Should all be within SO

There's probably some situations where you can do it first but generally the cds and regen makes it the second time she's in play

I mean, there are a lot of different gamemodes, and they have different objectives

There's the main story, Abyss, Memorial Arena, Elysian Realm and some other stuff

The main story should be self-explanatory

Pre lvl 81 Abyss is about clearing 10 floors of enemies fast enough

Lvl 81+ Abyss is about killing the boss faster than other players

Memorial Arena is about killing bosses as well, but you have to use multiple teams, it has unusual timing rules and you don't have to compete (though you can if you want to)

Elysian Realm is a more casual gamemode, it's essentially a roguelike that significantly changes a character's playstyle

In the most grand scheme this is a gacha game, you farm/buy crystals to get more characters and gear

Just try playing HI3. Most players, streamers/vtubers that are playing this game are here mainly for the story. If you like lores and stuff... and reading (since there's no english dub), then you can give it a try. You don't even need to touch the gacha part at all to complete the story from ch1 till the latest.

the game got a lot of story to keep you busy for a good while and has events with varying gameplay and a competition game mode where you compete against others on who clears faster
the game is f2p friendly but you do want to stay active and be more strategic on your decision since the game does like to advertise a lot of stuff that usually isn't needed

other than that if you feel like these stuff suits ur liking then feel free to play 🙂‍↕️
just know that the game does reward you for being active and reward you with some collectibles if you keep doing the limited stuff

crystallums are just another kind of currency used in various bp shops. Before, crystallums are typically time limited to use. Immutable ones are new in that they are permanent.

Stuff in the bp shop are generally older releases and not too strongly meta useful, but you may still value them for more niche cases.

You're recommended to ask before spending any.

Crystallums are a Battle Pass Currency that can be exchanged for Valkyries and Equipment in the Reserve Works. Captains who purchase Knight or Paladin BP can access the BP Works for 3 versions.

There are 3 BP tiers offering different amounts of Crystallums as follows:
-# The totals below account for the 2 Crystallums in the Dorm Shop.

• Vanguard (F2P) BP: 5 per patch
• Knight BP: 18 per patch
• Paladin BP: 24 per patch

again it's permanent so you can just hold until you save enough

if you need to spend dorm tickets to advance through your early beginner missions then that's ok

the general recommended one early on will prob be coralie (valkyie blastmetal) but you might want to wait until you spike to captain level 30 first

at that point you'll be able to jump to the story of part 2 and get her stuff early there (both her signature weapon and her valkyrie card)

you also would want to go to the asterite shop and spend your asterite buying her fragments before the week changes (refreshes weekly)

you'll probably be able to unlock her from fragments but iirc it's better to unlock the valk with a card first

getting a dupe card after already unlocking them will cause the card to convert to a lesser amount of frags
