So take an AWP and put it in a small cramped house.
Now pit it against your average Epic Pump Shotgun.
Now imagine if that AWP could do 80 damage at short/pointblank range while the Pump Shotgun would need to be at breathing distance to shave half your health.
Even if 80 damage is less than 100 or higher, the fact that it would be able to consistently deal 80 damage at any range without having to worry about connecting all your pellets would be terrible for the game (and the meta since you could just use a sniper as a shotgun instead of well, a shotgun.)
This used to be the case early on in the game's life, which was why the sniper was nerfed so that it had damage ramp up depending on how far away you are from your target. This is why Snipers deal 14 damage on average when shot pointblank.

Implementation of the vault items is actually very smart, the only foreseeable problem is if an extremely rare and valuable item (ie, Noobhammer, Daedalus Wings,) gets put into the shop. It could upset those players (like me) that have played since the beginning, and make them feel like they have earned nothing for their loyalty/ties to the game. However, it could be good for business, as people would probably gems to acquire the skins for status. Overall though, a very solid installation if it keeps up. Very smart.

Then the developers will be motivated to change the game rather than listen to us complain all day. Complaining demotivates them and demotivates us. Also deagle is a pretty good weapon if u know how to use correctly still practicing pairing deagle with semi auto and bolt mark ii snipers. With bolt mark ii snipers it's kinda hard at least for me bc when I shoot the sniper and then shoot the deagle and then switch to the sniper I get slow movement speed for some seconds which is kinda bad for me this makes me prone to getting shot which is why I stopped using this combo

With semi auto snipers it's pretty ez. U literally have to be super good in ur aim which I'm not but I'm practicing

40 damage is very small in the grand scheme of things. That’s typically equal to 2-3 ar shots, 1/2 a sniper shot, and maybe a few stray shotgun shells. Large ammo is, on average, the rarest ammo type in the game, making this a disadvantage. Not sure what you’re point is about range but why are complaining about movement speed in your previous message while using the argument of “that’s how it works in real life”. Shotgun will always win against deagles in door fights against skilled players, I recommend you 1v1 me if you want to find that out.
