There's a Main Story quest tab.
But it is actually 2 separate storylines mixed together.
One the actual main story and the other the recruitments.
So you have situations where a character is away for some reason and then the next mission is a recruitment one with the character that was away present. Then when the mission goes back to the main storyline you have a scene of the character coming back.
And the recruited characters are never present in the actual main story.
But it's all on the same quest line.
