Honestly an awesome idea, however, the links that are generated for the voice chats aren't permanent links unless a user makes it to be. Our current bot we use (not coded by us), Dyno, uses whitelisted links and blacklists the rest. As we're currently looking to change bots, we may look into changing it to have it that way. I honestly like that feedback and we've had that one going on for a while in mod chat since it simplifies everything.

We used to have that, we had channels for every role, this was before I was a moderator but I was very active in those channels (top mid jgl supp adc), but it never really got used so we all meshed it into #⬫┆gameplay-discussion , the only channels that saw talk in was top dicussion and support. Mid was dead, jungle saw some talk and adc was basically just people ranting. I don't think it would be a bad thing but at the end of the day it's just extra places to mod without anyone really talking there.

I just wanted to add that we actually used to have this, there was a bot where if you typed like role <champ> it would give it to you but we removed it because there's a limit to where if you have too many roles on a server it could make it lag & possibly crash it when editing other roles if there's too many.

And also as Laurin already pointed out, there is a cap and the amount of champions is just too much with more coming out. The idea is good though! If someone needs help with a champion, we usually direct them to #⬫┆new-players, #⬫┆gameplay-questions or #⬫┆gameplay-discussion if we can't help them out ourselves.

But I was thinking about something like different channels for different champions and u can pick up roles for each channel to be able to enter and talk inside of them. The problem with that , besides the role limit, is that it would practically be impossible to moderate. Moderating 150+ channels at all times is really not easy unless you have a really large team because we would need to moderate those channels and also the current channels.

You can always right click your profile and press change nickname, the option however to change nickname is only available to users level 5(?) and higher to prevent new users from changing their names to bad things, if your not level 5 you can message the bot ModMail and ask for a change

@uncut bramble we allow people with levels to stream because they have gone w/o getting banned and have been a regular for a while. You lose all your levels if you get banned - so people generally who are around a while are much more trustworthy with streams.

That's why we don't do it for boosters - it's a perk that you have to earn overtime from being a regular since it builds a level of trust. If you abuse it, and get banned you lose it.

That's the reasoning why it's only from leveling

@honest panther there's a few things you should know about the reporting process around here, the first is that you don't do it in public, and the second is that ya don't ping admins for it. it's unacceptable behavior but it's not something to ping admins for, DM @nocturne plover instead

and we're never gonna have an expose AFK channel because 1- it actually happens relatively little, and 2- it'd just become a place for people to rant and scream at each other basically, so it's not gonna happen. If someone around here trolls your game all you can do is block them and move on, on both platforms if you need to

Our current bot does not check per domain, it just autodeletes them. If we had another bot checking per domain rather than that, it would work out. While it might be annoying, having stream levels at lvl20 is because those people are regulars and can be trusted more. They’ve been here long enough, and active, to be trusted to follow the server rules and not stream something they shouldn’t be.

Nah, I understand that. But I know a lot of people don't hang around because of the inability to stream. A simple way to make it so people don't abuse it would be; 1. they have to be level 10 to stream (which takes around a month to actually reach), and 2. make it so you can only stream in the general. Rewards people who are committed to staying in the server as well as an incentive for people to actually start hanging around more often. If it's only the general they can stream in, it's also a lot easier for mods and admins to keep track of what people are streaming as well because you can hover to check. Sorry, I thought about it a lot.

Hi! I'd like to know if there is any level you reach so you can change your server name. If not I think you should at least consider the possibility... for example it's convenient to tag as you do in the actual game of the community server you are being part of. I mean, it's very easy to change your name directly on discord but as long as you play different games your nicknames will probably change or like me, I enjoy using my actual name as my general discord name, and that's the reason why I think it's nice to be able to change our own server nickname...
