Astral ring intensity is the 'Energy' that accumulates when Astral Ring is activated. At max intensity, the button can be pressed to enter Stellar Outburst.

There are a multitude of ways to regen and speed up the gain of ARI.
To gain Astral ring intensity captains can:

• 1 per 0.5 seconds you are in combat (Basic AstralOp skill)
• Consume stellar drain
• 1 per ultimate evasion performed

but if you used 2 ult in p1 to finish it, which i did.
then you will probably find ur second ring coming up sooner than your ult does
and for me,
it was better to wait for ult cd to come up, ult then ring, then by the time my ult comes back off cd, i kill.

so if you have more damage then maybe u can ring instantly or something

i just spammed evade + jump together ngl, but on hofi, when you at 2 hits alr, the atks dont come together all at once right, so after the diagonal ones, theres a slight delay before the next dodge

if u do need the second ring asap, then there's always malding the feather atk on sa after she dies

i don't really have a general answer especially when the difference is small. Maybe you can go by release date and see which one is newer.

Mobius does have mob linking mechanics so pick her if you think you'll be fighting multitarget alot.

However mobius also needs a constant resupply of sp so consider her less if you don't have hotr and/or lunar vow.

Aponia on the other hand might be a bit more rigid (edit: and awkward) in rotations and her playstyle benefits from effects that boosts other valks on field. Eden is especially notable for her (but eden can support mobius too)

keep in mind hi3 is full of skewed scenarios. It's pretty rare to find a truly neutral scenario

so odds are that minor difference will get overshadowed by actual context

for aponia i sadly don't have any similar resources or know what else she can use since eden would take handel (and part of handel's conditions is casting ult which aponia has awkward CD and sp sustain for)

zhenyi wants weapon active which might be awkward for aponia too. I vaguely recall she may not be able to use that often (she uses it to enter her passive onfield state iirc)

the other support slot can be ogier T or roald amundsun (no need to level/upgrade) 3pc

you can read the effects to understand why i suggest these

a few other unrelated notes

• darwin is highly impractical to use. For a lightning dps stick with edison 3pc at worst. Tesla T can be good if you can control and keep paralyze state up on an enemy but beware bosses have a status cooldown.
• For a physical dps marco B isn't worth using. For you maybe Marco TM and Michelangelo B

if you ever want actual meta help, feel free to ask for that too but i'll leave it out since you were clear it's not of your interest.

every ring type matches with a specific tag

grail matches with symbiosis hence why i suggested the filters earlier

the grail leader playstyle focuses upon restoring alot of sp to ult alot. Symbiosis allows the team to restore alot of sp during outburst

if you don't have symbiosis then we can discuss a bit more on what else you can use as cope in the meantime

or we can discuss how lunar vow can operate as an astral ring support

only works if you have the resources though. .. otherwise, default to the other suggestions

blue resonances are mainly from crafting and converting (not salvaging) high rarity non-bounty weapons (3rd sacred relic (katana/blade) is slightly cheapest)

red resonances are mainly accumulated slowly from open world finalizations although you can craft some cheap g1 to salvage into them

also on the note of other sources, there's also the reserve works bp shop, but this is arguably the slowest of the three areas to get older stuff from

Immutable Crystallums

Hey there, Captain!

Crystallums are a Battle Pass Currency that can be exchanged for Valkyries and Equipment in the Reserve Works. Captains who purchase Knight or Paladin BP can also access the BP Works of that patch for 3 versions.

There are 3 BP tiers offering different amounts of Crystallums as follows:
-# The totals below account for the 2 Crystallums in the Dorm Shop.

• Vanguard (F2P) BP: 5 per patch
• Knight BP: 18 per patch
• Paladin BP: 24 per patch

It is recommended to spend your Crystallums on Divine Keys that you have yet to collect for permanent account-wide ATK bonuses. See the list [here](#👶beginner-help message).

tbf, the main question being "who's better ?" gives the impression that you care about performance

there is room to care about intermediate or non standard performance but yeah most people asking things like that are concerned with "best" to the degree of something that meet modern standards

and alot of people come in asking about old valks thinking they are still meta when they're not (especially with the annual valk box although ||this one is kinda exceptional in that there's actually meta considerations for it||)

so overall just make sure to make things clear

oh i mispoke. I said non-bounty weapons earlier but what i really meant was bounty weapons that are NOT divine keys.

Divine key bounty weapons would otherwise be things like abyss (lance) or fenghuang pinion (gloves)
(although these might still be ok as long as you don't tune them? You do want to tune one copy of each meta wise though. I don't remember)

   Or 2. Pick her from the box and wait for weekly shards

its better to get the char as a whole rather than using frags to unlock

so the box does that, and if you had the full amount of the card saved up, then you can also do that.

is box better than buying out the card, they should be relatively similar

with the collecting frags unlocking being the least efficient

the question is just if you can actually increase your AL stock while buying out her frags

its always annoying. all of the farmable things here are either time-gated or limited actions per day/per week. it will take months just to full set via grind, so yea. prepare for that
