I've tried very little of the early game tbf

2 gearbox just seriously, no way around it ruined endgame thanks to the Fight For Sanctuary dlc

Adding more levels and OP levels made the somewhat weirdly unbalanced yet balanced endgame literally unplayable unless you do meta builds

Regular enemies have insane regen and hp, some raid bosses glitched thanks to the absurd health levels and got 2x because of it

That is another thing, borderlands 2 it feels that it's always the same viable guns in the endgame, mainly from the DLCs but on borderlands 3 there are a lot of weapons that are viable in the endgame and like 40% of them are from the vanilla game, no DLCs.

You also have most definitely encountered the blazing trail damage Wether you thought it was a bug or not! The charging ship radius? Dev side has been cranking through nearly exclusively multiplayer bugs. We haven't found a new single player bug in quite some time now 👀 . There's a lot of platform-specific multiplayer stuff that all has to be really really tight and each of the platforms have specific needs. We're getting there 👍

The issue with that is that sometimes when youre fixing bugs something can look like a tiny number of things but when they're opened up each one is a HUGE amount of work. And sometimes it looks like a BUNCH of things but each of them are tiny. Hard to give you really clear details there

id say try to get an item a minute, preferably get all the chests as fast as possible, but 1 item a minute max

its mostly dependant on how you want to play though, you can go for early teleporters or stay and grind cash for chests

imo try to find a sweet spot between time/items

it wouldnt exactly be worth grinding 5 minutes for cash for a single chest for example

my general rule is dont spend more than 10 minutes on any given stage

you can if you reallyyyyy need/want items but thats up to you

Look there is not a good amount of items to have before leaving the stage thing, just what is the best looting path, what I normally do is that I locate where the teleport is once I find it I loot everything on the opposite side of the teleport, once I finish with that, I go to the teleport and complete it and loot everything that it's near the teleport, now you have to know when, where and how to do things and this can be only obtained by experience in the game.

Knowing target priority and be aware of the console exploits you can take advantage of, and you have to be aware of the terrain and save your utility (roll/slide) to save you from fall damage and if you can use it to get you out of dangerous moments.

a bug i like to call "double dips bug" , what I mean is that all damage increases items and/or passives get reapply throughout proc items and proc chains, little example, imagine an attack that deals 150 with crit and 1 stack of crowbar and that attack procs an Atg, normally the damage calculation for the Atg would be, 50(original attack)* 2(crit)+50%(crowbar)=150* 3(1stack of Atg)=450(total damage of the Atg),50* 2+50=150* 3=450, but what happen is that the double damage of crit and 50% extra damage of the crowbar get reapply to the Atg.
50(original attack)* 2(crit)+50%(crowbar)=150* 3(1stack of Atg)=450(total damage of the Atg)* 2(crit reapply)+50%(crowbar reapply)=1350, and it gets crazier the more proc items you have and more damage increase items and damage increase passives you have.
