After a long hiatus having come back(to Genshin Impact) I only noticed more references(though none quite as surprising as the first). It's just so bizarre to me that so much thought and quality was put into a gacha game.
A few of the references/types I've noticed:
-Jean's character overall is a type/homage to St. Joan of Arc.
-The flower Cecilia, which decorates Venti's hat and lyre is named after St. Cecilia, a martyr, whose patronage includes hymns, great musicians, luthiers(makers of stringed instruments) and poets.
-Music is the most shockingly high-effort part of the game to me(in terms of harmony, references and the skill of the performers), Monstadt's music is deeply reminiscent of Vaughen Williams, Holst and Delius(see Lark Ascending and Somerset Rhapsody, Idylle Printemps) with it's scales and harmonies while Inazuma's is often in a Japanese Pentatonic scale. Meanwhile the music around Stormterror's Lair makes reference to Faure's Pavane.
-Dainsleif provides an explanation for why Field Tiller's have their name(specifically in relation to the First Field Tiller) which is rather incomplete, the name really goes back to the Book of Genesis:

And again, she bore his brother Abel. Now Abel was a keeper of sheep, and Cain a tiller of the ground.
^(Gen 4:2). Cain, of course, goes on to become the first murderer and was cursed to walk the earth in a way not dissimilar to survivors of Khaenri'ah such as Dainsleif(and the Field Tillers).
-In a prior post I mentioned my surprise at how the story of the Statue's Lost Oculi is an overt reference to short story "The Happy Prince" by Oscar Wilde.

Objectively, it wasnt the best written (I mean, there are literally some plot points they seem to have just forgotten about)

But they made it very clear that the movie was made with the fans in mind, and as a tribute to the games that gave it life

Visually I think things like the Pizzaria and the Animatronics were incredible, espeically considering it was literally all practical and wasnt made with CGI or some crap

It just unfortunately fell into the same pit trap as the games which was relying too heavily on you being aware of the lore of it

I definitely wouldve appreciated more actual "horror" movie moments.
