i do think there can be an advantage in dipping into niche and not recommended territory to better secure promotions in abyss that people are going to skip out on at large

but that's more of a personal call of which way you want to go. It's likely to be more niche but i can only say so much

i think one thing you need to keep in mind is you can't cover everything unless you're really spending

and that looking only at typings like this is a bit flawed when bruteforce options esp far in the future can overcome the type advantages

as an example against mobius i found that qua teri dps was still roughly the same than playing the team with lv dps in mind. Part of that was because of how long the fight was taking and how sp sustain was better with the former

imo pt 2 valks correlating with each other makes picking any particular one less of an emphasis. As long as you have enough of the major roles to fulfill a team you can usually get a close score

you can see this across wyverein's support comparisons. Often times the damage difference between gacha support choices aren't big. (it can still be big if a particular utility gets emphasized ofc)

anyway to roughly summarize

• make sure you actually can guarantee teri's weapon. Keep in mind what Ai Hyperion has said too about waiting in case more news comes up.
• if you care about aponia i don't think qua teri's weapon can be negotiated because of the extra stress meter it gives. Recall the aponia rotations i've played with before. If you don't mind losing buff time then sure drop it.
• My general priority otherwise is to skip teri due to her lesser general relevance and to wait to see how sparkle and the new valk afterwards would pan out.
  • Skipping Sparkle weapon doesn't seem like a good idea since it does have ATF and collapse utility on it.
  • If you need more valks for new ring type support instead of sparkle, I would just pray future releases has it. Can rely on Vita and Cora in the meantime. Cora won't have any tags for a new ring type but at least her RoO ring will qualify for fulfilling the LS of it.

Keep in mind it takes roughly 30-40k crystals for a valk and her weapon. And that a patch's income can be 15-17k as f2p.

• If you get zero'd from going after qua teri's weapon at the end of this patch, you definitely shouldn't pursue sparkle, and might not be able to afford the valk afterwards too.
• if you skip teri weap and sparkle you can prob reasonably afford the new valk afterwards in full.
