The lag appears to be really just related to the map itself being rendered.

Please miKekYo, change this map to something less demanding, this is the3rd patch since this Abyss Cycle got added yet it's still not fixed.

The game begins running smooth as butter in 30 and 60fps during HoR's ult, in which this or any map isn't rendered.
That's how I arrived at this conclusion.

I noticed there's incredible lag when an enemy that's required to be killed exists on the map. In between floors when there are no enemies or only "side" enemies for a bit, the game runs smoother

That is actually an intended feature. The giant puppet statue's animations look "snappy"(or twitchy) as to make it look creepier and animatronic-like. Just look at the way the puppet in the dialogue itself has her head twitch.

I've been having this issue with story cutscenes since patch 4.7 where the character models don't appear. I play on iOS and nothing I do fixes the issue. Restarting phone, updating OS, reinstalling game, making sure nothing is running in the background, nothing works. Did you link your account to your Google account? It might be trying to force a connection to a link that doesn't exist. I don't know if that is a thing or not though

I clicked on email and did what it told me

I entered my email

and the verification number

and then boom "email contains invalid characters"

i then tried my email but instead of gmail I put email

because that worked with me in multiple games

and boom it worked but I didnt receive any email from honkai/mihoyo

and it was stuck on the verify thing
