Unplug 2nd monitor, the one that windows thinks 2nd, you should be able to check that if you rightclick on desktop and select the last option (preferences or something, forghor the name)
Unplug the one that gets 2 on screen when you press the button to reveal numbers.
After you unplug it try to run the game.

@mighty belfry you can use it, plug it back in after game loaded.
That crash happens when game looks for display to show graphics to, but fails in some unredimable way. Known bug, not known when it gets fixed.

In theory you should be good after that your game cached. Not sure if it actually gonna work, let me know.

Just to clarify @mighty belfry i meant that after you did that monitor mumbo-jumbo once you should be good to not do it each time. The game should load as expected. Tell me if it does or not. I have no confirmation on that regard from others with similar problem.

@mighty belfry oh yeah, note that you won't be able to change ingame settings because your config file set to read only. You're supposed to set read only flag after you done changing setting, saved the changes and closed the game. You only need that flag to prevent steam from falsely replacing your config file with bugged one that steam have. Just deleting the file and running the game generates that file with correct default settings, rather than bugged uncorrect ones.

hello my name is kuwoo and i have a problem since i bought the game when the dlc released

at first i couldn't open the game, so a dev told me to put a command to change directX, the command "-force-feature-level-10-1", since then i can play the game, however this command removes the water textures and turns into this bright pink instead, if I try to remove the command in the launch options on steam, the game does not open and crashes after a few moments, i brought this problem here before but without success in fixing it, in case anyone wants to help me with this i'll provide what i know:

there were a few people with a problem similar to mine on reddit, the game froze after opening it that's all, but after talking to these people, we saw that we had in common, it was the graphics card, it was always an old amd radeon, this was the source of the problem, but we had no idea what to do to fix it,

Just to be clear you have tested other feature levels? Like used only one line at a time that says -feature-level-11-1 or -feature-level-11-0 and so on?
If not try those levels 10-0, 10-1, 11-0 and 11-1
The reason why water is pink is that feature that renders reflections and transparency of water surface is not supported on the level you forced the game to run on. Pink is default material with no surface effects.

@weary skiff i asked a very knowledgeable guy on how to remove water surfaces from rendering, he says that's "easy enough" to do and provided with algorithm to do so. Unfortunately for both of us im dum to implement it, I've asked for more detailed info. Not promising anything, but I'll see what i can do.
Log confirms the issue as i described earlier:
ERROR: Shader Hidden/PostProcessing/ScreenSpaceReflections shader is not supported on this GPU (none of subshaders/fallbacks are suitable)

Basically your gpu can't display water that uses dev chosen method and none of secondary methods that game engine have are fitting so engine uses most basic one - pink cell shaded plain with no material, reflections, bumpmaps etc.

hello, me and my friend have been loving the game so far but every single run we do, at around 50-60 minutes into the run, the one that joins disconnects, we tried letting the other person host but again around 55 minutes in, all the enemies keep walking in one direction and on the hosts screen it says x has disconnected. any ideas to fix this?

Hello everyone, does anyone having issues launching the game? I just reinstalled risk of rain 2 and the game won't launch. It just shows this and then it close and the game don't even start. Okay, that's not very useful.
Downgrade gpu driver to the date before you played the last time.
If it's multimonitor setup try to unplug second monitor.
Try to use -force-feature-level-10-1 in steam launch parameters.
Those 3 should reduce load on gpu. If game crashes make some more runs, i want to see more error.log

Hello everyone! I recently bought a dedicated server with shockbyte for ror 2 and while i can connect, no other friends can, and vice versa. The lobby always seems to be full of 4 "disconnected players" which are never really there, and when one real person plays alone they get double loot from bosses and such as if two people were playing and the scaling was bumped up. Anybody got any ideas on how to remedy this? I would appreciate any help. :)

@left glacier EOS is an epic online service. Auth error means that current user id doesn't match what id game saved for attempting reconnect.
In other words Epic Online Service lost connection (or session expired) assigned new user id within online services and attempted the reconnection protocol of the game which requires the same user id in online service with your account id. Account id got past authentication, but online service id isn't so your friend was able to "handshake" and able to establish connection, but rejected for assigning the same playable body. It also prevents for your friend to become spectator, because rejection cancels connection before that.

Disable crossplay, it isn't reliable.
Reconnection is possible and works if user and online service ids weren't changed. For example if you start a game and then quit you still can reconnect, but if steam client goes offline you likely get new online id.
In local (lan or lan emulation), dedicated (own server without steam/eos as a relay) reconnections are always possible.

Minor larvafication can occur sometimes if host forgets what character body id player had and assigns what it got in memory - 0 which is id of larva bug.

@ornate tangle you connect to your friend there is no some single central server like in mmo games. Whoever hosts - is the server.
Disable crossplay from game settings. Play on dedicated servers hosted by others. Or use workarounds #ror2-tech-support message

@ornate tangle forgot to add. You connect not directly. If you opted for crossplay you use EOS by epic games, and if you didn't its steamworks by steam. They act like middle point to provide relay. If you expirience poor performance of those services likely one of you use vpn service like surfshark, nordvpn etc. Turn that off. And if nothing works go with workaround i linked.

Copy path link i gave you.
Get to file manager, place cursor on link string and paste it. Replace username placeholder in that link with yours and press enter. Now you're in the precise place where you will find the player.log or similar other place where crashfolders are that each contain player.log error.log and crash dumps.

Or you can press winkey and R at the same time in any desktop space to summon run window. Where you can type appdata command to summon appdata folder.

There is like 10 more ways to get there.

In moments like this i ask myself if i have the patience and why i am even doing this.

From start to end. Then do as written. This guards you and others from 90% problems.

Now what you didn't read is the part where i tell you there is two separate places in appdata folder where the game saves logs. One that you did found is not persistent, it gets rewritten every time you launch the game. And the second one saves each log in to individual folders called crashfolders, each of those represent a single crash event detected by the game.

I need one player.log from rewritable folder that gets rewritten each launch. But that one has to be sent to me after you expirience crash so it's actually useful.

another player.log from latest crash folder and error.log from the same crash folder.

Another set of player.log and error.log from second to last crash folder.

And another set as before, but two folders from the last crash folder.

7 files total. In one message with @steady topaz somewhere in that message.

If that's not clear then I'm afraid i can't help it.

Two tips for the future:
1 you can take screenshots with printscreen key on keyboard or scissors tool that you can find on your pc under tools tab or by searching it's name. Discord accepts those screenshots with paste or ctrl+v. If you hold alt while focusing a window screenshot is taken only of said windown, not an entire screenspace. Do not send people photos of your monitor ever.

2 read pinned messages in discord channels. Likely your question is answered there. If not use ctrl+f or click on magnifying glass icon to summon search feature and type keywords of your problem. Read answers to those questions. Sometimes it's better to pair name of exact problem with solution, fix, thank you keywords to find the answer itself. I your case crash word shows hundreds of results.

Read before you do and if things do not align when you do - read again.

This whole troubleshooting getting way harder than it was when i started. It just seems the more tested and proven solutions we as a community get written here, the more q&a we have in written media the harder it gets to persuade people who seek help to get said help.
Not just this time where i have to explain how files and links in os works, but all the basic stuff. I mean i have to write two pages of highly detailed instructions on how to get the files that is just a first step. And do not get what i asked after like 2 days, when my response for the request takes less than 20 min. I have to answer that stuff in unconvinced time for me, otherwise i won't get anything.
And after half based guestimation i have to make on lacking info i have to convince some that dynamic ip publicly broadcasted have no way to getting people hacked. While personal info said people placed willinnly into social profiles is... I'm burning out.

That time when i got asked how to turn steam off and on again comes to mind as something good and right thing to ask, that i recall as a good memory.

Because today i get confidently incorrect assumptions that my suggestion is wrong at the basis. Not just mistaken, incorrect, right away just unappealingly wrong.
Even though i never suggested a thing that isn't tested and understood by me why it have an effect atleast partially.
I'm trying not to cause harm, being careful with warnings.
Now i have to plot user actions and predict what they might do wrong and warn in advance.

Instead of reading memory addresses and comparing them by hand using my phone, looking into various problems with specific hardware and software versions on the whole net, digging cadavers of old forum threads or other devs exchanges on unity engine support pages, looking into their code and suggested solutions.
I just patiently wait and explain that "No, steam id number does not give me power to hack your pc, that's publicly available info just like your username, just more specific. And i already got it from your discord profile which allowed me to get your country of location and get a search of steam servers downtime there that was indeed likely the cause of your connectivity problems. Thank you for not saving me time by not telling me where are you from and what the problem was exactly in the first place" sily stupid stuff like that takes whole day when it should take 3 minutes.
And situations like this just come and come, each time a new one.
I get the stigma of not sharing your ip, i understand people are afraid to tell their isp name, i again and again explain why i need it and why no one can do harm with that info.
You want help - get one, google is free. I'm not a some allknowing supermind. I just take your problem and google it, that's all no special.

Hey guys, my pc has some pretty good specs: i7 2.9 GHZ, 16gb ram, 2070 super, etc. I can play all the high end games on the highest settings like I want, but obviously my fans start to speed up, and is a little loud. But when I play ror2 on complete low settings, I still get dropped to 1 fps on long runs. The fans also don't speed up, so I was thinking that it's just not utilizing resources correctly. I've watched many streamers play this game for 2 hr long runs and I don't see there fps drop to 1 for 1 minute intervals. I've tried everything out there to try to fix this but can't seem to find a solution. Any thoughts?

I honestly don’t know what it could be, but it could be something with the settings in the files for max data usage, spore has the same issues that can be fixed with mods but I have worse specs and it runs well for 4 hours plus in a single run on max settings(20fps at most around that point)

my game has been crashing repeatedly with this error. Running new PC with AMD 6950XT and 5700X, 32Gb ram bla bla bla

so far I've tried adjusting High DPI in the ror2.exe compatibility settings. That had worked for some people but not for me. Max time i've played before crashing is about 30 minutes. Often crashes on stage 4 or while charging TP, maybe when the screen gets extra busy of all of a sudden?

I tried other mods like QoLChests by Faustvii and it's working fine. Maybe they are outdated?

Hmm so my game was bugged earlier. Every time I clicked on singleplayer it would take me back to menu, and I'm unable to start any run. So I uninstalled and reinstalled the game... and it turns out everything is saved locally (I think, given that my progress appears to have reset). 😭
Is there any way for me to get my progress back?

Okay, so like every time I get done with a run and close out the game, it crashes my PC. Idk if it's something with the game or anyone else has this problem or because I only have 16GB of ram. Anyone got any ideas?

Are you using a wired or wireless mouse/keyboard? If it's wireless, it may be your drivers. If you need to update/install drivers, look up the brand of mouse/keyboard you have and see if there's any updates or anything. Also, please be careful when you do this, some drivers you download may be fake or have malware. I know for me, every time I load up the game the mouse will refuse to work and get locked in the middle but, if I tap start and then click back in the game, it usually helps. I don't know why the utilization on the mouse is so finicky in the game but, I'm guessing its because they are less focused towards PC and more focused on console.

if you are at the bazaar and then activate the world "sirens call" per dreaming and then teleport to that world ->not with the blue portal<- then there will be a secondary bazaar at the crashed ship very left to the map

like there will be no wall there will be a hole in the map where behind the hole there is like a high ledge with a crashed bridge with 2 newt mossy stones and after them there is a bridge which leads direktly to a bazaar room ... only got it once . i was drunk then and i dont remember 100% - sry for bad english....

You can't teleport from bazar any other way than from void portal and blue portal.
Siren's call have nothing like bazar in any variant of the map.
The figures behind newt in bazar are reflection from time crystal wall.

Closest thing to a name is ping, when you mark something, your friends and ally hp bars (that can be blue if hp consists of shields like when you get ) and boss hp bars, that never tell individual names, only boss type.

Umbra is your shadow they spawn and attack you each 10 min if artifact of vengeance is on.
Gubbo jr is also black gooish copy of you that spawns by equipment and fights for you. Limit is 3 at once.

Well, there are different realms, but only one of them is bazar. The place with shopkeeper- newt, where infront of him you can find cauldrons to exchange items, seers to dream of next stage and lunar items with a slab to roll them for coins.
The wall behind newt have slab with artifact code and it's reflective. The other wall only appears when someone attacks the newt. Players are teleported to blue portal and can not.get.inside again, this wall is reflective. While no umbras can be in that stage, goobo can and won't be teleported with players. Goobo clones stay inside, behind the wall.

There is nothing else in the game even remotely alike that can be tied to what you described.

There is no ground to stand behind that waĺl. To get goobo behind a wall you need to stand infront of it and spam equipment and even so the chance is small. Usually goobo spawn near you.
Anyhow, that's not.an easter egg or a bug that we know off.

Question, and I'm not sure what channel to post this in, as I'm new here. Me and my 3 friends have just bought the game and have been experiencing some lag-outs during our runs. We start playing and out of no where, average about 30-40 minutes in, one of us gets kicked out, but never the host. I was hosting, and one of my two friends got disconnected but the other one did not. Today, I was playing and my friend was hosting and I got kicked out. I'm not sure what is causing this, but I'm theory crafting. I ran a test to verify integrity of game files via steam and 1 file was corrupt, I got the file, started it back up, quit, verified the files again, and same file was corrupt. I checked the internet to see if there was a fix to either of these problems, but there was nothing. I uninstalled the game and reinstalled it and we're having the same issue. As a matter of fact, when I go onto the multiplayer join a game, there are never servers there. Any ideas?

Your chain of connection easily may be 20+ links even if you all right next door.
Make sure no vpn like nord or other real location spoofing involved, unless you know what you're doing with tunneled lan connection. Also make sure time and date is set correctly on your pc.
Eos @short fjord, not egs. Former is epic online service, alike as steamworks and later is epic games store, like steam.
Game uses steamworks system by default, and turns it off and uses eos in crossplay mode. Steam users need steam to be linked to egs account for it to work.
Also important thing game does not host on steam servers, it hosts and computes on pc whoever is made the lobby. Steam only provides a relay point to route ipv4 internet packets, does a handshake and lists servers.
You do need 7777 port to be open or forwarded and if your connection to isp and from isp to external internet is not obstructed you can host directly, without steam. Hosting with just external ip: https://www.myip.com
You can use ingame command "connect xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:7777" to join or "host 1" to host (lan included) game.
Vpn tunneled connection will use that vpn provided ip instead. It's acting very much like eos or sreamworks relay point in that case. RadminVPN works most of the time.
Ctrl+alt+tilde to open the console ingame.

this is a vague-ish question, but I was planning to upgrade my GPU now that the prices have dropped and hoped to be able to record ror2 at 1080p, 60FPS. However, my current motherboard only supports up to 9th generation CPUs. Would something like this build likely be able to do so?

In my case it seemed like the game was just unable to create a P2P connection between me and my friends, could be a distance issue and could be somehow related to your/their ISP and the IPs they gave you.

What we ended up doing was just hunting in the server browser (which is pretty darn buggy) for an empty lobby that has the settings we want and kept trying till we found one we can all join

Use workaround with radminvpn. I kinda guesstimated what's exactly wrong with your group connection.
Radminvpn have tech for that, other lan emulators like hamachi don't. So yeah, your options are limited to middle point server that's able to reach you all or workarounds, unless you get static ip or proper nat configuration including your isp networks.

You got 4 profiles corrupted and you wonder why i made that comment about backups. Thats no near normal to have even 2. You clearly doing something to get your profile corrupted. Now i can spend a hour to fix your profiles only to get them corrupted again. You should see why i don't want to sit and figure out what is corrupted exactly. You need to atleast attempt to figure out why it happens. What you did that might cause that?

And yes, you can use web profile editor and fit your unlocks to the state they were on your corrupted profile. But you will loose history and stats along with controls settings.
I suggest you to pay attention when profile gets corrupted and tell me what you did and seen at the moment.

This seems to be a recurring issue in here, but a friend just downloaded the game and played a run. They then got prompted to turn on crossplay. They turned it on and now the game is just bricked. Crashes on boot and doesn't open at all.

We've started the progress of going through Gearbox Support, but I was wondering if people had any fixes that worked for them.

So far we've tried:

• Removing the EOS dll files (and later restoring them when that didn't work)
• Uninstalling Epic Games Store/EOS (this actually got the game to launch, but crossplay was set to off and it immediately went back afterwards)
• Reinstalling EGS/EOS
• Deleting steam save data and launching without steam cloud (in the vain hope it'd reset the game settings. it did not)

Only semi-obvious thing we've not tried so far is:

• Updating graphics cards
• Toying with DirectX

@outer drift the fix is simple.
Get in the steam settings of the game and turn off cloud save.
You take the corrupted file and make a backup of it.
Open the file in separate folder using notepad++ or any other program that lets you save txt files in original coding.
Create a fresh profile and do the same with it.
And then you get yourself a big steamy cup of coffee.
You open one file in left tab and another in right tab, look at both line by line and find difference and similarity. Then you edit bad parts in corrupted out as per the correct profile.
Whole deal takes atleast an hour if you're precise.
Alternatively you can copy settings, mappings and achievements blocks from corrupted profile to a fresh one. You would loose run history and total stats, but the progress would be the same. Admittedly very same thing is achievable without editing the file by txt editors by the website save editor.
After you done and tested the file works you can delete corrupted profile from the game profile selector by pressing del over it.
Do a run to get the profile updated and then turn on cloud save, replace cloud data with a fresh one.
Make and keep the profile backup.
Default location:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\userdata\ Your steam id here \632360\remote\UserProfiles

If publicly avaible network is not isolating clients that's the best way to loose your personal data. That's why you shouldn't even hope to play p2p games on public networks. Tunneling safe virtual network (like with radmin) your best option here. Or use mobile hotspots on both ends.

It's a good idea and i thought to make something like that long ago, but figured there is plenty answers and pinned messages, only problem people do not look for them. They do not even scroll up by 2 messages to see previous conversations so i think some instruction even very well constructed and easy to follow won't work.
But main reason not to rush it anyway is that gb is going to rewrite codebase of the game. I don't have any confirmation, but it just makes sense that they are going to unify the game codebase across the platforms to be able to add content easier on each platform. I think that includes the pc too. Something similar happened with stationeers, devs of that game rewriting the game from custom engine to unity. As a result almost all knowledge on quirks of the game is useless.
So your hard work might not be relevant soon.

This doesnt really relate to ror2 much but its a problem that affects me in several videogames that i play. Whenever I hold down the C key, my keyboard stops taking any inputs from the shift key. This is a problem in ror2 because i cant sprint while charging the charged gauntlet unless i change my binds to another key. This problem only happens with the C key and no others. i have every setting for sticky/filter/toggle keys turned off.

Hey, my friend and I love this game, however whenever we enter sky meadows, there is extreme desync, rubber banding, and connection issues but only on his end. It is fine once we leave that stage, and it is only that stage we have this problem, any advice?

I had this problem for a while, for me it was I had overclocked my gpu a bit too much and had to tune it down a little. If you haven’t done any of that I’d recommend lowering graphics settings

I've found the solution, it was an issue with double monitors. I just needed to disconnect my second monitor, launch the game and then boom it worked, even with he 2nd monitor re-connected.

So 3 of us are trying to play multiplayer (steam / PC, EPIC crossplay is off) whenever one of us hosts a lobby 1 person joins and the other loads into the server but their character is invisible. They can change character on their client but cant change loadout or click the ready button. after about 30 - 40 seconds they get kicked from the lobby.

hi, sometimes when i play online, when loading into a new stage i am dead and spectating the game, but the game seems to think i am alive, with my health bar in the top left showing as full but with no character portrait next to it. this means that if all my friends die, we are softlocked as the game thinks i am alive so it doesn't end the game, and i just miss out on a stage of loot anyway. is this a common problem, and if so what is the solution? i have deleted and reinstalled the game, as well as validated the files through steam. this happens with or without mods. please ping me if you respond so i can find the response.

Had a problem today with playing multiplayer.
First, I tried playing with my friend. There were no issues until stage 2/3, where it started lagging for him (I hosted). On stage 4 it disconnected him from the game.
Second, we tried playing again, but he hosted the game. The same issue, but it disconnected me around stage 3.
Third, we tried playing in three. We tried playing three games - each hosted by another player. We couldn't get past stage 4 every time because it disconnected us from the game.
Important info: We played together around a year or two ago and had no problems with connection issues, lags or anything like that.

Has anyone had any similar problem and knows how to fix this? Bummer can't play with friends 😊

hey wondering if anyone else has had the issue/knows how to fix when r2modman fails to initialize any mods, it just launches the vanilla game (yes i know about being in the modded profile and clicking start modded). I accidentally opened the game from steam and now i can't get launched with mods anymore. I found some posts saying that the locations in r2modman/settings/locations were getting messed up, but they all look correct

Alright, big issue here. I was having an issue where ror2 would just randomly crash often for no apparent reason. I also noticed an issue yesterday where all 24gb of my vram was used, even though nothing intensive was open. Since a pc restart, I have only played ror2, and it has somehow permanentally sucked all 24gb even while its closed. Im using a 7900xtx. I have a pretty weird issue; the game usually performs fine (80+ fps), max settings, 3440x1440, except for two cases. (1) When Beetle Guards use their ranged attack, (2) In the Planetarium. In case (1), performance drops to low 20s~high teens, and in the Planetarium it's single-digit. Has anyone run into this issue, or knows how to get logs / is familiar with the effects used in these two cases?

Hey so im relitively new and am struggling setting up my nintendo switch controller to work with risk of rain 2. it works perfectly fine with the base game however i wanted to add motion controls to the mix and have found that isnt an option in the base game. so i made a new action set and thought setting it to use that would be easy enough and it works with other games but risk of rain 2 seems to overwrite this and im not sure what to do about it. i need a way to overwrite the default controller settings to use my own because i want motion controls but i cant seem to do that. can anyone help?

oh and something i should add is that i literally cannot find anything anywhere. sorting out how to even do the action set on pc was hard enough let alone figuring out how to replace the default

Hey, so I believe a bunch of people have had this issue, and I've done my fair amounts of research and have tried many of solutions.
but every time me or a friend try to play with each other, we always get sent to a black screen with nothing but our cursor, then flown back to the main menu screen.

my fix was more for crashing on start up if you're having trouble mid game I would check either your temps something like rivatuner. or your cpu/memory usage I forget what this one takes more of. but in the mean time check in your systems "event viewer" (assuming you're on pc)

PC temps and usage seems ok during the gameplay. One thing i noticed after you metion the event viewer is the Application Error caused by nvwgf2umx.dll.
Fun fact is all options i'm looking to repair/pass the error i've already done before... Ill keep looking for something to see if it helps.

Hello, i have been having this issue where my game crashes in very random parts in the game, the fastest crash was literally just from changing settings or it could crash 3 hours into a run. From what i read in the crash file the problem is "UnityPlayer.dll caused an Access Violation (0xc0000005)". I have tried googling this issue and saw a couple of people having it but their solutions didn't really work for me so far, i joined the discord and searched through pins and messages to see if i can find something that works but no luck so far.

I will post the last error.log and player.log that i got today, the crash was after a run ended and i was staying in the lobby doing nothing. If anybody has any ideas i would really appreciate it. Thanks.

I have no idea why but every time I try and open risk of rain 2 I get the unity error screen and it just crashes it only happens for risk of rain 2 and no other unity game everytime i check the error logs the error i see is "ERROR: SymGetSymFromAddr64, GetLastError: 'Attempt to access invalid address.' Hey uhh I am having a unity issue whenever I try to launch RoR2, whenever I launch it it comes up with the pop-up shown below, and it closes itself, and stops launching. I also have this identical error message when launching slime rancher, another unity game.

The error message described is:

So it appears the issue is fixable by unplugging my second monitor? Does anybody know how to fix this from happening in the future?

Note for the future, if presented with this error message and you have to monitors, have your second monitor be your primary one in your computers settings

I did some searching through the discord and couldn't find a straight forward fix, but I am having issues with my audio occasioanlly cutting out while I fight enemies. I have a weird issue, first of all I am on linux trying to mod the game with the native linux build of r2modman, I have tried running the appimage, as well as compiling the program myself but whenever I try to launch the program it opens and then immedietly closes. It will run if I run r2modman without sandboxing, but whenever I try to start the game modded Nothing will happen, I have set the steam directory correct and the game directory. And r2modman keeps generating these error messages

Hello, help me with this problem: I recently launched Risk of Rain 2, played, got the achievement and exited the game, then just entered the game, clicked single player, black screen, jumped to the initial lobby when starting the game, I tried to reinstall , did not help, create a new profile - exactly the same. I have been having audio issues on some of my runs. It is very inconsistent. Sometimes it happens on Stage 1, sometimes I can do a whole run with no issues. I have been having difficulty trying to pinpoint a specific enemy or action that causes it. I will attach the run log. Please help!

hi, when i do loops the red part of the hp bar of the enemies shrinks
stage 1 -> 5: no bugs
first loop: half hp (the bar is present, but it is half red and half grey even if the enemy is actually full hp because they just spawned, i.e. start of the fight with mitrix)

when playing ror2 with my kids, we are all on the same wireless network, and I usually host the game. A lot of times, they will be randomly disconnected from my session and not be able to rejoin. After this happens, they cannot start any single or multiplayer games until they have quit and re-verified the files with Steam. Steam finds one corrupt file, re-downloads it, and then their game works again. I don't know what the file is, but it seems to fix the problem temporarily. Any clues on what's going on here?

What platforms are you both on, if you are both on steam you have to make sure you have the same settings for cross play

Hi! Long time console player here thats been playing on PC for a few days now, I've had no issues so far except for some reason all of a sudden whenever i boot up the game I have ZERO AUDIO. This is not an issue with my computer all other audio works perfectly, other games on steam run just fine too. I've restarted steam and my computer individually to no avail. What's even weirder to me is I was playing with perfect audio just a few short hours ago but as soon as I reopened the game it just vanished.

So my friend has a really bizarre issue.
His game keeps deleting some file, he's tried validating the files, reinstalling the game, and the file is fine and dandy, and then he launches the game and it deletes itself again. Don't know what the file is but whatever it is seems to be required for the multiplayer lobby to not be broken.
