it looks like it uses combined health fraction, which is defined as your combined health / full combined health.
combined health is health + shield + barrier, full combined health is fullhealth + fullshield
so presumably as long as your hp+shield+barrier total is > 50% of your max hp + max shield, youd be ok
in theory that means having 1 hp and 0 shield out of max but full barrier would count as over 100% in the fraction, but i would need to make a new profile to confirm that.

For scrappers you can choose which item to scrap and the equipment recycler lets you turn an item on the ground into a different item of the same tier

assuming you mean printers, each individual item has an equal chance of being chosen, so items with higher stacks are more likely. But if you have scrap of the correct tier, it'll always use that first

not sure off the top of my head, and it'll depend on the boss's level when you fight them. I'd just grab like 3-5 of each, and maybe throw in

(obviously this'll be easier if you're using command)
might work as alternatives but they're a little more tricky
with preon you have to pre-fire just before the boss spawns because it's so slow, sawmerang can shred bosses but it doesn't work as well with crowbar so you might need more damage buffs or
to spam it

you can use crowbar with that as well. if you just completely forgo the tendrils they cant yoink other synergies
i somehow managed to do it with mines but only because it was the exact same map (distant roost) with the exact same teleporter location i remembered so the boss spawned exactly where i predicted and got blown up

as long as they are >90% any damage will be boosted by crowbar, including poison
im not sure if you meant 1%, since thats how much poison deals /s, 10% is too high haha. poison will deal 1% of the targets hp, or 100% of acrids base damage, whichever is higher, up to a max of 50x his base damage (though good luck hitting that), though even that max is before crowbar so you could go over 50x using it

What's the deal with Mithrix and Visions of Heresy? The wiki says he has a special interaction with the item, but does not say what is it.
its a tradeoff
what the wiki means is the interaction when you get all "heresy" items, at which you polymorph into a twisted (physically) vulture with gorgeous stats (mind its negative regen btw, 3 slugs can negate it)
||phase 4 mithrix will then say a few words regarding the thing you polymorphed into, like directly as if he really is talking to it||
sure atg >> shrimp on 3.0 m1m2 but shrimp >> atg on 0.45 r
the atg outweighs it most of the time unless you use the laser a lot

in my experience the primary usually outperforms the laser, and there's no setup required for it
if you get a build for the laser then plimp might be better, I'd still say that atg is the safer option on average

25 total hits with m1m2 per laser cast, still loses to 2plimp. high end example for m1m2 hits, but plimp has downtime so
til you get into other items but just raw 1atg 2plimp
honestly what this tells me is that both options are so good that it hardly matters lol
the point is that passing up plimp is pretty questionable, especially if you havent found atg
this is a best case for 2atg
hitting 5 enemies every m1m2 5 times every laser and somehow u found no growth or atkspd
plus in shitty runs its easier to get laser uptime than spam m1m2s in melee
the difference matters less if you have atg/plimp stacks but at that point it really doesnt matter

I stand by spamming the hell out of the m1m2 whenever you can though, even if it's slightly worse for atg, it's still insanely valuable for proc chaining

although a bandolier and/or lysate pretty much takes care of that
converting itself is still run dependent, lots of ways to get stronger laser
the cooldown is why i did 25 m1m2 hits for each laser
i mean i wouldnt take plimp conversion either if i had little growth or attackspeed or cdr, but like focus crystals and other proc items to use atg's 1.0 over plimp's 0.2

I came back to the game after awhile, I did that like golden pillar ritual thing entered that portal and then just finished the stage from the green portal and now I have another green portal do I enter the teleporter or the green one for the new ending

Functionally it's pretty much identical to a 13% damage bonus against elites so just think of it like that

I actually came here to ask a similar question. Is there even a cap on attack speed? PI is self limiting in that it has a max amount of stacks you can earn.
I can, however, state that 25 stacks of Predatory Instincts (plus 10 seringues) on Engi result in some insanely fast turrets.
The duration per buff stack is not reset by others and is affected by proc coefficient. At some point its possible to reach equilibrium where they are decaying as quickly as you are generating them
Ofc buff stacks giving you more AS lets you get more simultaneous buffs but you can hit a point where its not maintainable. Also if you don't have very high crit its easier to not be able to max it out if you have a lot of stacks

For just attack speed in general, the way that it works is by scaling specific animations. That results in some frame rounding which can cause non linear scaling at really high speeds. And at the extreme you cant have >1 action per frame. So with infinite attack speed for example the fastest a specific anim can be is 1 frame

How that affects specific attacks varies. For example, when shooting huntress's strafe, you have 2 states. Nuetral, or not shooting, and shooting. When you hold m1 you start the shooting, when its done you return to neutral and if m1 is still held you shoot again. So at absolute maximum, thats 1 frame per state, so a 2 frame cycle. Since the engine is 60hz, that means huntress strafe has a hard cap of 30 shots per second
MulT saw and nailgun are channels, so they dont alternate states, allowing them to have 1 frame cycles so hit 60/s max. Commando m1 has an unused reloading state that should never be used, but comes into play at really high AS, so for double tap the hard cap is neutral shoot reload loop, 3 frame cycle, so 20 shots per sec
Engi Turrets shoot 3 times per second, so 20 frames.
I think stationary turrets would likely have 2 states but mobiles is probably just 1?

Frame rounding can cause jank before the cap though like as you get faster and faster the improvements diminish, and once you are changing values between frames you'll get spikes. Like if you take 4 frames, getting speeds of 3.8 or 3.5 or 3.1 will all take 4 frames anyways
If the delay wants 3/s it probably doesn't account for frame rounding between states so id assume 20+1

I got killed in my last run by an attack from below by a Titan that threw me so high in the sky that I was considered "out of the map" and teleported back.
Except I was teleported somewhere else far away from the turrets.
I fought against level 99 enemies already. I know I never went as far as many of you did, but I did reach stage 19.
I had maybe 25 Bungus, no Aegis and the turrets were still very tough.
Stage 19 is pretty far
Eventually you get so many items that the game basically plays itself so furthest stage count is more of a novelty than something to measure skill
At stage 21 you do get an achievement for making it that far though
That's what I was trying to do.
If you can, try to do it on commando
He has the same achievement except you also need to not pick up any lunar items
So its most efficient to aim for both achievements at the same time

Since runs will play out very differently you need to get used to the different conditions and adapt
If I prioritize damage, my turrets get hit and destroyed.
If I prioritize survival, my turrets get overrun and destroyed.
Try to place turrets in spots where they can shoot enemies easily but where enemies cant hit them easily
Alternatively what you can also do is to just place them inside of some walls
Which makes them able to shoot at enemies but most enemies unable to hit them
kill them enemies faster so they have less chance of dealing damage

I do take falldamage, but its only ever 1 HP, taking multiple counts of falldamage only ever reduces my health by 1, until the cautious slug (or possibly the shield regen) kicks in; so its 711 > 710 > 709 etc.

Yea trance effectively nullifies fall damage since it makes the ratio just junk, especially because you can take <1 damage and the game will just show 1. So even with frailty or in eclipse trance basically gives fall immunity

Ive had arti's ice wall create a weird sound effect that would linger until the skill was used again... well some of the time at least as the bug behaves really strangely

I always use it to get some air first and rain artillery down on enemies from above, and when it’s off cooldown I drop down and hit the big crowd of wisps below me

idk if this would count here but does anyone have any tips for beating a first run 🙏 I have 10+ hours on the game and I've only gotten to the last (I'm assuming) boss

yeaa I definitely know that, I've played a lot of dead cells and Hades
focus on taking out the flying ones as fast as possible
assuming you mean chimeras
the orb golem and wisp guys? play around the pillars that spawn for cover

that's smart alr
yeah the wisps are your biggest threat, but the walls that rise can block line of sight
the rest aren't nearly as scary
danger priority of wisp > golem > exploder
i looped by doing artifact of frailty and wanted to test out how extreme it was and died
i might be a bit stupid
yeah fall damage is lethal and stronger
definitely be aware of the orb guys though
the wisps are countered by walls the rest are easy to dodge
i knew that but im not good at gauging fall damage yet
the exploders are easy if you can maintain any amount of air time
make sure the exploders dont get near you trhough
the golems are a problem if your DPS is low
imo golems are pretty easy to ignore until the end since they dont move much and have relatively easy attacks to dodge
i play mobility characters like
so exploders are no threat

they arent bad on rex because disperse

Can you play multiplayer even if you never played the game? or do you need to play at least one game to play multiplayer

they’re not really an issue on MULT as some1 who plays it
rex moves around on the ground slowly but disperse/bramble volley let you dodge stuff pretty easily if you know its coming

it's usually the crowd of people who think osp is the end all be all of survivability (genuinely wanna play the game theyre playing 🥹) or people who think he's bad because of e8 whether or not they actually play eclipse. A lot of people also just dont find him fun.
I enjoy rex but i hate how big his hitbox is
my only issue with him is land speed
its the same as everyone else though lol he's just giant

so is captain and people LOVE HIM
i like bramble volley better than like transport mode but i wish it sent you a little farther
with artificers m1 change does lightflux give a net loss now or is her m1 not affected by lower attack speed
transport mode is a lot better because of the armour, you’re basically invincible for the duration. Plus it’s got huge damage and a stun. But yea bramble volley is underrated for sure

for pure mobility i find bramble volley better or at least more fun
i like phase blink better than sojourn even though one is objectively better
overall practicality theyre both very nice

disperse/volley are also nice because you can fly if you get a haardlight afterburner and some form of cooldown reduction

yea
damage items like focus crystal ad stuff affect all ur damage, as long as the case is relevant while its ticking (so like poison damage will go up and down if you walk in and out of focus crystal range)
but DoTs like poison and blight cant crit
does this help with lag or something or ? why does this matter

Is there even a way for void team enemies to exist on commencement before the boss fight? Only thing I can think of is artifact of dissonance, but idk if void enemies spawned that way would be on void team or if they default to monster team
it used to be possible to bring a void infestor there back when drones could get infested, but unless it works with beetle guards I don't think you can do that anymore

could you smuggle voided drones? i kinda thought they stayed behind but i never experienced it
if you can then thats probably what it was, to prevent them from getting into the fight.

yeah, dropping an infestor is probably just a death effect tied to the void aspect
but the void aspect is unobtainable and it would be really hard to smuggle it through using wake, assuming the wake buff is persistent through stages
