This was an actual narrative

#

It was called Finest's Downfall and it was about an NYPD patrol officer that is investigating a nationwide conspiracy, his superiors have lied to him, the media has concealed the truth of what really happened, and the US government has been bribed. It centers around a food company named Wellworth, their mission is to weaponize bacteria by using children as test subjects. Over the course of the story, Del suffers from doubt and feelings of dislusionment considering the grandness of his pursuit for justice.

Del ends up escaping New York after his brother and father are murdered in a failed sting operation, the criminals had taken them hostage and executed them in front of him. Del ends up killing them out of rage, the incident was covered up by his partner in the department who never confirmed that Del was the one who killed them.

What happened was that there was a secret operation where Wellworth abducted children from a district of Queens that happens to be dormant every day at a specific time. The kids were taken from their homes, they used syringes with the bacteria to test if their poison worked. A few days later, the kids became ill and the media reported it as a recall incident.

Wellworth had bribed the media, the NYPD, and the US government to allow them to announce the incident as a terrible mistake on their part.

Del's mission is to take down Wellworth, but he's a patrol officer that became a brainwashed vigilante. He's knocked unconscious and taken hostage by a group known as The Collective, their goal is to dismantle Wellworth, which aligns with Del's newfound distrust of society and everyone around him.

The story when Del is inducted as a member of The Collective after his indoctrination was successful.

So it shows his downfall from esteemed NYPD officer, to brainwashed vigilante.

#

With a society that has been lied to, a department that has betrayed him, and a immediate past that haunts him, Del must decide how he is going to fulfill the justice that the law once promised him.

#

Del once had a dream -- and that was to protect people from corrupted individuals. It turns out that the corruption runs within the veins of those that promised him his dream.

He became corrupted himself when he realized that sometimes justice is impossible when power is at play.

A make another turn, The more I go on, The more it feels like I'm in a maze in a blackout.

The cold wind bites at my pale skin, making a shiver go down my spine as the tension grows till its almost palpable.

The uncertainty of the dark feeds my worry, I hate it. I find myself simultaneously tapping my steering wheel more frequently, forcing me to think one wrong move and I'll crash into one of the wall mazes of the void of this racetrack. Only in this game, There isn't a second chance.

With hair whipping in my face, I squint my eyes, driving faster.

I want to get out of here.

I don't want to be in this maze.

I soon realize its not a choice of want, Its a choice of need, Without knowing, My foot presses down on the steering wheel harder.

My shaky hand glides to the top of the steering wheel for another turn.

My tires jerk against something rough as it jolts this racing hunk of metal. My breath left my lungs as i jolted. My face white as a ghost as i desperately ducked. Ready for my fate, I grip the wheel as if it was a lifeline

As i peek up towards the front mirror, My heart skipped a beat. I clutch the wheel with sheer strength and force it to make a sharp turn around another cone thrown into my way. I think.. someone may have had an accident.. great.. that only makes this darkness way more reassuring..

My chest almost hurts due to how fast my heart is beating, I take a deep breath, trying to shake off the remnants over the fear of what upcoming twists and turns that could be coming up ahead in the dark, Im panicking too much.. I need to calm down..

I look out my window to roll it down more for air - Bad mistake. All i see is nothing, Every little noise now is disorienting into car crash sounds now, my worry is playing tricks on whats dependable and whats not now.

well the news finally came in. last chapter of my hero came out in the manga, so i wanted to share some words about the series and it's affects on me, along with a nice little image of Cloud talking with the person that affected a good majority of how his character came out.

First and foremost, i gotta thank my cousin. they introduced me to the series in the first place, and it was the first anime i legitimately watched besides maybe a dragonball meme here and there. It was pretty early in the stages of Cloud's development, so to have something new like this that i regarded as god-awesome had some serious affects on the course of who Cloud became.

But, other than just inheriting the traits of our favorite little green-haired hero, it put some pretty strong ideals down for the morals I wanted to convey too. To keep strong and know that even if things may not be perfect, someday you'll see the sunshine. That helping others, even if it's just making them smile for a little, will have it's affects. And that it's ok if you don't get anything good done for a day or two, that's human. It's still ok to feel sad in your down moments, like how when Cloud had lost Sky, or when Deku had failed saving people in Shigiraki's awakening. I wouldn't exactly reccommend pushing yourself to your limit and then some like they had in response, but i would reccommend acknowledging those feelings. It's how you heal. And if you heal, and you keep headstrong in that, you will be able to see better days. And in those better days? Share that kindness. Show others a bright future's still there.

Anyways, enough with the ranting on about morales and all that. I gotta thank Horikoshi for the amazing story he was able to tell. Funny how his heroes made my heroes that affected people in the real world. Talk about one hell of a butterfly affect!

So, i think what i really gotta get out here last is one thing: Thank you Horikoshi. You are our hero.

The user's entire body is made out of a tough slime that is heavily resistant to physical or non-elemental ranged attacks such as bullets. The user can control this slime to extent, allowing them to morph themselves into large shields, blunt weapons, and even cages. He comes back home and is diagnosed with a terminal illness. Confronts all of his guilt head-on, then finally gets betrayed by Dutch in the end, then he dies alone.

You can either join a hero academy (keyword: academy, there aren't really any hero high schools in the US) or just get train to get a license once you become an adult

but when you actually ARE a hero, that's when things get a little different.

For one thing, Solo Heroes aren't allowed to have agencies

well, more like normally can't; there are few Heroes here and there who can afford one of their own, but all and all, it's only Hero TEAMS that typically have their own agencies.
