   Also Part 2 teambuilding is based on Astral Ring types and tags for the most part, not elements
2. Yes, we recommend you follow the meta pulling decisions for a while until you understand the game more and can decide what you actually want out of the game
3. By "Part 2 S-ranks can be both supports and DPSes" we mean that their role is decided by whether they're the leader or not (leader = DPS), they can't really be both a support and a DPS at the same time in most cases

That's very situational, sometimes those ranks can be the difference between promoting/retaining in those situations you could buy some from the supply shop, BP is another thing there you would want to focus on old dkeys for the global +10 atk buff

There's also no rush to buy them from the supply shop at the moment it was just updated last version and will probably be here for a bit

I tried using the salvage tool & while I do have extra stigmas that can get me the red stuff, I don't have weapons for blue

with the change in the gacha system, nowadays the way to get blue resonance is to craft old former gacha weapons (3rd sacred relic is cheapest) in the foundry, then convert them (not salvage)

3rd sacred relic isn't cheaper by too much. You may opt to craft different weapons for more collection points too

salvaging old part 1 premium weapons will only yield honkai shards, which you can get in other ways so that's not recommended

specifically i believe the category you want to consider crafting are bounty weapons, but don't use pinions or abyss for it since they are divine keys and operate differently iirc.

also keep in mind judah is low priority and long term of a project. Be mindful of other priorities you may have for crafting (especially keeping ether fuel handy in case you need to craft prism stigmatas for newer valks nowadays)

there are four divine keys in the bp shop that are not available in foundry/exchange shop

• abyss flower lance
• twins of eden pistol
• might of an utu greatsword
• fenghuang down gloves

  Be aware though that fenghuang down and abyss flower need their craftable counterpart for the atk buff

and even if you have enough bp orbs, i wouldn't recommend rushing to get one immediately either

individually each dkey is only 10 atk. In a majority of situations, you won't notice this benefit

if you encounter a specific scenario where you exhausted all options and need that slight atk boost, then that's fine

but otherwise you never know if any one of them may suddenly become more available (they can give out a random abyss flower or something but not the rest. If you already picked the abyss flower early, then the dupe isn't very meaningful.)

Noted, I only have Fenghuang Down from a free dk box I think, & since you said there can be a random abyss flower dk, then it'd be between the other two there. Unless if they rotate shop with different assets, then the DKs or HoTr's M stigma for 4/4 would be the only ones I'd go for

that depends, while fws/vita/sparkle may be the best team dmg wise on paper other Heavenly shift units may provide things such as

• Critical value detonation ( songque) heavily favoured on SD bosses since this basically lets you skip a certain amoung of HP based on where the first Critical Value is in the HP bar
• Shieldbreak ( dudu)
• Bleed (sushang)
• Weak point ( HoHe)
  tldr it all comes down to the boss but vita is normally fixed in her team since she provides breach which is generally nice and fws has some extra buffs when she's in the elemental breaker state which vita provides, the 2. support then changes based on the boss

it's more about recency and relevance to the current abyss weathers and scenarios

lantern is a pretty decent current example of a p2 valk that hasn't aged well and is quite underwhelming in almost all regards.

although if you want to make a counterpoint that you can prob retain exalted redlotus tier with her if she's well relevant to the scenario then i suppose she still is viable

but i would argue lantern is about as niche as some p1 valks in terms of top uses at this point

however the big change to keep in mind is that you can now constantly alternate between FWS and PS

the perk of an LoA leader and a heavenly shift valk is that their (loosely speaking) big flashy animation attacks will reset each other's swap cd and QTEs

abyss lantern in transition only has two visages on field at a time

the main ways to deal with it are

• edit: UE > BA4 takes out a visage
• sushang WA
  • first input almost takes out one visage.
  • second input takes out a visage from full hp on its own
  • note WA refreshes upon killing a visage only if you own her signature weapon
• sushang ult can wipe out all (2) visages on field from full
• vita QTE, can clean up after sushang's first WA input
• vita weap and ba4 can take out a full visage
• there's prob more i haven't encountered yet

you also want to avoid hitstun from her bullets as much as you can

• then full CA the next one
• and then ult the third one before the fourth one was hittable
• WA completely on fourth visage
• then full CA the last one

• WA first part > Visage A
• WA second part > shift targets to Visage B (kills). Stand in the middle of the room and change targetting settings to free to make this easier.

• Finish second half of it on Visage C and maybe D?
• Ult to cleanup the last visages

maybe you can move the ult sooner too so it returns sooner but i'm struggling thinking about that

you may also instead value keeping the ult for p2 (especially if it's not killing two visages at that point) of the fight and opting to clean up the last few visages with other means (basics and/or WA?) instead.
