if you just play alone than you can do whatever you want, as long as it compiles. some things dont decompile correctly, which means you cant recompile because it errors
in those cases you need to do IL editing, and thats more complicated than editing with normal text C#

its already at 0.625s after 4, but it could be 0.5 so 
for skills default leap, bite is probably best. bite is really really strong, but both secondaries work
blight is pretty solid normally, but sots kinda accidentally double nerfed it by making it bugged with other DoT effects, and by bloating enemy health by spamming full stat cheaper elites
i cant tell how much i should recommend it still when it is much more likely to feel worse in the current game state. poison also is bugged with other DoTs, but being 10s long and resetting duration on reapps instead of stacking makes it easier to not have it drop, and dropping is what causes the bug. you expect to drop blight by design, its just not important to maintain a stack at all times
if you do take poison then on kill items can be nice because its easy to set up big chains of low hp enemies waiting to die, also a single stack of guillotine is good because it allows poison to kill elites on its own
focus crystal boosts both DoTs so thats good
that’s probably the max for display, I’d assume damage dealt just stops at the integer limit. Which is over double that amount.

Gunfire reborn does the same display thing but it actually caps the dmg
so you can't go for strong single shot builds later on and are forced to get weapons that fire the fastest

If you're going for Rex, easiest ways are probably:
Loader speedrun (artifacts and go straight to teleporter)
Mul-T in multiplayer and put the
in second slot
And remember lunar seer stage 3 to hopefully choose your stage 4

your total movement speed is halved that includes bonuses from items

I logged on after the big update when they had all the issues and bugs and I had nothing, all my settings we're saved but my data had been wiped. I don't mind getting it back but it keeps reoccurring last i checked

If u wanna get everything faster without doing all the challenges again u can get the realercheatunlocks mod which lets u unlock achievements with just clicking on it

Luminous also has that funny quirk where it doesn't actually have to proc off of a primary skill, it's more like using your primary activates it, and once it's activated the next damage you deal will proc the lightning bolt.
I'm guessing that's just because there's no way to differentiate whether or not an instance of damage came from a certain skill without assigning it a damage type or whatever, but it's still funny and makes the item even more pointless
With meteor I can kinda see the logic behind making it base damage, since it scales the proc chance off of the initial hit's damage. Idk about boomerang though

If you have 5 then if it does an additional 100%, it's 5 additional and not 1%, so 10% instead of6%

growth nectar straight up doesnt check how many buffs you have until the number of buffs you have changes, so if you have 5+ buffs when the effect runs out, you wont get the buff again until the number of buffs you have changes. even worse is that at exactly 5 buffs, you wont get the effect again till either you gain another buff of drop to 4 and then go back up to 5. basically you get 5 seconds of the effect and then you have to wait for your buffs to change to get more. its aweful
ive noticed jank but idk if my buffs were running out
they werent changing state apart from tonic activating, and it was 100% uptime, but it still caused some jank
so i think theres more to it than that
the whole update is just borked tbh. ive seen studio wildcard do a better job at updating ark survival evolved....

it was also a little suspicious that we had been getting teasers every few months, then suddenly they drop two of them almost back to back, and the update comes a week later
they even managed to break half the game that the update had nothing to do with. vagrant balls, imp spikes, mithrix's spinner is still desynced and the arena is straight up missing a wall...
like ffs how do you just straight up remove a wall from the final boss arena by accident?
oh yeah, and Homeworld 3 (another trainwreck that Gearbox was involved in) recently posted a roadmap update basically stating that they're gonna be taking the next year or so's worth of updates and cram it into a single dlc in November, most likely with a lot of content cut.
It really seems like ever since the Take Two buyout, they've been trying to rush things out the door as soon as possible for whatever reason
plus they shut down their whole mobile game department
its been the biggest enigma ever since the patch launched. no1 knows what it means
it seems like it just refers to the damage = proc chance thing, but it's weird that they created a new keyword that only applies to one item and is explained in the very next sentence, so it didn't really need to be there
basically this. its pretty clear what its supposed to be, but its still a bit odd
i think people get confused assuming it must mean something else, but theres literally no other effects on the item

yea eventually the game just gets laggy
the engine can only handle so much. but usually you need to be really strong to cause big issues, either from like command builds or looping
some items can also hurt performance a lot,
being a big one. But even then it's usually not an issue until several loops in
take two owns rockstar. GTA earns way more money than a small indie roguelike

the really tricky part about the framerate thing (and by extension, every single bug that arose from it) is that it isn't an issue that would have been solved with months of further testing and fixing. ultimately the reason that happened was because a single compilation flag was set incorrectly for PC, meaning a lot of console-specific optimizations made it in due to, essentially, a singular human error. for all we know that was essentially a slip-up in the final moments before launch that had much larger consequences than they could've anticipated
it sucks a lot, but I don't think that's really evidence of underbaking

It was a simple fix, yeah, but it was like deeply messed up
Hence why it took like a solid week and not a day 1 patch
They had code that should've done it but didn't work
they spent more time fixing the actual bugs that made it in. stuff that wasn't related to deltaTime shenanigans
deltaTime caused the majority of egregious issues and those were largely entirely caused by the compiler thinking it was targeting console when it shouldn't have been
If it really was as simple as changing a value it would've been a hot fix though. Glad they've been working on a lot too, though.
if it slipped under the radar (which it did) then there would've been a non-zero amount of time dedicated to finding out that that was the problem, and if that process took long enough then they may have decided to delay it a little bit so it could be packaged with other fixes that were already in the works
They also, sadly, didn't get much play testing due to the rush
Small things like "attacks feeling off" are gonna be impossible to sense without being like Hopoo himself
also something to consider is that usually, these patches are finished well before the update actually happens. With PC they can do updates as soon as they're ready, but console platforms like to make developers jump through hoops whenever they update a game (iirc Nintendo is particularly bad about it, it takes like two weeks to patch games on switch from what I've heard).
Since main update happened at roughly the same time for every platform, the PC port at least would've had some extra time for testing

it's way more lenient than it seems
a good rule of thumb is to try to get all the loot on a stage, and still leave with more items than minutes on the timer.
Items will almost always make you stronger faster than the timer makes you weaker

so you would find around the world and mostly on the path of colossus something like a cleansing pool but instead a soul pool
interacting with it you would be able to fill an item with soul(either random or selected)(and probably 1 piece instead of the entire stack)
once filled with soul the item still works like normal, but every time you use it it becomes enraged(cuz it wants to be free) and after some times it bursts, unlocking its full potential, improving its base effect for some time, until it collapses back into normal item(still keeping the soul tier and being able to burst again)
maybe someone could make a mod out of that
the halcyone shrines are basically the equivalent arent they, those packs are guaranteed to have some sots items

the green portal doesn't always appear after beating aurelionite, iirc it depends on which stage you were on- it has to be between 1-3, but the rules are really confusing

it kinda depends on the stat but for %s they usually are combined into a multiplier and then applied all at once, so like your level scaling will be applied and the % hp will come after so it will also boost the level scaling, and flat additions like steak

so basically if you get something else that would change your stats, its starts all the way from the bottom and rebuilds it to the top. so if you get an hp up and level up afterwards, it will redo it and scale up

use shards reactively! i tend to stock or expend them based on my needs 😋
for example if i want more armour and atk speed i will instead try to close distances with dash instead of using shards, or after expelling shards will if necessary use beam to regen some
you can also have such an amount where you can essentially gain a nice movement speed boost, which can help a lot in specific scenarios 😊
he just likes more hp (not shield or barrier) across the board. it gives him a lot more bonus stats in the process
