How to report to Guardians, and is my report bad enough?

Reports that are bad enough to report to a guardian:

• Racism
• Homophobia
• All kind of harassment or comments, including sexual harassment, excessive targeting, bullying, death threats and any kind of threats towards another player's health/ real life etc
• Reporting whole clans (racist/ inappropriate names, descriptions, clan teaming etc)
• Usernames and personal messages especially if they are in a language none of our guardians can speak (please provide a translation if you report this!)
• Staff impersonation
• Language non-compliance: Incase 4 or more players speaking another language throughout the game
• Cheating, teaming or boosting in ranked
• Grinding/Boosting in your games in quick game/sandbox/ ranked without your consent

You can reason and argue with Guardians e..g how you deducted they‘d be Werewolves however there is no need to do that prior to being banned. Only Guardians have access to reports and games so only they can review it and judge based on it. 😊

That’s a very specific situation and Guardians will review it. As couple it is always your highest priority to win as couple so winning as Headhunter could technically be seen as Gamethrow however there appear to be multiple factors that can be considered. If people didn’t believe you either way it probably also had little effect, just keep in mind to play for your couple. :)

I’d probably write a friendly message and wait for a bit, however that might be something to discuss in #wov-chat as there is nothing despite kicking people what you can do. Staff actually have 0 tolerance when it comes to racism as well as any other kind of discrimination: in this case (as well as the others stated in the last message of #ingame-reports-archieved) if you've reported those users in game you may also want to open a ticket to report directly to a Guardian, so that their cases can be immediately checked ^^

Hey, as fool you are able to play qith the team you want, that means you are able to decide wether to help the village or the wolves. The reports will be - as long as you are not in love with the villager - invalid and won't count towards your ban!

No that’s not really possible :) but it’s still a security measurement used as your ID for your account e.g. to create tickets so that shouldn’t be shared. 😊

I've been playing for three years now, but I've never fully understood how wolf shaman works...
I always thought that if he was lynched and he enchanted someone, that person would still appear as shaman and, by reading the wiki, I had confirmation.
However, some comments pointed out that if wolf shaman would be killed during the day (for example shot by the gunner), his power would not work. Is that so?

I have a question on the difference between cheating and strategy? Specifically I was cupid and jailer said "I'm in the cpl, prove you're cupid by telling me the cpl numbers," so I did, and he then outs the couple in the day chat. I said that was cheating because if he hadn't said he was in the cpl, I wouldn't have given that information, but he called it a strategy and said it was my fault for trusting him. Who's right?

You should ask for their number first to make sure they're telling the truth 😅 I mean it's just not very smart to give out the numbers to someone else in general. The jailer did nothing wrong, it's like asking a dead ww who their team members are and the ww reveals it to the med and the med gives the info. Just because someone decided to "throw" no matter if intentionally or not, you can't blame the one who you gave your info to 😅 since nobody forced you to give it, If the jailer shot you as cupid for not revealing your cpl, you could've reported them, especially if you were the only cupid claim. But the jailer didn't "cheat", asking for info is not a crime, but giving it can be under certain circumstances. So just make sure that the player you're talking to is actually in your team next time....

I’d suggest you to always trade large amount of roses ingame so that even if the players leave you can still report them for rose scam and if you’d agreed on trading roses against roses to just agree on it again ingame just for the record. If you’ve been scammed with a rose-skin trade then unfortunately there is nothing you can do — that is not supported by the game, so you‘d do that at your own risk. Because of that it’s not covered by the rules as you can’t proof anything such as if you’d agreed ingame etc. Either way, I am also sorry for your loss as unfortunately there is no way for you to get those roses back.

Yes, that’s reportable indeed. As villager you may only claim another villagers role if you can proof your role. Roles that can proof their role e.g. are Priest, Gunner, Mayor or if you have a ft card. If you can’t prove your role, you risk harming your team which in this case happened. That appears like some serious Gamethrow however guardians will review it 😊✌🏼

How to report to Guardians, and is my report bad enough?

Reports that are bad enough to report to a guardian, are about:

• Racism
• Homophobia
• All kind of harassment or comments, including sexual harassment, excessive targeting, bullying, death threats and any kind of threats towards another player's health / real life, etc.
• Reporting whole clans (racist/ inappropriate names, descriptions, clan teaming etc)
• Usernames and personal messages especially if they are in a language none of our guardians can speak (please provide a translation if you report this!)
• Staff impersonation
• Language non-compliance: In case 4 or more players speak another language throughout the game
• Cheating, teaming or boosting in ranked
• Grinding/ boosting in your games in quick gamesandbox/ ranked without your consent

=> If you experienced one or more of these incidents and reported all the players ingame, you can go to #bot-commands, use ?report <your ingame name> <yourxpcount> (like ?report WerewolfPlayer 12345) to talk to a guardian. They will reply as soon as they are able to. Please be patient!

Hey! They replace the gems in daily rewards. So if you complete 9 daily challenges, you'll get 45 gems in total which is actually 10 more than what you used to get in daily Rewards (35 Per week)
From that perspective, the amount seems absolutely fair, but you can suggest changes in #feedback-readonly

The best you can do is report them in game and guardians will handle it accordingly. In most cases, people just don't report, hence no action is taken. An account needs 10-12 reports within a said period of time for guardians to look into it. You can ask a guardian in DMs to get more info.
