Lots of multipliers, crowbars, watches, crit etc., or to stay in sojourn as long as possible to ramp up damage, and hit as many enemies with it as you can

Don't use shaped glass though, it directly increases base damage rather than being a separate multiplier so it doesn't count

Swarms + kin with a cheap enemy like wisps helps too, it'll guarantee a huge horde of many as a boss so you can use

Either get to void fields then take the void portal, loop until you get the purple portal, or go back to the commencement spawn room after beating mithrix and pet the frog until a portal appears

honestly? don't worry about any of that stuff. You'll pick it up as you go, you can easily get a good run going without being perfectly optimal

although one big tip I can give is to full-loot every stage and don't rush to the teleporter. A good rule of thumb is to get at least one item per minute, but it's okay to spend time using printers and scrappers or whatever.
You don't have to worry about having a perfect build either, items are kinda designed with randomness in mind and tend to build off of each other in such a way that having a bunch of different random things is better than just having a bunch of one or two different items

but rebar + rebar + retool, nail + nail powermode, and saw + nail powermode are all pretty good standouts

powermode has a funny quirk where the secondary weapon inherits the same accuracy as the primary, so nail + rebar gives you a rebar that has nailgun accuracy

but saw has no spread so saw + nail gives you a perfectly accurate nailgun and a ton of extra damage up close

not just getting the items but knowing what you can do with what you have too

learn from experience

2 small runs should be enough to know what youre gonna deal with and build items accordingly
you can also choose to stack generally good items if you are in a rush (speed, atg, medkit, etc)

ive done a few more than 2 runs, i think the stats profile thing said just under 100 when last i checked 😭

ive been able to remember ehat most of the items i find do its just figuring out how i can insert them into a build or whether i even can

use scrappers and printers
if you think youre not gonna see a scrapper for a while, immediately scrap your 5 or 6 most out of track items you have

and btw abuse printers

the only good one i can recall was shatterspleen but i didnt even have a yellow to scrap for it

you would most likely need 3 jumps at most, and if you go too fast you risk overshooting

i think i saw somewhere that stacked items increase damage additively but different ones multiply so that would make sense

if you have like a lot of on-hit items, try to get

20 stages in a single run if you havent got it yet

most of my runs dont even make it to stage 3 so that might take a while

Afaik there are nodes that determine whether areas can have chests spawn there at all but otherwise they're completely randomly placed

the wiki says that the 3s of invulnerability is ignored by the implosion, but doesn't say anything about the revive itself

The implosion kills you so yes

Afaik there's nothing (outside of console commands) that bypasses revives

And you die each frame you exist in it

dio revive is on a delay which might help

but yeah you can die to another implosion right after reviving since the invincibility doesn't affect it

if i completed for example 5 eclipse runs on a character, is there a way to play with lower eclipse modifier? is the answer the same if i completed all 8 runs?
