Well worst case you need 210 pulls for that and you get 10 free, so it's a question of if you can get 80 pulls next patch in the first 6 weeks, or 22k crystals. Abyss + ER + Dailies in 6 weeks is like 11k, +500 for HLE in ER, 5 free cards is 1.4k, throw in vanguard bpass and maitenance and events and you'll probably be a little short if you have no pity now and need to hard pity everything

but most likely you can get them all

so yea, try to farm enough for ely. if you can't hit her pull goal you'll sadly have to skip her

but part 2 teambuilding is different from part 1 and is a fundamental thing to know

every part 2 valks have a single ring type, but also usually multiple tags.

For any team building in part 2, you're matching the leader's ring type to the tags of the support.

Every kind of ring type has a matching tag it corresponds with. Don't pay attention to the meaning oof the names. Focus on what matches with what. (World star ring type <<< Domain resonance tag)

i'm kinda repeating what the faq already says but that's really as general and simple as I can make it. Hopefully that's clear. Otherwise if you're still confused after reading that and the faq, we can walk through a few examples and pictures

• you do have supports for horb with her new dkey
• however the next ely is a new ring type. They tend to release stuff that go along with each other close together. So you don't really have anything with the matching tags to support the new ely for now. HoRb with dkey can support her but for the last slot, it'll be a bit awkward until you get another new release afterwards probably.

Hopefully after reading the faq, you'll understand what i mean when i say all that.

but in part 2, if you're using a world star dps, loosely speaking as long as the supports have domain resonance tag, they can support pretty well

there's still differences and some can be a bit large but overall still very usable in the semi highest abyss tier and below usually

anyway going back to the original topic i'm basically asking you to figure out what tag matches with grail so you know what can be used to support the new elysia

the reason why matching tags are so important is because every ring type has its own gimmick and playstyle. A support with the right tag gives you effects that are very crucial to making that gimmick and playstyle work

• astral ring effects and mechanics is more than just this team building process. some effects only trigger off of specific ring/tags. we also didn't really talk about outburst or astral ops
• world star also has different sub roles of mark placers and mark detonators. some valks even have both roles at once

well let's move on for now. there's one last thing i want to talk about for part 2 team building

most detonators detonate 6 or so times

and if there's a separate mark placer on the team, these newer leaders usually have some effect to consume the extra marks to convert it into immediate damage

oh i think i remember now. The typical world star supports are vita, hofi, or fws nowadays unless the specific fight calls for something else eccentric

but i rather you not focus on these. Again it mainly matters on the highest tier of abyss

anyway i do want to talk about what to do if you don't have tagged supports. The main solution is using Rite of Oblivion ring types which is more special and acts more like a wildcard

so this applies to using farmable coralie and also vita (which is prob why you asked about vita earlier)

they don't give you crucial mechanisms to the ring type but they do at least qualify for leader skills and give some partial benefits

she's actually amazing for supporting Law of Ascension (albeit this was with a trick in abyss. Also very good in arena for stalling the timer)

and being an SD valk, she has a unique utility against SD enemies that's very notable as well

she was fine on release just like any new release. The thing about part 2 is that every release is kinda similar to each other loosely speaking

nothing like HoT or HoV back in the day that dominated the meta on their own

so if you want to be meta in part 2, try to not take breaks so you can keep up with crystal income, and pull new release valks with their weapons regularly when you can afford to (f2p can't get them all. Skipping every now and then is fine)

as long as you get enough of them you'll be able to handle most situations enough to stay in red lotus (semihighest abyss tier)

the new coralie does have a team breach effect so i kinda expect her to be better than other options a bit, but again for support purposes, lesser things can still be pretty close nowadays
