its actually not bad. Not like super sugary but carrot has natural sugar so you basically just finely shred/grate carrots, add flour water sugar etc and boom cake that is kinda dense, kinda carmelized sugary carrot. Kinda plain but I like it.
If you wanna know what the flavor is like, cut a carrot in half, put a little oil on it and bake it in the oven for a while (internet has recipes) so the sugar carmallizes and try that it'll let you know kinda what to expect flavor wise :3
