As for random killers, you can still gamethrow as well. By f.e. playing for the village or werewolves. You should still follow your goal of winning. If you deliberately don't play for yourself it is gamethrowing. So is f.e. being AFK/not killing at all, not claiming, etc.

Claiming solo is sort of a grayzone, since you could be a voting role, etc. But teaming is never okay no matter what. Sure, you can side with one team if it makes you win. As example; you're allowed to vote with the werewolves in order to lynch a Seer so that the village can't find your role as easily. However, you shouldn't be voting with the werewolves super obviously just to get them to win because it'd reveal you aren't a villager. I hope that's understandable?

Being solo killer is about keeping a balance, but you should never openly claim role when it will lead to a guaranteed loss, you still have to stick to your win condition.

The battle pass is something you can buy for gold or gems. You get items like outfits, gems, roses, talismans, etc. for completing the stages. And each stage needs 750 xp or 200 gold to unlock. So it benefits active players with gems, etc.
And when you really don't see it it seems like a bug for #bugs .
