Oh... I honestly spent $300 on vector magic (to vector it properly) but it's like $10 a month for the online version, also a few other apps are $10 one time purchase to vector it. Procreate doesn't support .svg files sadly 😦 also the vector drawing apps confused me.

haha thanks for the ping 😛 looks really good so far! but i would look into this and change this:

-im not sure why but there is something odd about the hair and its shading. it doesnt look as coherent. i think this is because of the shading starting and ending at random places and the many shade pieces if you know what i mean
-the binoculars for the boy have really messy shading, especially on the glasses itself
-in comparison with the female bg, the male bg "trust" seems to be forced into the design GW_pika_think while the "lies" looks more natural
-speaking of the bg, the yellow ninja stars have this random line, it gives it color but realistically speaking it makes no sense, i would see if it can better integrated

overall it looks really nice and i would love to see it coming with the fb, there are some big things which could use a fix tho

Hey ! I think the red part is a bit bright, so it doesn’t seem very "natural". Some hair strands are too thin compared to others and you should add more shading on the top of the hair. Try using shapes to shade instead of lines, and you can also keep the dark red colour for shading the left part, instead of this grey line. Overall it’s looking good, keep up the good work !

ye, but either way you should get used to a lot of layers fairly fast, even if it's just at the start
at least on pc, there are more types of layers and it can take a bit to learn all xd

Yes, using many layers saves a lot of time, even if it seems hard to do at first
I only design on my phone though, so the limit of layers is quickly reached (and I only draw with my finger, so I guess it’s why I take so much time)

imo, the only advantage of pc is how fast you can switch between tools, maybe some lining as well if you have experience

while it's easier to draw/sketch on pc with a tablet, mobile has much better lines that fit the wwo style

Although I think the eyes are a bit too big (even thought they're adorable) and I'd avoid outlines as they're allowed to a minimum amount (as of now I see outlines on the eyes and wings)

I'd say that the eyes would need the sclera (white part of the eyes) and for some reason I the cyan and lime on the shirt kind of clash with the rest of the design, probably because they're on the colder and brighter side of the colour spectrum and the rest of the items don't involve any similar colours to them

Over-all it's great ^^

The eyes have mirrored highlights. Typically, we wont encourage that.
Also it needs * Shading *. I wouldnt say the lines in the hair are shading, they appear more outlin-y

yup sure! i think you are going for some magician/wizard kind of look? i see some alchemist potions in the background as well so are you going for an alchemist kinda look? it is hard to see what you are going for due to the limited items we have 👀 but either way, it looks really nice so far! this is what i would change tho:

-the potions in the background look very bland. what about adding some sort of more colors into it? like, some darker red and some lighter red to give it the look that it is more realistic
-the red book looks very, very shiny which i dont think it looks as natural, also considering that the other book has a light source coming from the right and the red book from the left makes it more weird. change the direction of the shading and make it less light as it looks like metal at the moment
-the black smoke coming from the candles kinda dissapear into the black potion, either switch the books with the candles, put the black potion on the second part of the cupboard or switch the colors of the potions
-the hair lock that twirls around the left ear makes no sense, hair doesnt act like that

overall i would love to come see this together, but for now it needs a few fixes

The shading is very line-y, usually we advise to use shapes instead of lines to shade/highlight as it can lead to a lot of outlines being present

You can see outlines mostly in the buns because of the shading, the highlight is pretty good though so I don't think there's much to change about regarding that
