For now the main concern is Discord permissions breaking. With the addition of even more roles we worry things will break more often... and that's a worry if potentially more can see things they shouldn't.

We need a high demand for it, not many have been vocal for it. New language channels need extra work and also scouting for trustworthy moderators. As of now best way is for more Portuguese to come forward, or have a separate Portuguese Discord server. We also follow whatever miHoYo localizes, so if they plan on a Portuguese translation we will add it here as well.

We actually do have a method down on it, we decided to not go that go that route.
Doing a role command is sort of a gate keeping thing for such a big place, if someone doesn’t know how to read rules and do the commands they’re not ready to join the server. It has blocked several spammers by just locking them into one visible and usable channel (not the ones who keep trying and need help). There were folks who didn’t do the commands and mass spammed in that channel instead like everyone pings or trying to advertise servers. Better to know their intentions there than in the main channels.
If they can just see the a reaction and click they don’t need to look around the rules channels/look around even less.
No one needs to look back in the channel once they’re finished with their roles.

unlike the previous request for the Portuguese language, I propose a recruitment mechanism with minimal effort for mods and staff's members, because I understand perfectly how difficult and expensive it is to
check and control a non english chat.
I would like to structure the channel in this way: a question like "sei un giocatore italiano? benissimo, manda l'emote della bandiera in chat o contattami in pvt" ( are you an italian player? great, send italian flag or contact me in pvt )
the user can only send that message, the flag, and any other will be deleted. in this way i will recognize and contact them.
you must know that hi3rd isn't brought by any content creator and consequently creating a community is almost impossible without asking in international servers.
me and @short fossil will take care of all problems like the creation of a server, recruitment system etc... simply I need help to start creating the community, to be admitted and to be allowed to take hold.
I hope you will evaluate this option.

We don’t put full information about valkyries since it’ll be way too much, only by build suggestions (hence the !b). It also links to gamepedia for further info on the valk instead.

Our standards for Global are different (hence the different affection system) from other regions, like where the black and white manga version is from. It’s still NSFW, for example the whole panel of Himeko 98% nude while she’s putting on the battle suit.
As a general guideline if you have to think twice (given you have common sense) it’s better to not post something.
However, the Crunchyroll version of that manga which was released for Global should be alright and more tame as far as I’ve seen...

I can think of several people offhand who'd meet those criteria.

It is a nice idea, but in reality it’ll be troublesome for users to go through a whole list of bugs there before trying to post and would possibly create a tense atmosphere of “should I really post this?” or other users just spamming to them it’s a known issue already.
Oftentimes they don’t even look up one post above them to see that someone else already posted the exact same issue... so having an entire channel is counterproductive and a drain on time. People just want to report whatever and leave.
Users don’t have to worry about the state of #🐛bug-report . We auto log it through our bots into our own spreadsheets for mods and miHoYo to look at together.
Just post your bugs and leave it to us on sorting things out! It’s not supposed to be a channel that’s entirely pleasing to look at.

It's interesting to have a list of known issues (only those that can be disclosed) as it:
• Increases the transparency of the game
• Not sure how correctly the bots audit user input issues, but I've seen cases where users (including me) piss off because the bug they post somehow wasn't recognized (as in the pinned post of #🐛bug-report : acknowledged with an 👌 reaction [it's pretty much any Mod's reaction now I think]). I'm pretty sure you don't want to upset players who are willing to make the game a better place 
-> Having the issues list will pretty much ease the feeling of being ignored for those users

I would really appreciate some type of sub convo for CN lore leaks cause the lore channel is meant for global so all material mentioned on it is accessible to the global server but every time there is a CN story leak, the lore channel gets filled with speculation and new players trying to understand what's going on leave cause they dont want to be spoiled. If there was a sub chat for the CN leaks, then they could talk about whatever exclusive information they would like without spoiling anything for the rest of the global server. Thanks!

SEA players find this server pretty comfy to be in, with nice ppl and all, but we cant engage on in game matters thro here. also the number of SEA players on this server has just increased since i got in, and i think we all would appreciate if there was a place for us

Basically with the influx it's becoming no tag = SEA.
Unfortunately we are not going to have SEA roles, since this is the Global server which caters ultimately to NA and EU. The staff, mods, and bots here engage in Global content and issues, not SEA. Having such a tag will give rise to expectations (having news, bugs, payment issues, etc. about SEA) and cause lots of confusion between members.
Most of the content is the same anyways between Global and SEA. The only major differences are supplies, so there shouldn't be too much of a problem joining the channels as is.

We would like to set up some criteria on what will make a good emoji. If you follow these your emoji candidate has a better chance of being accepted.
- Emoji candidate must be in HD, PNG, and preferably 256x256. So nothing small and blurry, or rectangular.
- Must be completely related to Honkai. Something like a worry emoji with Theresa in it won't be admitted.
- Facial expressions should be clear enough to be seen from the smaller version like .
- Close ups are preferred to have more detail.
- If the emoji candidate has to be cleaned, please try to have an image that doesn't have a lot of noise.
- File must be under 256kb in size (more important with animated emojis).
There will be exceptions of course, Captains. These are just guidelines!

The software being used to transpose in-game announcements to #glb-current-events and #glb-current-supplies produces a typo on average about once every 15 to 20 words. It's pretty easy to see if you skim.
If software isn't being used and a human is making these typos, I don't know what to tell you other than

We did have a limited edition battle simulator for the Summer Wars event, was pretty neat.
Unfortunately there is a pretty big backlog on what to do with the bot and devs are real busy IRL so things like these are pretty low priority, but would be nice to have.

About the "casual chat channel" issue, we are not going to go that route and segregate others. It's counterproductive and plain messy. It does not stop anyone from crossing channels and inciting more arguments. It doesn't make people read rules and descriptions any more than they do now. It will create a more toxic mentality of players not being wanted in the channel since the boundary is clear. It doesn't deal with the underlying issue of respecting others, which we will try to instead enforce harder from now on.
