I would suggestion a sandbox type arena away from public lobbies. It would be a custom lobby to anyone. All weaopns would be in this lobby and you can practice rev nade etc. A house would also be in this lobby/custom map and there would be no zone. You can invite ppl in ur squad to join and have another squad also get the invite code to get into the lobby/server. teams would choose there weopens/healing items/nades/etc. and fight. I feel like it would be a very cool way to practice or host scrims, 1v1s, and testing out new switchs etc.

Practical and interesting feature idea :

Not too mention improper release of the item itself, no heads up about it. I thought someone was hacking because there was no announcement or information publicly presented to players in a straightforward way to know what was up.
Fully agree with Verdants message above on the same subject echoing give us richer updates not a slapstick utility vehicle.

Struggling to find a positive but if you must keep it just add it to the rotating events call it Hover Craze because that's all it is(with low occurrence %) where everyone in the map has it. It's not feeling really fun or fair otherwise.

literally the only person having fun is the guy who has the hoverboard

just played a game where rng gave me a hoverboard and a vector and the strat was basically impossible to counter, you can do this with any P90 as well. You can also continuously harass somebody running a low fov build/trying to heal with a sniper or semi/hunting rifle to spam hits from unpredictably changing angles

people can strafe and wobble the hoverboard to make it near impossible to hit you with slow ROF weapons, your reliable source of damage against people who are abusing hoverboard to its fullest extent is spraying and spamming an assault rifle and praying they don't decide to crash into your face with a pump/smg

even if you have a high rof weapon you need god tier tracking or a hoverboard user with abysmal experience to actually make a kill

and even if you do make a kill in a squad/duo game, the hoverboard is still active even when you're downed so in squads you can just zoom back to your teammates and come back for a second assault

Well said and will just tack on for those of us using random matchmaking without dedicated partners or squad that sometimes bad partners take all the loot and drops being selfish; then give them the hoverboard and they are basically bullying/trolling the teammate and the opponents. I don't know how you missed that finishing you off in squads is impossible now because the hoverboard's insane speed boost is still active when you're downed, why would people believe this is "barely a competitive advantage"?

even if you trap them in a house and manage to close the door before they hover away (they strategically wouldn't, and logically they risk exiting the vehicle if they try to quickly open and close while moving that fast), the extent to which somebody can abuse the hoverboard in combat makes it hilariously overpowered

Obvious strategies for using the hoverboard:
-I think you would immediately see that the hoverboard was made for escaping opponents while it's impossible for them to pursue
-mix together a P90 spammer and a hoverboard and you get a player that can persistently reach the range to make use of P90's insane dps, effective even against players who can combo pump as they can easily move out of range even though they're using a one dimensional spammer strategy
^and that's just the bare minimum of what you can do with a hoverboard
-if your target doesn't have a pump or isn't using one effectively, you can close in with a pump and KO them
-if they're somehow doing well keeping up with the damage you're doing, you can retreat along cover then keep them within your sights with a sniper and ambush immediately whenever you can land shots/once they start healing, you can even hold out a healing item to make it more convincing without the speed penalty making any notable difference. If they don't stop moving, this level of mobility lets you constantly reposition along where they're moving to stand still and focus on your shots.

I don't have veteran levels of experience and it's still immediately recognizable that you have the best mobility in the game and can use weapons meant for extreme ranges consistently well

if they aren't prepared with explosives that you won't have an easy time just moving around, they need to have the skill to track somebody at a constant speed comparable to grappling hook, and if you realize that the hoverboard has the agility to continuously change to a lateral direction, I don't think any amount of skill will matter and fighting a hoverboard user just becomes spray and pray

I agree that this is finally an update adding something that's not just another continuous fire weapon with slightly altered stats, but there's no way this thing should stay as it is with no balancing change
If the devs don't want to just remove it, they could
-Change it into an item, that way you can't use it while downed to make eliminating you 10x more annoying & you can't shoot on top of being much harder to hit
-Limit how long you can use it, with the item count indicating how many seconds you have left, recharging while you're not using it, this way the speed doesn't need to be nerfed but can't be always used
-Make counters possible with push/pull/knockback items stopping the hoverboard
-As a minor addition, to add some sort of control instead of making whoever gets the hoverboard purely random, you could just add it to airdrop loot so that players know where it can be found and need to compete for it

even then this will still be an amazing mobility item, retreat is still possible if you avoid the counters and you have a much quicker pace in finding loot and can make it easier to reach the desired range for your weapon

Add permanent tags so people don't have to type them out. do clan chats, clan duos, clan tournaments, all incorporated within the game. Guarantee you will get more traffic, and inevitably, with more traffic comes more sales, which we all love. 1

2. Make small 1v1, 2v2, 4v4 maps for players who have beef. make it to where you can challenge players to duels.

3. A sound effect for a pin drop on the map would be extremely helpful.

4. In the lobby, add the ability to add friends that are in your duo/squad directly from the small list in the top left. Maybe a small + or something.

5. In the event that you add clans, you should add player Est. titles. (ex. est. 2020)

6. potentially add the ability to join a lobby with 0 bots, and/or wait longer for more players. Often times, bots don't add anything to the game.

7. potentially add permanent modes and/or multiple at one time. I'm aware that only having one mode at a time is likely because less players join, but if they're willing to wait, they can play.

8. If #5 isn't feasable, maybe add, for every player in zombs, a spray that says est. ####

9. potentially add the ability to see player stats, levels, and/or win to round - K/D ratios.

10. Add the ability to change the zombs ID after 6-12 months for free

11. I feel like XP for levels should be quantifiable, so each match should show you how much XP you earned, and in your profile, you should be able to see how much XP you need to progress to the next level.

I love ZR and have played since 2019, but I do feel that it could use a few major updates, since, to be completely honest, not many major updates have happened in the last few years. DM me if you are considering using any of these suggestions and want me to explain in detail.

@livid linden Suggestion: Create a ZR Ranked system. Obviously keep the game modes currently available for the people that play for leisurely fun. Create a ranked system alongside the normal solo duos squads. You tap or click on the game for instance solos, and it brings you to 2 options for instant on the left of your screen in unranked or regular solos, and on the right is ranked playlist. You earn points from kills, placement points and winning. Points bonus if you are on a winning streak so like 1.5x boost. However I understand the need for bots. You could lower the player lobbies, reduce the average ampunt of bots so people cannot find loopholes to progress or create new maps to motivate people to play more.

Rewards: Create rank skins. When a player achieves a certain rank you recieve a skin when the season ends, or create new crates you get when ending the season. The higher your finishing ranked the better or more sought after rewards are in the chest. The game might feel alive again.

Streaks:

Coins to Gems:
