Bug: "Simulacrum freezing at wave 100 enemies stop spawning, could be the result of dios best friend being added to monster item pool. As that event occured just on this wave"
could the mithrix final phase skip be fixed? im sure a lot of people don't want that but i really really want to see what happens when mithrix takes all my items after 3 loops and i never can get him to final phase without overkilling him
happens due to fire band
the entity is a different enemy altogether so unless it spawns invincible it will always have that 1 frame
I tried to use artifact of vengeance to unlock captain's unique item for the logbook, but when I killed the doppelganger nothing dropped

Judging from the amount of drones you had, you were probably at the drone/ally limit and for whatever reason the void portal won’t spawn because of that
Basically the only thing you can really do in that case is make sure to never get to like 18-20 Allies if you plan to go there

It wasn't the drones. The cap is way beyond the ones I have there. Maybe it's the rockets with ICBM?

I’d say next time you wanna go through the void portal just steer clear of getting more than 10-15 just to be safe anyways because I’m 97% sure that’s the issue
Some of my drones died so it's impossible it's the drones, my friend also had drones and died as well

I’d have to try it out but I doubt I’d get around to it
this only happens on one of the jump pads (the one between blood and soul pillars), the workaround is to use any of the 3 other pads to avoid bumping your head, and not moving at all during the jump
You can stall the TP indefinitely with a Brittle Crown and burning allies through Hellfire Tincture, specifically most effective with Engineer.
Somehow got softlock after killing the first phase, maybe i killed it too fast?
BUG: 'Shuriken' fires only ones with carbonizer turrets.
If you have 'shuriken' your carbonizer (movement) turrets fires them only at the start of attacking.
If the enemy is boss and you need some time to kill him it's easy to notice that turrets not attack with 'shuriken' one target after start.
BUG: Can't exchange 3 white items to 1 green if you have consumed 'Power Elixir'.
In the 'blue portal' i wanted to exchange my 3 white items for 1 green. I have had 4 white items and 1 Consumed power elixir (5 white items in total). But when i pressed key to buy item, nothing happened.
I also think this bug may have happened because Consumed 'power elixir' was on my first or second position in items UI on top.

Void Enemy for Seed on Abyssal Depths was somehow inside rock face, so I couldn't kill it. Besides circling around the rocks to make sure I wasn't missing a secret way in, my Spider mines are permanently running into the wall trying to reach it.

void fiend's corrupted version of the trespass ability interrupts red whip's speed buff
if it's intended, why would it be? that ability deals no damage and is purely mobility
Soft-lock in lunar Bazar: infinite uptime helfire tincture with roll of pennies. Infinite money dynamo will not let you pass through the portal, but will constantly level you up. Happened in a two player situation, I held tincture, friend had pennies. (We could walk away from eachother to pass through, but I would imagine having both items at the same time would result in the softlock) {TESTED, NOT TRUE, it's safe and will not lock you}
DoppelgangerDropTable.GenerateWeightedSelection() accidentally uses it's Boss weight insteda of LunarItemWeight
Bug noticed: if you scrap/print away your last oddly-shaped opal while the +100 armor bubble is active, it remains active for the remainder of the stage, effectively giving you insane damage reduction for one stage only. It even persists through being hit!

After stage 13 or so, the game would start to freeze for periods of over ten minutes constantly, had to alt f4 after being frozen for nearly 30 minutes. this has NEVER happened before at all in any previous versions, and the game was not dropping frames whatsoever prior to the freezes
i jumped off the one between the bridge and the mass pillars
must've, but damn, everything was dead around me when i jumped
had both turrets by the exit tunnel nearby mass pillars

Entering the painting mode of the Engineer's alternate Harpoon utility pauses the cooldown for the secondary, think that it sometimes resets the cooldown of the mine back to 8s.
on further testing the cooldown resetting seems to happen after you get 1+ backup mags and are at 0 uses of your secondary
loader's spiked fist sometimes deals no damage to blind pests despite the attack hitting and pulling them in

I had something similar happen on sky meadow! one of the void enemies fell off the edge of the stage but it didn't count as 'dead' for some reason. Which meant the void seed was locked
I only knew it fell off because I actively saw it happen
Me with every void seed after 2nd loop when I started insta killing everything with void glasses

Void Glasses are for when I just want to do some trolling most of the time I get them
Fair. I lean heavily into on-crit builds since I main flurry huntress, so crit glasses are my go to to boost everything

hey so my risk of rain won't even start, there's a pop up that loads for a second then my game won't load. i tried clicking the actual game and even from steam but it doesn't work
i tried a lot of different things, like disabling antivirus, restarting my pc, updating local game files and completely redownloading the game, but nothing has worked
any other solution I can try?
Idk if this is intentional but i got spawned inside of a void seed. This was on level 2, idk the map name but the new desert ruin thing map
Hi! I just wanted to report a bug I found at stage 50 in the simulacrum game mode. The enemies got a Dios Best Friend and after I killed them all, no more monsters spawned despite the bar not being full, and the safe aura itself also did not shrunk (unfourtunatly i didn't take a screenshot of the game)
Railgunner's scope is really hard to use with artifact of chaos due to the critical marker obstructing the view
Enemies got Dio's best friend and after killing a Xi Construct things stopped spawning (The constructs didn't revive with dio's apparently) we've been here for over 5 minutes and the aura doesn't shrink and nothing spawns.
If gup spawns past Stage 15 on artifact of kin the game drops to 1fps and uses tons of CPU and RAM because of the splitting gups allowing way to many enemies to spawn
Same thing, i was playing with him and we got to stage 15, but we got the gup event on sky meadow (we had artifact of swarms on too) this caused our game to crash with the amount of enemies and all the item effects upon killing the splitting gups. In my opinion this is a pretty serious issue because all of your god runs that go around 1 and a half hours to 2 can just be lost to an unlucky spawn of gups.

i think there's something wrong with the way the ||Voidling ||stays on the ground bc halfway through fighting it it ends up flipping upside-down and continuing on like nothing happened
was doing a double saw MUL-T run and i have very poor range, but i was doing amazing until this new DLC boss showed up. Turns out that if you have the friendly fire artifact active, the little minions will shoot the boss and then the boss will try to shoot the minions that are on his shell, but he will never kill them. He ends up flying very high into the air and my game is soft-locked as i has literally no way to get up there or shot him(again, i have very poor range)
ive tried getting a brass construct to shoot upwards but ive almost died way more than the spike balls have nearly even come close to hitting the boss
OK NVM I had shurikens omg if i didnt have shurikens i would have never finished the game
There is a bug in stage 7 (Mithrix's place) where in the middle of the stage where all the paths branch to go to different pillars you can get stuck between 2 walls in the middle left roundabout (going forwards after passing the ship). Just lost a run because i couldn't move, jump nor use my utility (as MUL-T).
Mul-T with Ben's Raincoat seems to be perma-slowed after coming out of Power Mode

I ran into a bug on a normal run with captain, on stage 3 mithrix none of my items were sucked into him and mithrix just proceeded to go straight into his attacks, it might've had something to do with the incinerator drone because it was able to damage him in the time window where he should've been invunerable
rainstorm in simulacrum is listed as normal instead of rainstorm

I have activated the radars on a few environments and didn't get the log entry for them; New radars also won't spawn, so I'm unable to complete my logbook 100%.
I'm missing Aphelian sanctuary, Sulfur pools, Rallypoint delta, and Siren's call. Even though I distinctly remember activating the radar on all of which, I don't have their logs.

Prior to the events described, I had completed Commando: Uncorruptible, and the notification popped during a visit to the Bazaar immediately after; I took a peek at the log myself and there was a whole bunch of errors thrown regarding the challenge, and I had also been in the Bazaar on a separate visit prior to the described freeze
when a void reaver is killed within/partially within a void bubble there are bright flashing lights that occur. seems the graphics are fighting(z fighting maybe but unsure)

acrid appears to have neck issues when not sprinting
also parents appears to have particle issues
lowering the setting that causes VFX to stop appearing when too many are present (forgot the name) causes Void Fiend's base M2 to occasionally not display the explosion VFX and corrupted M2 never displaying the explosion VFX, even when no other VFX are present. Effects from survivors should probably have a priority over others so they get displayed more consistently (no other character has this issue, not even 20 stages into a run).

I can see this has been reported at least once, but if you have Wake of Vultures, you still get the Mending beam even after the effect has ended. The previous report I found said the beam didn't heal their allies, however when I was being affected by this, it was indeed healing my alpha constructs and my equipment drone.
Dios in Simulacrum does not feel tested
very easily it can softlock and make duplicate character masters that stay in the combat squad
which just softlocks the wave until you die
It's always the Gup family that's the problem
The Minor Constructs on the Mega Construct also do it probably reviving with no place to attatch to

probably not a bug as much as unintended, but railgunner has a meter on her backpack. when you use supercharge the meter glows red, when you fire it the meter empties and slowly fills up, signifying the "restarting" state
logically, since cyrocharge doesnt disable your weapons, you shouldnt see that interaction while running cyrocharge, but you do

Using Void Friend's not corrupted Trespass while being launched by a geyser (or it's alternatives) will make you unable to move (with WASD) after Trespass ends, making you fall without being able to do much about it

is it normal for void fields to only have scavengers and grandparents spawn after a certain difficulty level? i decided to jump in there after a several hour eclipse run to see if (sotv spoilers) ||the deep void portal would spawn during eclipse mode|| and the only two enemies released from the cells were scavengers and grandparents. during the waves when other enemies are meant to be released nothing happened
Im not sure if this is a bug. But Defensive Microbots will not drop from Umbra of Captain. Not sure if its a percent chance but I've killed him 12 times and he drops nothing everything
thats a bit of a shallow excuse, being locked into a trajectory and using a movement ability and not being able to move is jarring. The geysers could work velocity based instead of track based (assuming that movement is determined by variables that direct the x,z for movement and a formula for y)

On wave 50 in simulacrum enemies got Dio's best friend mid-wave after killing all enemies it said 18 enemies remained with no enemies sight. Lasted until void field began to falter and we all died inevitably.
Is there a certain point where the portal stops taking your money or did I encounter a bug?
Interesting. For me, in late stages the game sometimes would just kinda forget how to spawn enemies, at which point the rounds would end after a bit, and it would last until I went to the next area. Never happened after all enemies were spawned for me though.

Mercurial Rachis doesn't seem to play its animation for when it appears out of the ground even though it still plays its animation for disappearing.

Got void enemies on sky meadows flying out to the border of the map and not dying. Might’ve been hit by a flying meteorite and pushed out there? Looks like it’s a void wisp fighting a normal wisp all the way out there, impossible to kill. Should probably be some type of limit that kills them when they’re that far out lol

well, it says its at 320x200, but it seems to be normal
scrapping opal while the buff is enabled doesn't remove the buff and it is not disabled even getting a damage(maybe the buff is not enabled actually but anyway this is a bug)
+same for shuriken. It doesn't have an actual effect, so I think it's the same with opal

Some people can’t even open the game
Instakilling enemies using Lost Seer's Lenses doesn't always remove all their related effects. Most notable with Celestine enemies, but I also notice this with an invisible box left behind by Imp Overlords occasionally (might have something to do with their teleports).
Waves stopped at 50 in Simulacrum on meadows map and after 60 seconds of no enemies spawning the wave did not skip is it cause the rocks that fly through meadows count as enemies?
if I get too far in a run, or I pick up some defiant gouges, shrines of combat just stop being able to be actived
That bug has been in the game since the first early access (3years) don’t think it’s super important

killing gubs late game creates insane lag spikes
From my very limited knowledge, taking your money after each stage is an intended mechanic as it turns your remaining currency into xp before each stage
i get it. but they were/are quite radio silent and didn't know if they even paid attention to this kind of glaring issue.
This happens a lot to me at least. Often when I play on sky meadow enemies such as void barnacles and alpha constructs spawn so far away that I cant reach. Which is frustrating cause if they're void enemies I cant get rid of the void seed if I don't have range. Only reason I dealt damage to this one is cause I have an ATG and the missiles flew all the way over to it

doing a command run, literally just running around the teleporter and little disciple isn't shooting off,
we got scammed of 6 greens
the game will crash as soon as i enter it
I also get that, and momentum bugs with solus/alpha bosses that fly out of bounds and don't come back. Had to end a merc run that way because no range

this blind vermin is green on RPD simulacrum because of dissonance. they all spawned as green

I'm on wave 50 of Simulacrum with my friend and its bugged, the bar isn't moving up and no enemies are spawning. There are no arrows pointing to enemies alive on the map
In the console, it just says "Null reference exception" repeatedly
I think this could partially be due to the Dios the enemies spawned with this wave
are there any console commands we can use to advance the wave despite being bugged?

I got stuck here on the moon stage, can't get myself out, don't want to enable cheats bc I'm trying to get my Monsoon Railgunner skin
I was trying to jump onto the top of one of the walls on the 3rd from the left island (the second one that can spawn item swap pools) and missed, and fell straight down into this gap
I just played Simulacrum with a friend and when it came to choosing an item 2 times I got an item which I did not choose and was not on the selection menu.
Using Trophy Hunter's Tricorn to kill the lava worm, make sometimes the treasure inacessible(don't even appear)
using railgunner's freeze ultimate on mithrix' 2nd phase execute right after slam skipped his third phase
So randomly when teleporting to another stage my game will turn black, the ui and buttons still work and I’m in the area I just can’t see, been happening for a bit now but I’m not sure what causes it yet. (Ruined a few monsoon runs

Not sure if this is a bug or intended, but when I beat eclipse 8 for the first time on a survivor I didn't get the gold badges. You need to win on eclipse 8 twice to get the gold badges
The Volcanic Egg vortex doesn't stay with the player

On many skills, which are on the right mouse button, does not work auto-attack. Broken "Charged Nano-Bomb" and "Cast Nano-Spear" in the character Artificer (before they were automatically fired at maximum charge and immediately began charging the next projectile), "Phase Round" in commandos. UPD. broken not only skills, but also some items. When MUL-T uses Auto-Nailgun, "Shuriken" item fires only one projectile. In other words, he has no auto-attack like other characters, and given the specifics of shooting with the Auto-Nailgun, it becomes impossible to quickly and efficiently release all projectiles.

Why when playing as a commando and selecting the "Phase Blast" skill I can just press both firing buttons and not think about anything else, dealing normal damage and not doing unnecessary mechanical work. All "Backup Magazine" discharges automatically. If the skill recovers, it automatically fires again. And that's convenient. But at the same time, selecting the skill "Phase Round" I have to do every shot manually. Besides, in theory, I can speed up my shooting to the point where I won't have time to mechanically click as fast as the game itself would do. And that's not to mention the Artificer character who just became frustrating to play, because charging each sphere manually and adjusting to the constantly changing rate of charge is inconvenient and inefficient.
M2: it was done to prevent the insta-relaunch thing which has been annoying for many players since EA

This is a very bullshit explanation. Because in the example of Commando, one skill has an auto-attack, and the second similar skill does not. Shuriken also works very strangely and selectively. Why the robot when you activate the fire is released only one, but the character commando, Railgunner and many others surricenes are discharged all at once. Now it all looks like it's working like an asshole or broken. And yes, I apologize for the translator. I hope my thoughts are coming through correctly.

I haven't played for quite a long time, but I never noticed anything like this before. Previously, all the characters all worked the same way except for some very specific things. The skill "Blast Canister" in the character "MUL-T" does not have auto-attack, it includes aiming, the character "REX" also includes aiming on the skills. There was not and can not be auto-attack and it is logical. In all other cases, auto-attack was turned on wherever possible. At the moment it is somewhere it works and somewhere it does not, and the selection of skills and characters to do so is very strange. Again, on the example of commandos clearly shows a complete lack of logic in this. Well, and with shuriken, too, clearly something is wrong. I really hope that most of the above are really bugs and they will be fixed.
Void portal won't spawn after petting the frog for 50+times
Fancy already told you how things are, it was like that since introduction basically, but arti specifically was changed due to frequent request. It makes sense to be frustated for rapidly discharging second and any +1 shot of powerful nanobomb that wasn't even charged.
And no such thing happens with commando, as his m2 doesn't go as strategic powerful, long charging ability with high cd that you need to lead and account for drop. Therefore no frustration of sending +1–10 into dead target.
I agree, there's some inconsistency between how skills action. But that's just deeper knowledge and a step on a ladder of learning the character. You simply became better at playing the game and now notice minor details.
Honestly, the shuriken issue you describe isn't an misdesign or bug, it does what it says.
If you just used to spraying nailgun on mult, then its just your preference. Because nailgun actually have two firing modes, machinegun and shotgun. You just prefere machinegun more and that's like complaining that acrid does not proc 5 dagger bleeds per swing, because he have claws and therefore daggers bugged. Or engi does not getting hp and coins from his turrets infusion and crown/stack of coins.
It's logical, but that's not the design.

Void barnacles tend to spawn in weird places, sometimes on trees and inside terrain. Get far away and scan the area for pointers.

The arrows pointing to the last 3 void infestors was a step in the right direction, but Void infestors sometimes all the time late game glitch out and don't appear after their host is killed. Sometimes the "arrow" points to an perma-dead corpse, other times there is no arrow/model pointed at

When I try and bind M2 to Forward and Backwards to D, the game removes the previous keybind. It seems to not allow me to place the forward and backward binds on different devices. In other games this usually isn't an issue, but it's so niche it's understandable if you don't address it.

Okay, I get it. I had a hunch that the shuriken was attached to a shotgun, but it might as well have been attached to a machine gun. A huge number of characters have all the shurikens released in a couple of seconds. That seems odd. And I remember this problem in arti. And while it annoyed me, I think it's gotten worse now, especially in the later stages of the game. I guess I just got too used to it. But that doesn't explain why commandos have two similar skills with the same recovery time working differently. Also removed is the auto-attack of the Akrid character's Neurotoxin skill. Does it also come as a strategically powerful, long-charging skill with high cd? )

Hello, did not found how to leave this on wiki, so came here, i have found a funny interaction between 2 items. Egocentrism and Benethic Bloom. In case someone dosent know what they do:
Egocentrism - transforms random item in your item pool into another copy of Egocentrism every minute
Benethic Bloom - at the start of each stage transforms randomly selected 3 stacks of uncommon/common items into a 1 tier higher rarity stacks of items (corrupts all 57 leaf clovers into itself, increasing amount of stacks chosen by 3)
I am not sure which item interaction is actually bugged. Egocentrism took my Benethic bloom (i had only one of this item), works as intended. However at the start of next stage (entered the Bazaar to be exact) benethic bloom effect still worked, giving me another cloverm which then got corrupted into another benethic bloom, resulting in me keeping 1 stack of benethic bloom. (currently trying to repeat the scenario)
i believe its based on attack speed
using the volcanic egg (I'm playing as huntress) still has the player model enabled a fair amount of times. The actual volcanic egg thing goes way faster than where the camera is so it'll often go way ahead of where you actually are
You can also blink through the map as huntress occasionally which is annoying when you're trying to evade an enemy and end up going through the map and getting fall damage
not sure if either of these are supposed to be intentional but I can only assume they aren't

after doing simulacrum on monsoon the enemies implemented Dio's best friend in their item pool after they all died they were still registered for the "enemy remaining" counter but there was no enemies avaible, this caused us to lose the game as the circle closed and nothing was there to kill except for the "21 enemies remaining" bar on the top right , you might guess that we were pretty bumped out about it
my friend was spectating a game and when joining the next round he had no character and when we entered the game, he was a larva enemy, and could play the larva as if it was a character. I have no idea why this is and nobody was using mods.

Engineer's carbonizer turrets wont shoot Voidling unless they are in a very specific spot beneath him, I encountered this personally. Others have told me his Gauss turrets also have the same issue. Makes the boss fight almost impossible with solo engineer.
Not entirely sure if this is a bug or more of an oversight of how the turrets work

I was playing a modded run and had a void seed event. The teleporter was in the void seed bubble, but there was one enemy left that I couldn't find, and the marking system didn't work. In other words, I couldn't collapse the seed and move on.

Have you interacted with the obelisk yet? It only spawns once you do that

Came to report that engineers turrets have don't target/have enough range to target the voidling and its the first thing I see lol. I was using the mobile turrets by the way.
I encountered this issue too. I was thinking maybe they could make it so that the legs are targetable? Of course I wasn't actually in the arena long enough to remember if you can even damage it from the legs.
Dio's Best Friend has an unintended interaction with Growth enemies and Simulacrum; the healing orb summoned after the enemy dies, since it can be killed, ends up getting revived because it inherits Dio's Best Friend from the item pool in Void Fields and Simulacrum. It's especially problematic in Simulacrum because the revived orbs don't count towards being defeated after being revived and causing a healing explosion a second time. this results in purgatory where the player is doomed to die, as seen here.

eve nghosted enemies through happiest mask can pick them up for you. they can also pick up money clumps, healing orbs, and i think even spare amo packages

random crashes even when the game is running well and isn't using a lot of resources, rejoining a game works half of the time
If a void touched gup spawns as a part of a void seed, it's geeps and gips will be counted as void touched as well even if they're completely normal. This means that they'll contribute to the enemies that are required to be killed in order to collapse the void seed despite being normal enemies.
and on a different note, sky meadows seriously needs a killbox specifically for enemies as a part of its sky box, because xi constructs are able to stay in the sky box and just sit there until you miraculously kill it or go to the artifact portal. this used to be a problem with solus control units and i haven't had an issue with them getting stuck in the skybox since around the anniversary update, but it looks like xi constructs have taken their place as that flying enemy that refuses to die in very specific circumstances

Hi there, hoping to get some help with this issue, and hoping I didn't do a dumb and toggle something I shouldn't have.
Since I've started playing the expansion I've seen transparent meshes over a bunch of doorways. The images I'm linking aren't all of them, but give an idea. They're probably trigger volumes that are visible somehow. Not gamebreaking, but a little annoying, especially with the one on the last level which is entirely opaque from the side going up the ramp

however, the checkbox was removed from the settings screen (on accident, presumably), so you have to go into [Risk of Rain 2\Risk of Rain 2_data\Config\Config.cfg] (Open the Config.cfg file with notepad). There, look for the line {r_softparticles 0;} and change that 0 into a 1, then save the file and reboot the game

wow it maybe related network. because when I recently joined as a non-host, I felt the grapple was weird.
Playing through simulacrum as REX and everything was fine until I got into a wave with artifact of soul, the wisps were being rooted as soon as they spawned despite not being in the root zone, Game shortly after permanently froze.

Sometimes when you spawn in as Captain, both beacons will just be unavailable even though you haven't used them. You can see it in the screenshot above, but I've also have encountered this before in Simulacrum.

i know Eulogy affects items via evolution/void fields but i dont know if Scav inventories can be affected (both on spawn or scavenge)

Multiplayer, I played Void Fiend and another player was Commando. Commando got Spinel tonic and would receive about 30+ afflictions, for some reason once the commando died, I almost immediately after received those afflictions. In every following stage I would start out normal, but after the first transformation I would permanently receive those afflictions again until the stage ended, on the next stage the same thing would happen.
i found an similar issue where i played with a friend and the small chest on the first stage only cost 25 Gold on Monsoon instead of 34 Gold. After couple stages we also only got 1 Shipping Request Form. Even when we both got the Shipping Request Form. It seems the game only recognize only 1 player instead of 2
sometimes when using railgunner's R, it'll randomly shoot you into the sky for no apparent reason

In Eclipse, the only way to access the voidling is through petting the frog which brings you straight to the planetarium, portals that bring you to the void locus are disabled entirely.

Rejoining in the most recent update of the game does not work whatsoever. Trying to rejoin mid-stage will result in a black screen that can only be paused and unpaused. Either by being lucky or by waiting for a stage transition, it is possible to rejoin, but only as a spectator. This is honestly the worst thing I’ve encountered thus far.
I'm unsure, but I believe the devs just want eclipse climbs to exclusively be done via beating mithrix for an actual "victory" and have voidling be as an optional extra boss
so uh voidling didnt respawn after phase 1 and the fog didnt happen

Cant have a proper proof, but i'm 99.9% sure that using the utility skill of uncorrupted void fiend right before teleporting leaves an object that constantly plays the looping sound of the utility skill
Apparently there's a really obvious bug with Wake of Vultures and the EliteHaunted/EliteEarth/EliteVoid buffs.
Since those buffs have item behaviours added during "OnInventoryChanged()" their elite effects might not appear at all when you get the buff from Wake of Vulture or they stick around until you pick up another item after the buff has ended.

I've just found a spot on Sulfur Pools which effectively soft locked me from progressing as I got stuck under a bit of the terrain...
I was loader and shifted under it and then was unable to leave, not by M2, shift, R or anything so had to abandon the run, not an special run but annoying nonetheless.
was playing multiplayer, friend hit the voidling and it just went flying of in a random direction, died and teleported to the next zone, we stayed behind but cant get there because we didnt get a rift and got stuck
Not sure if this is considered a bug, but when a void seed spawns by the flying rocks in Sky Meadows, the rocks can shoot Lesser Wisps miles away from the map and make it impossible to finish

When you "zoom in" with your secondary skill as the Railgunner, the bustling fungus cancels and does not proc again until you unzoom.
Railgunner’s mines do not display VFX or charge-up audio in multiplayer unless Railgunner is the host.
Ending a multiplayer run in Eclipse kicks player 2 and returns you to the multiplayer menu.

Yall I just got the weirdest bug. Doing void feind eclipse 2. Fighting mithrix get to final , I have the mini solution probe yellow they are hitting him during the animation right before he ||steals your items|| and then he just didn't ||steal my items|| he didn't even do the animation, they were barely even doing damage.
mithrix is vulnerable for a couple frames when he goes to the centre. During which you can deal damage and stagger him (if it is timed right), completely skipping the item steal.
it is well known by the devs and they dont intend to fix it

the one way barrier around the mithrix arena has a tiny chunk that goes outside one of the pillars, and a player can fit in it and get stuck, but it doesnt count as close enough to start the mithrix fight so you get softlocked
the only way to get out is an eccentric vase tunnel from yourself or a teammate

Hey guys! I seem to have found game breaking bug for simulacrum. It’s happened for two runs now where the monsters have dio’s, and in the later stages when there’s a lot spawning, after killing everything the monster counter is stuck on a number like “37 monsters remaining” and it ends your run because the circle closes and nothing actually dies because it doesn’t actually exist. I was at wave 102 when it first happened, then wave 57 when it happened a few runs later.

When playing acrid with blight (idk about poison, I don't use it), on stage 5, where the parent mob spawns, when applying blight to the parent before it teleports causes it's body to morph similar as the picture, and the little balls (idk what else to call them) move around too, this stays up until the blight stack goes away, but if the parent dies with blight on it, then its corpse will look like this too
So I kinda turned myself into the larva in vanilla somehow? Joined an ongoing game through an invite. When the ongoing game finished, selected MUL-T and didnt spawn. Tried to disconnect then join back in while they are on stage 1 but this time everything broke, even the character models were gone. Names were gone and items disappeared. After finishing the stage and going to the lunar shop, I turned into Larva for some reason and now I am playing as the smol bug. Also the tab broke.

Not really a bug, it’s just the way the ai works. They are attacking you because you hurt them in some way, like mired urn but it can be for a wide variety of stuff

forgot to get a screenshot but when happiest mask spawns a clay dunestrider, his siphon attack still hurts you & allies... (destroyed all of my drones at once!!) if this is intentional, it sucks, bc mask is already a disappointing red item

Hey, I found some issue with wetland aspect. As engi, I accidently falled from edge of... um,stone frame which was near nkuhanas cave. I was teleported to the nearby ground, but character somehow saved his boost, and I was pushed back like 2 or 3 times, before tped to the center of map with 1 health remained. Not game breaking, but pretty annoying to deal with, I discovered it before,but thought that was a skill issue, but it happened again.
UPD: I was sprinting, and knockback was in the same direction
And, one off topic question. Why do I several times got killed by planet, while staying on low hp. Like, 10 hp remaining, all enemies are dead, and no projectiles around, but I randomly die with log planet killed you. Intended?

If you are playing in a lobby where you aren’t host, grabbing bens raincoat with strides of heresy will give you a 50% slow debuff. It’ll last the whole game. You’ll get a false sense of hope when you spawn without the debuff but right when you use strides you’ll get it again. Definitely a pain.
I don’t think it matters what character you are playing. I was playing mul-t when it happened but I’ve seen it happen to a void fiend and mercenary player. I’m not sure if it’s strides exactly or if it’s only an issue with bens raincoat.
So Void Reaver exploding a Void infested enemy thats part of the void seed event doesn't count it as being destroyed. All that it leaves with the arrow marker is the place where it died with no enemy there
A lesser bug but something that might still kill players if Artifact of Chaos is enabled: Plasma Shrimp can sometimes fire a shot that targets the user themselves. Not sure if it's to do with a target that is shot at, dying too, but i've seen it multiple times as commando, and it seems easy to recreate.
i suspect that has something to do with the fact shrimp cant re-target something if the original target dies, and one just being fired might cause a colission with the survivor
I keep having this bug with the void seeds where if i'm on a God run and wipe things out instantly, it says there's 1 monster left but there is nothing on the stage. I don't even have the purple arrow indicators. It sucks because it locks a good portion of the loot on the stage permanently

i'm assuming probably along the same cause of issue, but it also happens when you kill elites. their buffs stay behind forever but no monsters. I've noticed it with Blazing and Celestine elites. For blazing ones, there is just a permanent fire pool where they died and for Celestine their bubble stays and still works.

yes but they would appear on screen with a purple arrow + dot when you see them, there's just nothing appearing. Plus if there's no other target for a firework to ladn on they wouldhave died

Sometimes spawning into a stage as captain makes you unable to use your beacons. You need to wait until the stage is over to maybe use them next stage if the bug doesn’t happen again

Had an issue with Simulacrum where 8 enemies were left, but none were visible, even focus began to falter, nothing was taking damage from the void. Missiles and turrets did not target anything. When I spawned a gummy, it acted out by spinning in circles while shooting and throwing abilities at nothing, very much unlike any others I've seen.
unsure if this is a bug or not, but it happens to me almost every time I go to the moon. 30+ airborne lunar chimera spawn on me at once. Doesn't matter if im 25 minutes in a run, or if im at 60+ minutes. Definitely seems unreal at times.

I've been having huge problems on transcontinental wired multiplayer connections in RoR2 that don't happen with any other games. A combination of lag and clientside prediction failures / desynchronization, e.g. dying but being able to start the teleporter, not being able to hit enemies, things travelling through walls, etc.
In Wireshark traffic seems to be on UDP port 4380 with a Valve Corporation IP, seems like Steamworks packet relay.
These issues did not occur on local area connections or for close proximity players. All of these issues were worked around with the dedicated server, which showed perfect playability.
Is there a way to fix this for lobbies? The workaround is OK but does require a server to be up constantly

Getting killed in simulacrum because you are playing captain (a low mobility character) and the focus takes a path you literally cannot follow really sucks
I'm just assuming what I'm about to say is a bug because it has never happened to me before. I'm currently in a simulacrum game. I assume the gist of the flying porpl crab is to relocate you and allow you to get more items by setting itself up in a new zone, or wandering near chests to have easier access towards new chests. When in Rallypoint Delta, there is a chance that the crab spawns inside the big metal shipping containers. When I first played simulacrum, the crabb dud could go through walls, which was fine with me, but now he can't. The Issue is that because he can no longer go through walls, my location is now restricted to being in the proximity of the crabbybois metal shipping container prison. Just make him go through walls, made it more difficult. The "bug" is not affecting my game as a whole, it's just boring being in the same spot for 10 waves straight. (Also, I can just stay in the container and my beetle poopguard can take aggro, so im safe and monsters die to suffocating zone.)

I just experienced a bug where the Void Fiend with a Ben's Raincoat gains the debuff from using the Corrupted M1 attack permanently. The debuff persisted whether I was in the corrupted form or not. Even scrapping the Ben's Raincoat on the stage did not get rid of the debuff. However, the debuff stopped being permanent after moving to the next stage without a Ben's Raincoat.
My friend got permanently crippled by Pillar of Design. I was hosting the game and could not see the blue cripple effect on his model, but he could, and was crippled for the rest of our game.
Hello devs, I was doing Eclipse run with my buddy for 90 minutes, went to Mithrix and straight to the frog to open the void portal, but it didn't trigger any portal.
Also Captain beacons sometime doesn't work and has no charges after creating a new game, needing to restart and make a new one, thats all ty.

So sometimes, void wisps can get caught by the flying rocks in sky meadow, why makes it pretty much impossible to reach them because they're just miles away.

I picked up the Zoea in the Simulacrum & the next wave couldn't finish; I assume some enemies got voided, as no pings for their position appeared.

DLC Item Glitch:
I have been messing around in Simulacrum on drizzle because I kinda suck at the game but wanted to see how far I could push each character on each difficulty. I got myself a Benthic Bloom and eventually had enough reds to scrap some to make more Benthic Bloom's once I found a 57 Leaf Clover Printer. (total 68 or about enough to change every item i had in my possession all the way to legendary on the next stage) I've cycled about 3-4 more times to the next stage with around a new 30+ different items but nothing is changing into the Spare Drone Parts Legendary Item. I'm assuming its a bug because I know I've been able to get it in other game modes and other games.

With a friend we had a problem in game, we had the metamorphosis artefact and i have the dlc but he doesnt, but metamorphosis still gave him the railgunner, so he was dead at the beginning of the stage (and when i died, the game didn't finish, i guess it thought my friend was still alive)

Spare Drone Parts is blacklisted in Simu, I guess because there's no drones so it'd be partially worse but yu just can't get it, any item that is blacklisted for Simu will appear as "locked" for command.

(SoTV) After teleporting via the deep void portal spawned by the glass frog, it's possible to die from the moon detonation... despite not even being on the moon. This seems REALLY easy to replicate, as the clip you see was only my first attempt at recreating the glitch on vanilla.
Easiest fix would surely be to just stop the timer the moment you hit E on the void portal and the money to EXP conversion starts. Would make enough sense to stop it there lore-wise too, as the timer is presumably counting down to the moment you're too late to possibly get the rescue ship out of range in time.

Huh...? That's not what I'm saying at all! There's a difference between gameplay and story segregation preventing bullshit and gameplay and story segregation being an excuse for bullshit. In the case of lemurians, it's an acceptable break from reality because it's what makes the game fun in the first place. We don't know the population of lemurians on the planet, so there very well could be 8 billion for all we know or care. If someone goes out of their way to kill more than would be physically possible or plausible to fit on a planet, that's when you say "whatever it's a video game don't care so much".
This situation here is the game, HUD, and story just lying to us because the person coding the moon detonation sequence never thought it pertinent to check whether the player is using a teleporter or not before killing them, and fair enough because that wasn't even possible before SoTV was made. And that's fine, I don't really blame developers for letting bugs slip through because this stuff is difficult to get right as developers are only humans, but you can't argue there's a reason for it to be intentional.
In fact, we saw exactly what you're describing in the early access versions. There used to be a point where the planet would just stop sending stuff after you because you reached a difficulty level where the spawning director thought overloading worms were "too easy" to spawn anymore, basically stopping it from spawning anything at all, and making every level empty. The developers came up with a half-joking "explanation" that the entire planet was scared of you past that point, but said explanation didn't excuse that happening. That point was actually very easily reachable, and that actually harmed the player's experience, so the developers swiftly fixed it by adding malachite and celestine elites. Despite this unintended behavior potentially having a story explanation, they fixed it because it improved the player experience. That's how that works.

did my own testing and can confirm that aqueduct is funky when it comes to the recycler. No other stages have this interaction, including hidden stages, (unless there's one I missed).
Fairly certain that flamethrower cancel is intentional. Using her secondary or utility also cancel it.
darn, that sucks. I wish it didnt do that, i hope it's just a bug they never fixed cause it feels kinda bad to lose it despite the low cooldown
I'm sure you could throw a small suggestion into #ror2-feedback-and-ideas for an option to disable sprint cancelling for it. No guarantees it'll get in, but it's worth a shot.

to piggyback off this, I was playing Heretic in multiplayer and my own item/ability effects appeared to hit me visually, but I received no damage or other ill effects.
If u take the red item that removes the bad efects of you, with mul-T or void fiend the slow effect dont dissapear (changing form or using alternative R)
so umbra captain still isn’t dropping the microbots

not sure if this is known but on simulacrum if the monsters get dios best friend and gups spawn when they split the game will still think that they are alive and the zone will close causing you to die, because the game believes the revived large and medium gups are still alive when the do not actually revive
the text of Railgunner's Reload is incorrect, should either be 'boost by 50%' or 'boost by 500%'

the second issue occurs when a boss spawns inside of terrain and suffocates instantly. very rare occurance but it can happen. another cause is that the directors dont have enough credits to even spawn a boss according to the difficulty level, but this usually only happens very late into the game
fuel array deals damage to everyone iirc
was on stage 6 and the bosses spawned normally yet item still dropped
and there wasn't sac on to make a single boss suffocating drop an item

ok but this happened to me as well. the catch being that I literally went to the planetarium, with defeat ui on my screen. I could move. I could use abilities. voidling spawned. I fought them. I died because I couldn't move my camera

Hi, I've seen this bug where the Acrid venom/poison particles on enemies become huge and start flickering all over the place like crazy. Both me and a friend have seen this.
Also I get the Egg equipment and when I use it, the three flying dots fly away from my characters actual position in the game.
Another one is, my friend was not visible during a whole level of simulacrum, only their attacks and projectiles where visible, but even later in the level that stopped too. After entering the portal to the next level it was all back to normal.
I dont know how helpful this will be to Hopoo for fixing the crash on launch bug, but ive got these 6 crash reports in a zip here for you:

mountain shrines spawn one boss as a boss and another as a regular enemy.

When spawning in distant roost as captain, you start with no beacons to deploy. I noticed it when trying to use one.
there's an extremely minor bug in the logbook with N'kuhana's Opinion where it will not remove the [NEW] tag on it if you inspect it, some people on steam encountered this too
A void enemy was sent flying off the map, and now I can't kill him, a normal enemy is okay but void enemy should be killed if they leave the map, so now I can't rescue the void seeds content
I'm not sure if it's a bug or not. But wins in Eclipse should count as wins on the stats page.
there doesn't seem to be an arrow indicator for the final void monster on this stage and it's nowhere to be seen either. this also happened on a previous stage with a void seed during this same run
Was there a patch to prevent rex from taking permanent damage on his abilities in eclipse 8? I think something got that part of the patch removed because I think it's also happening to blood pillars at mithrix as well

After picking up benthic bloom as void fiend, every time I come out of the corrupted form, I get a permany 50% movement speed debuff (even with bens raincoat and trying to clear it using his movement ability). Only way to clear it is by dying and respawning

Risk of Rain 2 now crashes on open for me. The changes I made since the last successful launch were:
- Set 1080p display to primary (4k display set to secondary)
- Set DPI scaling on the risk of rain 2 executable back to default (no box checked)
It will now reliably crash on open and it will never successfully open as long as I have DPI scaling off.
Here is a zip of my most recent crash folder.
Check #ror2-tech-support 's pinned messages for details about DPI-related crashes. Also, sometimes additional monitors can cause issues with some drivers
There are five such folders in the crashes directory because I wanted to be sure.
@weary dune I know how to fix it, I'm reporting it because I believe it's reportable as a bug and I know how to reliably make it happen
Though I looked through the pins and I'm having trouble finding anything specific to DPI.
After setting DPI scaling (correctly), the game launches, but it launches on my 4K monitor (which is something I can fix, I think) instead of the 1080p monitor it was supposed to be on (fullscreen, obviously, since you already know this is a Unity bug)
First found out about this via Hardspace Shipbreaker where the solution I just gave was recommended, found out it also affects Get In The Car Loser and presumably all other Unity games, even ones that don't use fullscreen (sometimes the window has a blank region covering 3/4 of the window if DPI settings are incorrect)

Captian if he has hooks of heresy (secondary replacement sorry if i got name wrong) can't place his m2 beacon as it will consume the charge and just make you use the hooks of heresy ability, don't know if this is an intended interaction but very annoying if not
upon further inspection the bug only seems to occur when placing beacon using the primary button first, so doesn't seem to be intended at all

Friend’s perspective of really strange thing happening to me. Seems I was respawning inside the shrine of chance and there was no floor underneath?

While playing without the dlc to get an acrid unlock, I got 3 dlc enemies (I had artifact of dissonance on) the video shows the 3 instances (I used metamorphosis to switch to captain) I will note that I had left the game on for a total of 2 days straight with my computer in sleep mode for this run.

Not a bug, but unintended mechanic.
Players that do not have the dlc are not forbidden to play it. All dlc content is there for everyone. It's just forbidden to sart it, if you have a friend who owns dlc they can host dlc game for you, and you would get everything, but ability to read logbook or play dlc characters.
Dissonance alters world spawn and it happens that dews left those enemy unchanged.
if he doesnt want to play the dlc it shouldn't do that lol

Me and my friend tried him out today to unlock gestures and both times his game crashed at random moments with him going through the ground

i was watching a friend play heretic and i noticed his gummy clone from gooboo jr. didnt do anything but walk around like it had no abilities. i had him throw at mithrix and not do anything just to see and it did nothing and died from the boss
Simulacrum with sacrifice enabled is bugged. Sacrifice is supposed to cut interactable credits in half, but it does this before simulacrum overrides it with its own amount so simulacrum gets the full interactable credits (which results in loads of printers every stage)

Had a bug last night where as acrid when you are flying up the jump pads for the mithrix fight, if you use your utility on the way up you will clip into the mithrix bubble and get stuck, I was stuck there for like 6 minutes.

I feel like this is my 5th time asking the same question here in the past 2 years. I made a huge detailed list of fixes, passed it to someone who "allegedly" worked in gearbox, then year later sent it to hopoo email, and now the mistakes are still there, with more added thanks to the DLC seemingly re-doing some item names and whatnot.
As Mul-t with Power Mode, the speed debuff was permanent for the whole level after using it once. I suspect it had something to do with me having Ben's Raincoat. I was also playing multiplayer, not as the host.
Try and replicate it in single player and in multiplayer as a host with 1 player (only you)

Captain's Defensive Microbots are not available to collect for the logbook. I understand that the usual way to obtain them is through the artifact of Vengeance, but the Umbra of Captain never drops the Microbots, even when that is the only item you are carrying.

i get random fps drops. for a few minutes, the frames are fine and smooth, but then it gets horrible and i get like 10-20 frames, then again it goes back to normal, and it repeats.
Not sure if this is a feedback thing or a bug reports thing but Xi Constructs not having collision means Acrid's Utilities pass right through them
Hey. We've been running into a recurrent issue where the game freezes for one or more players. Performance shouldn't be the problem- this has happened several times even after clearing the teleporter event and killing all enemies. It also seems to happen whether we run the game with mods or not. We've also verified the integrity of game files and still, no luck. Has anybody else run into this issue?

I'm not sure if this was intentional but Acrid's blight jump (Shift) doesn't register on the Xi construct you just fly right through which I find is a little silly to fight against with acrid

i transformed into heretic, found there was a clone of myself, stopped to take a screenshot because haha funny but then it died to negative health regen and killed me too
so tried to replicate the glitch, huntress eclipse 8, and it happened again. If i left before the negative regen killed it let me leave, though it spectated the clone for a moment. very weird bug
does anyone know about an issue where the void fiend's void bar is stuck at a threshold or starts at an incorrect threshold. In my friends run it is set to a 22% threshold and builds up from there I have a picture to go along with it
out of curiosity, has the issue come up for anyone else that run logs are disappearing from the logbook? not a big issue by all means but its still nice to see the runs I did

Hey so I was trying to complete the captain: smushed achievement, and I couldn't drop beacons when it came time to end the run. I saw that console used to have an issue with not being able to drop beacons on commencement- and with dying with dio being a workaround- I actually think the opposite of this might have happened, but I can't say for sure. I can pretty confidently say that I never dropped either of my beacons up to this point, so I wanted to drop this by in case it hadn't come up before.
