it depends on the boss sometimes there's an indicator sometimes it's a feeling but yeah the WA doesnt have to hit the enemies only the ult does.
yeah in SO it was just ult and nothing else, you may opt to do WA -> wa -> ult -> ult and then skip the WA on FDD depending on the situation but like everything in this game it's situational what you do

sry i thought we were talking about the SO rot for some reason then i remembered ches didnt had one, but my the core of my message basically stays the same, you may change support rots depending on the boss and it can make a difference but the important thing is to activate both buffs before DPSing with your DPS. sometimes doing one support before the other also makes the rotation of the second support easier, for example ches needed to do BA4 -> wa -> ult on fdd while i could just do qte -> wa -> ult

just that paws's charged atk deals a decent amt of dmg (so does fdd's enhanced wa) BUT it really depends on which boss you're fighting, paw's charged atk takes up quite abit of time, you dont lose any dps on hle because you're still doing her full and complete dps rotation

HotR can help Trio but trio is niche and gearless trio even nicher
