bug on the new stage 3 playing with 2 other friends and they spawned in a gap under the map - cant do anything
When booting the game, I am stuck on this screen without any movement on the loading bar. This also happen when disabling the DLC via Steam, but the issue did not occur before the DLC was purchased and the patch was installed. I have verified integrity of files, restarted Steam, and restarted my PC, but the issue persists. https://imgur.com/vlIoC9D
Environment Log collection for Syphoned Forest still refers to it as Snowy Forest.
game not loading getting stuck at the black screen
Railgunner: Marksman, is bugged and will not complete no matter the amount of weak spots hit consecutively.
There's jittering in this part of the map where 2 zones appear to collide.
you can clearly see it on the outline of the rock but it's way more noticeable while moving the camera
wouldnt say this is a huge bug but still, terminal in the terrain and cant see the options

bug: i cant delete profiles. from in-game i press delete. asks me if im sure, i say yes delete. but the profile still exists

i just had the focus in the Simulacrum walk off the end of the map
Momentum no longer resets when being flung off the stage, when returning to the stage you get flung off again from the previous momentum.

you need at least 2 profiles
You can place turrets on the "assessment focus" in the simulacrum while it's moving. Then the turrets simply float. I assume this was not intended.
I think this is a bug? as railgunner atleast I'm standing still and have fungus but shooting disables the fungus? was this a change I didn't notice?
Does shooting make railgunner move at all?
now that im thinking on it more maybe the focus simply went vertically up a wall where there was somewhere to be but I was artificer so I didnt have a way fast enough to go vertically

My friend was shown that I died, when I was picking up items in the chat there were question marks (on his side) and he can see projectilesю

ignition tank also increases the time you burn, i think this might be a bug

using railgunners scope in shot also counts as their "primary skill" which will also (new item) ||activate shuriken on use||
If you get visions of heresy on sniper, scoping in sets the amount of charges your m1 has from 12 to 1, and when you unscope you're left with 1 charge of M1...

visuals for volcanic egg go haywire after a couple seconds, actual position and effect is unchanged as far as I can tell. The glow from will-o-the-wisp shows where my actual position is
when you fall from the map the game is keeping the momentum from the fall when you pop back into the map
this can cause one to be stuck spawning and falling from the map
Not sure if it's meant to be this way or not, but Lysate Cell gives engineer more turret charges, but only lets him place one extra turret. Currently have four charges, but placing 3 max.

after playing one run after getting dlc, closed game and now it wont reopen
Also I did wave 50 in simulacrum and did not get the survivor.
Was on Wave 50 of Simulacrum and the counter bugged out seems it was due to dio's best friend that revived the enemies thus forcing the area to close and killing me

volcanic egg lets you fly around forever
The game just crashes since i've downloaded the dlc
So just got home, downloaded the dlc and when i booted up the game and selected railgunner in the singleplayer screen the game just froze and crashed. After a couple more tried i got into the game and after 1-2 seconds of being ingame it just froze and crashed again.
I've tried verifying file integrity and restarting my pc but it didn't work.
Anyone else experiencing the same problem or is it just me?

The game ran perfectly fine on 30fps locked before but not just crashes

We have encountered a bug:
- the dlc owner was playing with the railgunner
- at stage 1 he did not render for the other players, and his health bar appeared empty
- he could pick up items, but the other players would see his name as '???' in the chat
- his attacks did load in from his exact position, just the character could not be seen
i have that problem but cant start game
not sure if this is a bug or a feature of corrupted items, but I'm pretty sure I've never picked an item that would corrupt my fungus as an engineer, nor the others that follow
we have some kind of hard lock situation in simulacrum

Less a bug report and more so an overlook - monsters can have regenerating scrap as one of their items, which doesn't do anything for them
Stopped getting spawns at wave 107 of the simulacrum. The arrows on the left of the screen are bugged and pointing to enemies I killed a couple waves ago
Railgunner does not seem to respond to sensitivity changes. Its a bit too fast at max for me (i play on controller, yeah haha) but lowering it literally does nothing.
I'm entirely unable to play at the moment, as my game launches showing only a small section of the whole screen, in the top left.
I've tried Alt + Enter, and it does nothing. The game is running at my native res, 3840 x 2160, but I just don't get to see all of it.
Verifying files and setting a custom launch resolution in steam don't work either
any ideas on how to fix?
Had that happen myself but we both owned dlc. They were also railgunner and had the same interactions

(Singleplayer) When using the Volcanic Egg and moving the camera, the flame orbs and camera become detached

me and a friend (me dead, him alive) tried proceeding after stage 5 by interacting with the teleporter. instead of the teleporting sequence commencing, nothing happened and the teleporter is no longer interactable. the void seed was present and uncleared

Same scenario here. 2 player simulacrum, Dio as the wave 50 item. Counter said 9 enemies left but nowhere to be seen. We tried to outheal them with bungus at the end (in case they did exist but very far) without success. I also had Happiest Mask, in case that matters (only item I can think of that would mess up the counter with Dio).
Augment of Kin in the Simulacrum used the Dissonance icon instead of Kin.

In multiplayer, after the third stage of the Void Shop, I get a black screen. Then I can't join the game. Console spams with NullReferenceException. Restarting the game does not help. Files integrity was checked.

on wave 50 of simulacrum, there was a bug where it said 4 enemies remaining, yet there were no enemies, no arrows, and we couldn't do anything and died from the zone shrinking

I did search, sorry if this is a dupe: Railgunner's stock M2, M99 Sniper, DOES work with Backup Magazines, but has a bug wherein the first Backup Magazine brings the charges available to 1, not 2, making it seem like it doesn't work.
Would love to even be able to play but it doesn't even start up even after several uninstall install cycles

Got a bug on stage 35 in the simulacrum where I can't start the next round because the purple pod thing is clipped inside the ground
friends are saying enemies despawn still after each void fields wave, but none of the enemies are despawning after each wave for me. maybe because the first monster that appeared was a dlc/not pre-existing monster?? 
Anybody else getting a huge forward momentum when respawning from a fall off the map? I've only played Railgunner so far so I don't know if it's with every surviver
not sure if this is a bug, i've died multiple times to fire damage that just doesn't stop for at least 20 seconds, i wasn't continuing to get hit

If you go to the prismatic trial lobby and then you create a multiplayer lobby you keep the prismatic trial configuration

That is not what Dissonance does, and that is not the icon for dissonance either. Also, I was not granted an equipment like this seems to claim.

okay apparently this only happens with gup, afaik. everything else despawns after each wave. 
The non-fullscreen window always appears off-center, which has been fine, but now the game won't let me move my mouse outside and up to the title bar.
Current workaround is tabbing to a small window and clicking the title bar in the background, but it'd be nice if the game weren't so selfish with my mouse (also if I didn't have to fix the alignment every single time I launch).
Correction: It works fine, the charge just isn't immediately granted.
ive could not record, but during my run, several times after firing the captain alternative ultimate, the diablo orbital cannon, the orange ring indicating the strike radius simply disapered, and the projectile never came
ok, so im playing railgunner simulacrum and it's round 18 on abyssal depths, artifact of kin activated and it's been about 3 minutes now with no monsters spawning, i cant interact with the focus so im at a loss of what's going on.
could the enemies have had microbots somehow?
not sure, microbots are the new void purple buff?

i'm not sure, i just know that when mithrix takes items microbots can destroy captain's nuke

Hey, im not sure if its a bug or if im misunderstanding what the challenge wants of me, but the challenge for the secondary skill that requires me to hit 30 weakspots in a row without missing does not register as completed when i reach 30. i dont use anything in between, didnt even move. do i have to hit those 30 without reloading or is it actually a bug rn?

i did so multiple times already and only on wisps who only exist as a complete weakspot no matter where you hit
stone golem launched me outside the map, and now im infinitely falling without spawning back (its in the new map)

my friend is invisible for me most of the maps, when i die he is floating in spawn without his skills, but in his pov everything is normal

The other larger enemies, (Solus, Elders, Bells, Bison, so on), haven't had this happen to them when I apply Poison/Gas/Whatever. I think it's a Parent-specific bug.

the very edges of the wisp don't seem to count as weakzones, at least the bottom bit doesn't from what i've seen
Lost at wave 50 on simulacrum because of enemies getting Dio, the remaining counter said 27 when there were no enemies left. Literally lost due to buggy enemy counter

void damage is catastrophically high (I imagine its a bug considering it does 10% of your health every 2-3 seconds)
I don't have a screenshot but in void simulacrum, sometimes some walls just disappear and clipping through the ground is more easy
I'm also having issues with the 30 in a row thing. Even went and turned on artifacts of kin and swarms to just have beetles, got to 65, and still nothing
Playing with a friend on Railgunner, I'm playing Bandit and he's invisible on my screen (we can see him shooting with left click):

the boss spawned behind this locked new wall that spawns in wetland aspect, i cant reach it by any mean with this mobility
I think that the blazing new enemies are bugged. Their DoT takes a lot of time to go away. This doesn't seems to happen to older enemies.
can vouch for this, I've had cases of extremely long Burn DoT as well
bug : spawned in on distant roost as railgunner, took one of the bouncy geysers, tried to 'concussion device jump' mid-air by throwing one and quickly throwing another, it seemed to break my momentum and send me into an endless loop of falling off the cliff

Repulsion plates don't seem to work with the simulacrum void. Not 100% sure if that's intended cause it doesn't specify anywhere.

when you stack Stone Flux Pauldron You begin to start sliding and when you jump you move backwards with wax quail

Bug: Died as Captain in the simulacrum after going through the infinite portal to the next stage. Upon starting a new run, it said I had used both beacons even though it was wave 1.
Is there a way to fix this?
My friend and I spawned in map one (I was huntress, they were Railgunner) and I could not see them at all. No player, no arrow, I could see their health bar and it was empty. When they picked up chests it said "??? picked up hopoo feather", but I could see their name above their health bar on the left. I can see all of their attacks, but not them.
Killed the Clay Dunestrider on the new 2nd stage using the Trophy Hunter's Tricorn, it did not spawn the item

When a stone fist hit, it would hit again, and again, and again, doing nothing because everything was immune to knockback. If I walked out of the area the overlapping fists would resolve normally.

Green Elite detonations appear to heal the Artifact Containers. I noticed this because I put four keys in and the thing didn't implode. tempsolution for players; don't use commandy stage.
Oddly Shaped Opal visuals will remain until the end of the current stage if the last of its stack by printer/scrapper. doesn't appear to actually apply the armor bonus though.

Reached Wave 107 and game just stopped spawning enemies

reached wave 50 and softlocked, enemies stopped spawning with around 65% of the wave bar filled
they had a dio's best friend for the wave, i feel like it might've been the cause?
Getting flung off the map (i.e by sky meadow rocks) places you onto the ground but with the same momentum you had while being flung so it continually flings players unless they have something to stop movement like an extra jump

also bottled chaos activating egg is buggy
Fireworks and Squid Polyp are disabled in Simulacrum on Command.
Also, the vending machine is disabled on Command in all modes.

probably due to beetle guards, somewhat intended to prevent getting stuck
I just fell into the void and I'm stuck here, my character did not come back to the surface when i fell.
So I had two bugs occur for me in the simalcrum
- When I used a Please Forgive me with an Interstellar Desk Plant it spawned like a million of them and caused my game to lag out hard (I didn't crash though)
- Using a Volcanic Egg somehow locked my movement to be flying 24/7 on the Railgunner. I couldn't attack or use any abilities and reusing the egg didn't fix the issue. I have no idea what caused it or if it was that new lunar item that halves my movement speed or whatnot but it bugged out and it caused me to have to die and lost my progress
railgunner AI is really bad. it wont attack any enemies and just stands still sometimes turning
anyone have any idea why going to the void fields suddenly drops me from 120fps to 2?
I'm starting to get the feeling this expansion had little to no quality assurance testing

Volcanic Egg's camera is broken. The Egg particles fly way faster than your character and thus de-sync from your movements. The character remains at the center of the screen (as they should) and the explosion upon ending/reactivation is still working properly.
grumbling and complaining aside if anyone has any idea on how to make my game not shit itself when entering the void field I'd be grateful

Medkits take away from voidfiends transformation gauge in both forms, do not take medkits for voidfiend right now

Membership card (activated item) doesnt work with equipment drone, cant buy all 3 items from multi shops with it in the drone
When playing the Void Feind and you have the Teapot Bossitem, healing with this item and shooting your weapon somehow makes you lose all your void meter.

Sprinting while falling off of bazaar as Railgunner causes you to be launched in the direction you were facing when you TP back up.
I don't have an image of it, but when on sulfur fields, when standing in a puddle, if you look up and the camera goes under the puddle it causes all enemies and objects like the teleporter to not be rendered (aka when you look up you can't see any pests, only sky)
not sure if bug but genesis loop looks like a seizure factory on the railgunner

Probably bug - scoping in as railgunner with visions sets the charges of visions to 1, every time
On that note, I was playing with a friend earlier and their genesis loop explosion radius wouldn’t go away, so effectively a giant sphere was following them as they were moving around the map.

Anyone else getting a black screen when trying to join multiplayer? Host loads into lobby but guests just see blank screen with cursor, then get kicked after timeout. Changing hosts and networks didn't fix.
looks like any form of healing makes you lose void meter, i tested with medkits, leech seeds, leech equipment, healing drone, etc

Sometimes you get infinitely burned. Assuming it has to do with Ignition, but Ive had it happen after its scrapped.
Only goes away once you get burned again and it goes away
The bug in the cradle can infect your allied units and cause them to attack you. Including your turrets
do visual issues go in bug reports? if so, railgunners secondary alt is unusable

Keep getting a weird bug in simulacrum where our group only gets 1$ per enemy killed
When I had a goat hoof with the rail gunner and then used the shine of order, the leg were that goat hoof was got completely deleted when the goat hoof got removed and changed into something else. like I had no right leg. I have no video proof or pictures because i died right after the glitch happened.

When i played with the new Railgunner, i picked up the tonic item and the particle effect of it heavily obstructed the vision on the RMB scope.

When I’m defeating the voidling as railgunner. Im hiding behind objects to cover. The laser it does a 360 and one shots you, hits me through my cover. Which wouldn’t be a problem usually, but it is now since it one shots me every time 😭
I just don’t know what piece of the environment will cover/protect me or which that will just let me die

Update: When falling off the map in the simulacrum holding any direction before being teleported back will kill you when it tp's you
for example I was in duo and my duo died and he could see the teleporter when he was dead through my pov but I could not
not holding a direction will tp you like normal
I had a smaller thing like that happen, on the snow level some of the trees were invis for him but not for me. But not the teleporter tho

When using the aim (I have not seen the default aim) and killing an imp, the weak spot will stay exposed even after the imp is dead and the death animation is over

A group of us finished wave 50 of simulacrum, and three of us had the dlc one of us didn't, but as soon as we finished it I didn't get the achievement that unlocks void fiend.
killed a Xi Construct at the start of the stage with happiest mask and got its ghost, but at some point after it died three alpha constructs stayed in my minion sidebar and didn't leave during the entire stage even despite other alpha constructs disappearing
forgot to add second picture of the other alpha construct going away
whenever you fall off the stage and spawn back on the ground at the top, you get launched in a random direction with a ton of movement speed, which you are likely to fall off the edge again, and respawn at the top with a ton of movement speed ect.....

MUL-T Bug using the Power Mode option, with rare red Ben's Raincoat. During the Power Mode, the Slow debuff icon disappears as if cleansed but the character is still slowed. When the Power Mode is exited, the Slow debuff is somehow re-applied and remains permanently on the character, even after reactivating and deactivating Power Mode. MUL-T be crawlin 
I'm on wave 50 of Simulacrum and mid-way through the round, enemies just stopped spawning and I can no longer progress. I've spent about 10 minutes just running around inside the protection sphere, but no enemies ever appeared (additionally, the protection sphere never shrunk). This happened immediately after the enemies received a Dio as one of their items, and I'm assuming that's the main cause of this bug.

When I got on my pc to play the dlc, I noticed the main menu is just a blue background, the character selection background is just a glitchy red, and in game there is no hud at all
when spectating a railgunner player, if they hit their reload to early/late the bar doesn't turn dark red for spectators
i went to go play the void fiend and a bunch of the model isnt showing up, and when i went into the graphic settings there wasnt anything about model quality or anything of the sort
and when i went into a run the model still wasnt displaying correctly

(playing on DLC) game said i died on a stage on my boyfriend's pov even though i didnt. for him i was invisible but he could still see my pings but when i picked up items it said stuff like "??? picked up Medkit". seems to have fixed itself once we left the stage though

hi i was playing with some friends and we encounter 2 bugs en the new area of the void first my gf cannot enter the portal after defeating the first phase of the boss and i keep dying and respawning in the parkour before the second phase the boss bc i was being lauched at full speed when i respawn
The model was frozen in the spawn point, but he interacted with the map with no problem. It was only by my perspective
There is a bug related to Korean localization. In multiplayer, if set the language to Korean, huge lag and disconnection occurs. The cause of the bug seems to be the missing } after {1}{2 in the "PLAYER-PICKUP" part of the 'Risk of Rain 2_Data\StreamingAssets\Language\en\output-korean.json' file. Users who use this part by fixing it are not experiencing these bugs.
If you encounter Gup in Void Fields, when the cell completes, all Gups will split instead of disappearing.

About Simulacrum. If you use Sacrifice, the map as absolute tonnes of scrappers and printers. Making getting an idea load out much easier than I believe is intended. And when I say loads, I mean like one every 20 feet. If this is intentional, fair enough, but it feels like its an issue with the chest spawn rate when sacrifice is active in this game mode 🙂 It's kinda broken tbh
Had a bug happen just recently, had to do with the railgunner and her R ability. Got oiled by a pot enemy while my R was charged and somehow that caused the oil slow debuff to stay on for the rest of the stage. Had like 20% movespeed and was really annoying. pls fix
My Simulacrum run died at wave 90, I waited for minutes but nothing happened. I noticed I left some mod files in the game directory so I guess that caused some issues
Some people have the same issue but it could be to do with the mod files

Welp, there is a small frozen-over door in the tunnels within Siphoned Forest. I wedged myself in between them and cannot leave. I have successfully trapped myself with geometry.
my game looks like this when i try to play multiplayer. restarting, uninstalling/reinstalling, verifying, uninstalling dlc etc dont fix it

The secondary weapon of the sniper has some issue with the texture. It often gets in the way.
There also is an increase in multiplayer issue. It feels more laggy than usual and we experienced some disconnection (we're both using fiber). I really like the new content but it's a bit buggy atm.
The lunar portal does not always appear now. I bought it and completed the stage and the orb was still flying around

burn damage lasts far longer than it used to, it seems like an unreasonably long DOT
playing simulacrum and the voids weren't corrupting the new copies of the items I got for some reason. it might just be command tho

My void fiend's model won't load properly:

I had the "give health for money" spawn inside a jumping pad... xD If you want to jump, you have to pay in blood
My friend had a bug where the terrain of the Aphelian Sanctuary was jittering in the simulacrum
Maybe not a bug exactly? But I noticed the new red item ||Symbiotic Scorpion|| does not attach properly to the model, at least on Railgunner. It just floats behind her awkwardly, stuck partway in the backpack. It doesn't move at all with the body movement when looking around.

i just got to wave 50 in the simulacrum game mode and the red item the enemies got was Dio's Best Friend and after killing all the enemies, it said there were 18 left and the safe area shrank to nothing, but there were no enemies to be found so we lost instead of the game continuing to the next round

In the new horde mode, splitting one of the slime enemies in 2 counts as a kill, even if more spawn. This means if you have 1 enemy left and it's a big slime, splitting it will cause the countdown to the next phase to begin even if there are still enemies on screen.
Had an issue where during multiplayer, I received a black screen when teleporting to the next stage. When trying to rejoin, it would have me spectating some random part of the map or would just give me a black screen again. Never found a fix throughout the entire run even after restarting the game 3 times
I get this error when I try to launch the game, already tried uninstalling both the game and the dlc as well as rebooting steam, changing power settings, and restarting my pc

Not really... Everytime that happens to me I leave the lobby and try to rejoin till it works. Can take between 0-20 tries but it usually works in the end...

Ive noticed a lot of enemies spawning in the walls and underground in Titanic Plains. Im using the Railgunner's mines to shove em into the abyss through the map lol

When playing as Mul-T in the Bulwarks ambry, Using car form while flying off the edge forces you to keep getting pushed off when respawning on the map Hopoo Feather is only fix to stop getting forced off i have found.

When falling out of the stage on pretty much any map with railgunner she gets flung super far as soon as she tps back up. Idk if this is known yet but it is super annoying.

If you join a friend who has the DLC, and beat the ||voidling||, then buy the DLC, you do not have the || void fiend|| unlocked. Seems like an oversight/bug IMO.

I am having this issue as well. Windows Event Viewer says UnityPlayer.dll is the module at fault. Have tried many things to fix, but none successful. Super weird because it was working fine about an hour ago.

So what i'm noticing is that if I play RoR2 on a secondary monitor, then close the game while it's still on that monitor, it will not open again and I will get that error. However, if move the application back to my main monitor to close it, I can then open it again without error. so PSA: don't close RoR2 on your secondary monitor! You can still play it on the secondary monitor, just make sure to close it on your primary.

Captain's 4th skill was unavailable when starting game in multiplayer. Had 1 hacking and 1 equip beacon selected before starting. The skill when hovered over says the beacons have been used up.
Egocentrism took my transcendence, I also picked up some knurls, and my max health was reduced to 1 with my health slowly ticking down like 3 or 4 hp per second despite not getting hit by anything

It is, but peer to peer communication was insanely slow (5000ms) for RoR2, but was fast for other p2p games. Suggests issue with game rather than connection.

To be more clear, what happens is that if you get hit by one of the rocks, the force of the hit will carry on through the falling off the stage teleport, and basically combo you into another fall until the momentum runs out and let's you regain control

PSA, with 3 railgunners, when we did 1 at a time with the other 2 not firing a single shot, we each got the achiv, but when we had one of us shoot and miss, it reset the count for the other one
sweet glad it hasnt been something in the game forever that ive never noticed until now
So it seems as though the railgunner achievement tracks hits or misses across all players, not just the main player
Did a Simulacrum, got the Abyssal Depths map in a cave. Got like 10 enemies for wave 1. Wave 2 starts and... nothing spawned. Like at all.

Crowbar works on the self damage from Void Fiend's consume corruption. Oops.
It does what it says, if you have crowbar and you're at full or near full health, it'll trigger the effects on yourself. Can't kill yourself with it, but you might as well have.
Playing MP with a friend, they are viend. They managed to get a speed debuff that lasted throughout the entire stage. They said they may of somehow "shot," themself with Viend's primary or something. It went away when stage changed.
Fire is broken like it used to be. It never ran out and ate 200 health and killed me while no one else was around.

i was playing loader and if i flung myself off a cliff i would respawn with the same momentum and had to grapple onto the terrain to keep myself from looping

there seems to be an audio bug with using goobo jr. when your playing as bandit.
Example: when you use Goobo jr as the bandit after the 30 sec combat, it seems gooba audio lags the cloak use on loop in game even after exiting the game it still plays in the main menu
idk if someone reported this before but ill report this again.
also I experienced a bug when the Gup jumps above you and your under it after it goes down you could clip under the floor seems to clip you below the ground as it squishes you

Issue: Using steam dedicated server browser to connect to a dedicated server resulting in a bad password error. Changing the password results in no change in behavior. The password was entered correctly in the Steam prompt.

So I did simulacrum to wave 50 and I killed them so fast it glitched, stop spawning and I didn't get to complete it. So that was a nice waste of an hour.
Concussive mines on railgunner in multiplayer don't visibly pulse unless you are the host, making it harder to time
it used to reduce damage but isn't now. I've also just found that time isn't frozen in the void fields.
oh dang I hadn't noticed that part either... wow well rip that strat now. Not super sure I want to waste time going there anymore

I had a mysterious slow debuff as void fiend right now. I couldn't tell what triggered it but it would stay for until the rest of the level. This happened for several levels in a row
I was convinced it was a bug because I didn't remember have any slow debuff items

Yo, I got an issue with movement and abilities. Specifically anything that involves the numbers and letters on my keyboard. I managed to switch interact to right arrow and it worked, and when I hit control I automatically move where I'm looking and sometimes when I look at the settings there's nothing filled in for what the key bindings are. My laptop currently runs on Windows 10, has a RTX 3070 and an Intel i7 and is fully updated. I checked the integrity of the game files and saw nothing was wrong and reinstalled once already. Anyone got any idea on what to do?
It didn't before, I assume the Void change (DoT ramp up, RAP not nullifying, tougher times not blocking) was all to make the Void more of a real threat

If you spam special too fast with void fuel cell, your charge goes down but only one special will be cast. Happened as Merc's Slicing Winds, don't know if other specials will act same way

so you can softlock if enemies get Dio's Best Friend in the new mode, causing you to lose the run. It just breaks the enemy counter or something, it was stuck at 16 enemies left until I died. Wasn't able to get a screenshot since I kinda just died and it didn't occur to me at the moment.

I get hit with a high impact attack, which sends me off the map.
Once I hit the fall damage respawn point, and I reappear back on the map, the momentum is still there and I’m flung off the map

my game has been loading incredibly slowly since i downloaded the dlc. it got stuck around 5%ish and then again at 68%ish and i was able to get it to load after maybe 15-20 minutes, and the game played fine more or less- it was just an issue of loading. I've tried setting the priority higher in the task manager details tab to no avail, and I made sure the game is able to use all cores of my cpu so I don't think either of those are the issue. im running ryzen 5 1600, 1080ti, 24 GB ram for reference. anybody got something to try?
Update: I can apparently do all normal controls and the game is completely normal if and only if I hold down left control while doing so

i think there may be an options file you can edit with a text editor but I'm not sure
i found a config file at the file path D:\Program Files (86x)\steamapps\common\Risk of Rain 2\Risk of Rain 2_Data\Config but the only vsync related config flag i found was vsync_count 0; so it looks like whatever it is, it is already disabled or the lowest it can be. I don't think vsync would be an issue anyways

Enemies gaining Dio's Best Friend sure do ruin Simulacrum mode entirely by making you unable to progress. Got stuck at 25 remaining enemies that didn't exist and died to the void closing around the focus entirely.
It's an extra kick in the junk when it happens the run you're trying to unlock the new character.
In spoilers because sotv: ||Falling off the start of the planetarium in multiplayer can lead to the player not respawning at the top, causing them to fall forever. This also prevents the boss from spawning, and after a while starts to screw with models, in the image is a screwed up model from falling for too long||

enemies got dio's on wave 50, i killed all of them, but still showed "12 enemies remaining" and timed out because i cant kill enemies that dont exist

Bosses double their moves sometimes after being hit with void items. Void items also cause parts of them to vanish for some reason too. Sadly I do not have a screen shot but it happened with the golden golem guy and with some other bosses.
Can confirm, if you try multiplayer and your screen looks like this, turning off your VPN fixed it in two different cases 😐

I wasn't able to get a screenshot of this, but I was in the void fields and one of my friends had the new eulogy zero item that causes items to have a chance to turn into lunars. I don't know if this is intentional or not, but on wave 4 of the void fields, instead of the monsters getting 5 white items, the eulogy zero caused them to gain a transcendence.
It was just 1 transcendence too, instead of the 5 items normally given to the monsters during that wave. That combined with the fact that it doesn't seem right for the item to affect items given to enemies, leads me to believe that this is a bug.

You can't unlock Railgunner's Marksman ability in multiplayer. I tried it for 3 hours straight with friends in every way possible, and nothing. I decided to do a solo run and give it a shot, and boom. Got it within like 3 minutes of starting.

As railgunner with visions of heresy, after using your sniper and reloading, visions now only has 1 shot no matter how many were available before. This does reload itself however still a minor issue.
This might not be a bug, but there's an equipment in the logbook missing. I tried getting it with command, but for some reason it says it's locked, there's no challenge to unlock it.

Got a bug where my keybindings switch from keyboard/mouse to gamepad at random despite there being 0 connected gamepads.
Could still play normally, but when opening a menu like a scrappers or the potential thingy orbs from encrusted caches or the void fields i was unable to interact with anything.
No mouse cursor, and WQSD and arrow keys did nothing. The Escape key toggled between the "pause" menu and the item UI, but i could still not interact with any of it or exit the UI and take control of my character again.
I was stuck.

heres another bug that isn't too major but caused quite the annoyance on the stage. It went away after we tp'd to the next stage.
description of bug: genesis loop was proc'd by my friend and it did not go away once it exploded and kept the radius visible. My friend was also glowing immensely as if the genesis loop was fully charged on him. full order of events: friend hit blood shrine (93 percent drain)> procced genesis loop and was healed by the power potion (healing one) at the same time. I was host and only i saw it remain as it did in the video.
MUL-T still gets launched over the map by Grandparent black hole. It DOESN'T happen to anyone else. Happens with alternative special AND ||new heavy pauldron ||
So me and my friend(He was hosting) did the challenge for Void Fiend and only he got it.
So, people have told me this is a bug (thought it was a feature because of the lack of a changelog) but Captain always spawns with no Beacons within the Simulacrum for me. Notice how the name of the area is still visible, as I took this screenshot almost immediately after spawning, so no, I did not use the beacons. That's just how they spawn on Simulacrum for me, by default.

I'm unable to either find nor damage the remaining enemies in my Simulacrum run.
I'm able to fund sounds of golems walking while I'm below the map, but I'm unsure where they are located.
I'll also note that I'm unsure if I can use my Phase blink to glitch through the wall somewhere to salvage this run. There seems to be an issue with enemies having Dio, but this is not the case in my run.

This might've been reported already but you retain momentum when you teleport back into the map after going out of bounds. Got hit by an asteroid on stage 5 and just kept getting launched after teleporting back.

Harpoon seems to be very buggy with vents and stuffs. 90% times when I take a vent with harpoon active, it just sends me to random places.

Unknow if its a bug, but taking fire damage seems to be broken again. One tick of fire lasts soooo long and will take you from full health to half with no way to stop it unless you have the blast shower or bens raincoat
Sometimes you just catch permanently on fire (It literally does not want to go out and will keep the player on fire until they get hit with another fire attack)
Also Railgunner's primary fire needs a tune up, it should auto target enemies in the square targeting zone, not the enemy behind you, or the floor where a little crawler boi is coming out of.
Can also confirm infinity fire. Seems to happen more often in my experience from void corrupted monsters?

no hard evidence but i feel like that only happens when you have the new item (ignition tank). At least a friend of mine was complaining about burning all the time and i didnt even notice any problem

I’m calling this a bug but it kind of isn’t. Railgunner crit chance is multiplied by 0 if you aren’t using the sniper. Even with lensmaker it’s 0

mutiplayer lobbies look like this, any game mode, can't actually play together. happens to my friend if he trys to join mine
in simulacrum mode, playing engineer with stationary turrets. after orb start flow i can place turrets on orb and turrets will stay at point where i place it. right in the air.
Sometimes falling off the map doesnt reset your momentum and somehow converts it horizontally which causes you to be flung off the map repeatedly and endlessly until something kills you.
Game crashed about 5 seconds after entering Sulphur Pools, no idea what caused it. Output log was 46 minutes behind (the entirety of the run), and doesn't seem to have anything of use. But since apparently no crash.dmp was generated in either location, and the output log is outdated, I have attached my player.log, which appears to have more information that anything.
So is the third stage of the final boss suppose to insta kill you once you get through the portal or is that a glitch it just spawns us out side the circle and insta killed us

i don't know if i would exactly call this a bug cause it more has to do with how the physics work i think but sometimes in the simulacrum mode when you fall into the void then reappear on ground you get "trimped" (idk if thats the exact name but basically you just go flying) which makes you fly off the make killing you almost instantly if you dont have a way to slow your falling momentum (i have a clip of this happening if you want to know what i'm talking about)

Dying wave 50 in simulacrum and waiting until the vent collapses on itself, killing all enemies will still give you the achievement.
There is a bug in multiplayer where if a player joins a game in progress to spectate, they won’t be able to spectate (sometimes) and when all of the players die, nothing happens. This makes the host have to restart the lobby.

There is a bug with sniper’s scope. When scoped in and you watch an imp die, their target thing stays inside the ground and does not disappear until you unscope and scope back in.
Loader's M551 Pylon does not interact with geometry in the Simulacrum. The pylon bounces off of geometry in regular gameplay. Thanks!

im not sure how it happened but I was playing the Simulacrum mode with mercenary and i was on rallypoint delta. I dashed with mercenary and got stuck inside one of the closed storage containers and couldnt get out then burned to death from the planet

i think the void focus pathfinding might be busted, it took a turn and flew straight through a cliff, killing everyone
minor bug with void fiend, the cutoff or base default for the corruption % is slowly shifting for me (i think when i've used my R (uncorrupted) too close to the point of no return, it's sort of shifted the meter), so the absolute minimum % i can have now is 4. it doesn't go below 4% anymore (in this playthrough).

Don't move when respawning from fall damage, you shouldn't get launched. Got hit by that as well
this is the minimum, 0-3% is wrapped around behind the white cutoff border. those missing 3% doesn't really impact gameplay that much so it's not important but just thought it was interesting that it could shift
i've had this issue as well, and it doesn't matter what i did. even if i let go of the keyboard, i would keep getting flung out of bounds repeatedly until something else (enemy or terrain) would stop the momentum

it's how i died in my first playthrough of the new gamemode, i would get repeatedly flung out of the safe area and died to the void damage
I realize now what the devs were thinking when they implemented his upward slide movement. Things get so messy later on that cleansing is basically a godsend
if you have corrupted items the minimum % goes higher for every item

I have found a bug with the corruption however, if your minimum is 25% or higher you can spam R an unlimited amount of times and replenish infinite health
I am having an issue with my game, I have uninstalled and reinstalled, I guess clicked my way into setting and changed the resolution and that didn’t fix it. Any other idea/fixes that are known for this issue?

You can squeeze into the open area in these doors, but you cannot leave and you softlock your run.
Did you open any void cradles before you died? It's possible for the void bugs that spawn from it to latch onto Col. Droneman and kill you

Update: I updated my computer and everything that needed to be updated. Still doesn’t work
For me the game starts just fine, but going into any part of the menu crashes the game/causes it to stop responding, it doesn't even create a crash log. I've reinstalled the game, uninstalled every mod I've had on, verified game files, everything but it still crashes after the pressing any of the menu buttons, it started with crashing on joining multiplayer, then spread to singleplayer, now its anything.

Yes, I did check every corner of the map, their locations are actually in the middle of the stage if markers are to be trusted
crowbar affects void fiends self damage
We got locked out on Simulacrum wave 68, the mobs got Dio's best friend as one of their items. It seems like there were some monsters missing from the wave (which was a very slow one since they always revived) and it seems like some monsters fell down the map and maybe revived somewhere outside the map, never returning to us so we can kill them.

idk if this is a bug, but this is what I see after pressing play. I see this for 1 sec then vanish then the play button is available again. I have tried deleting the hole ror2 file but it seems to still be a struggle. This occurred after the update and I haven't bought the expansion yet.

Benthic bloom is absolutely broken, I was in a run where I had 1 knurl, 1 benthic, 1 opal and 2 scrap (not a single green) and then on the next stage I suddenly had 2 shattering justices, in chat it also stated that shurikens upgraded to the shattering justices, which doesnt make any sense since I have none
I'd assume that a white was converted to shurikens before getting converted to shattering\
in the item info it says upgrade 3 items to the next tier, and all 3 of my items got upgraded. which shouldnt have made that a possibility

Whenever my brother joins me when I'm the host of the run he gets really bad lag. It says his ping is fine, but it feels like his ping is at least 300 or more. Whenever I join him when he's hosting the same thing happens to me. We live at the same house and use the same ip address and everything, so maybe that's why, but I don't know how to fix this.
Was just playing the new wave game mode (loving it) when the little purple thingy started moving to a different place. After that we should be able to activate it but it spawned inside the ground. Now we couldn't start the game anymore. I also have screens of this if you wanna see. We are still really loving the new patch !

showed up. We killed everything in the area, we checked for shielded alpha constructs outside and inside the area and found no one. No enemys spawn. We stuck on 50-th wave and we didn't have notification of void fein unlock.
This run is still on, should we do something specific for you to check that?

I was playing Void Fiend, and I was getting an unremovable slow debuff (akin to the one the Chronobaubble would apply? Downwards red arrow) every time i transformed back into the uncorrupted stance. The debuff would disappear upon a new stage. I did another run with void fiend earlier and i didn't have this issue. The only remarkable difference was that I had Ben's Raincoat this time, and I had the desert level, the one with the exploding pots that slow you (although i don't know how relevant it is, i know that the slow debuff they apply has a different icon).
I think Void Fiend has a natural applicable slow debuff that triggers on ability self damage

Currently running Simulcrum, killed Gup(s) which spawns Geep(s), but the wave is progresses as completed. Also occurs when Geep(s) are killed and Gip(s) are spawned.

and if you use debuff (like shift REX) on enemies but don't damage them, you don't see hp bars too

I did the teleporter first and then did the void seed thing.
The boss got corrupted while I was doing the teleporter event but I don't know if that has anything to do with it.

So there had been a lot of UI problems since the dlc, like fx screen turning black but still being in the game, items not showing, player frozen in place in your view but they can walk fine and multichests being half open, it's kinda weird cause today was my first time out of over 200 hours experiencingbthat so not a quincident I think

Maybe lag, but I constantly spawned in without being able to see one of my teammates. Missing teammate's actions show up as ??? in chat. Happened to both teammates in run, but not at the same time.
Also, teleporter was invisible to me, but not teammates. Pic shows where teleporter was according to other teammates and there is no objective

When playing simulacrum in sky meadow, being hit by a meteor can fling you so fast that when you hit the world floor and teleport back into the stage, you will continue in your trajectory instead of landing on the ground. Resulting in an infinite loop being flung out of stage teleport back to the ground only to fly off the stage again, until you inevitably die from void damage.

I think that can be fixed by making the surface slippery, but other than that it's not broken too much like u can walk in that speed anyways, the reason it's dangerous when it moves is only cause u try to get chest

When in the bazaar , if you buy Egocentrism, it consumes your other items even though the in-game timer is frozen
idk if this is a bug, or something with my monitor, however, since the new update, when I've had ROR2 open on my monitor, it'll randomly go black for about 2 seconds or so before coming back on
while using the rain coat with MUL-T if you use power mode the slowness will stay until you leave the stage, it happens every time you use raincoat and go onto power mode

We beat wave 25 and the orb never moved
so if you escape the moon via petting the frog at the same time the timer hits 0, this happens.
I should say I actually was warped out at 2 seconds but I was still considered killed
Trophy Hunter's Tricorne bug I just ran into: using it on a Magma Worm that's close to the surface or partially underground may result in no trophy appearing. It may have spawned under the ground instead.

i have been killed by my own friendlies hundreds of times, even my own engineer turrets which can be corrupted by Void Pests and instantly kill you, depending on your items

SIMULACRUM bug where it says there are enemies remaining, but there's actually nothing left to kill
Results in an eventual closing of the safety sphere and a slow, annoying death
When checking where those supposed enemies are, the yellow dot appeared somewhere within the sphere, about 3 character model heights above ground, all in one spot
(No, there were no enemies remaining elsewhere on the map I checked 3 times)

Void Fiend bug: I have no idea what causes this but for whatever reason my Void Fiend does not have a torso. I have rebooted, reinstalled, moved graphics up, and nothing seems to work. I can't send an image for whatever reason so if you need those please DM me.

deals more damage to you too in void form, if you have too many you might just end up killing yourself. If this really is intentional it's pretty silly
