Afaik, no one can be banned just because of getting high amounts of XP, however, you can do be banned for grinding.
If you were grinding outside of a Custom game, you can be reported for XP boosting.
To be more exact, the rules say that you need the consensus of all 16 players in the game lobby. If there is one of them who doesn't agree with it, they can report all the other 15 players.

Since I'm not a Guardian, I can't answer you exactly about this topic, so I tried to search for more info.
They informed me that this "XP cheating" written in your ban reason is related with a system ban, which means that you tried to earn lots of xp which shouldn't have been possible to earn even by grinding (their words).
You could try to appeal and discuss about it, but the Guardians probably will redirect you to Philipp, since this is something that they can't handle. :/

The game's set up so that saying that your wolf teammates are bad causes an auto ban. So if you said a teammate's number and 'evil' or 'wolf', you likely triggered it. Teammates being offline doesn't prevent that. It's generally in place so that people can't try to out their teammates and throw the game.

The notch update ads a tiny bar at the top to move down the timer, leave button, settings button, etc (basically everything thats at the top) so that there's no issues with viewing/tapping them.

@warm dune That's a rather edgy case tbh and usually depends on the situation and more importantly how you play it out. Such strategies are generally ok in ranked but I'd advise against it in quick game/sandbox because they have high chances of failing.

With 3 rrv in ranked and faking another rrv or baiting being a common strategy in ranked, other players could understand what you are doing when something goes off but in quick/sandbox it will most likely lead to you getting killed. Even in ranked, fake only if you are confident of pulling it off and if you think you can manage if it goes wrong.

Even if you decide to fake, it doesn't have to be investigative roles you could try some other rrv or if you want to bait, imply that you are a protective role or med. If I take your example, there are many ways it could go wrong like one of the claimed two villagers might actually be bad or since your info is delayed, village might just suspect you for that. Confirming good players wouldn't really help you since you'd be suspicious and well, even with the best of the deductions the one who you think is ww might turn up being good. So, generally only roles like priest are allowed to bait as aura since they could easily prove themselves and also confirm someone else

And about WWOCS, the same thing again, a bait doesn't necessarily have to be claiming an investigative role and WWOCS focuses on individual performance since that's what they need to rank players but the game in general is all about team, so you have to mind your teammates as well. Hope this helps ^^
