My thoughts (optimal): the bangs are nice, but very uhm random, maybe ads some shorter/ longer hair pirxes to make it mroe natural? Idk, the loose hait looks a big not with hair flow, like the hair has a fold- idea: make it more natural(right side orange thing) so idk it gows with the flow. Maybe also make the hair kn the centre more up(?) I think thats personal style,but this are are just my personal opinions :). Also make teh hair inside shaped like i sketched would maybe make it more naturally (still in my opinion tho)

Would recommend moving both iris closer to the middle of the face sipnce it looks slightly cross eyed atm also add some details to the grave like some aura or stars, and add some details to the background like stars or dots

I would advice you to: study other outfits in wov (and maybe copy one of ur fav artist just for practice)

-> collections usually have very good items (in my opinion)
-> pay attention on details like Eyes, small shades, shapes etc, mini shades
-> main thing you need to change (in my opinion): Eyes and lips (try to imitate some in game lips and create your own based of the style), same for eyes
-> Hair is hard, but from that what i just saw, you are making big process, you are on the good way, same for the other stuff

not necessarily, but it makes spotting mistakes easier keeping a clear background and having a transparent png of your design and then putting it on a background makes adding an outline/glow for presentation easier, but it doesnt really matter

(I use Ibis Paint X for my drawings)

First make sure you finish your template, then you can start your outline.
On the Layers menu, pick this template and use the Select Opacity (2nd image).
Then go on the Opacity layer itself (blue layer).
On your left there is the Magic Wand you need (3rd image).

On the settings of the Magic Wand (Cog icon), you'll meet with the 1st image where you need the Expansion (4th image).
Set the Magic Wand's expansion to 50 (so far I found this the closest to the original icons ingame).
Before using it, make sure the template layer is hidden before clicking on the filled area to expand it by 50.
Keep the expansion on, add an empty layer below your template, then fill it white (5th image).

delete the opacity layer (blue layer) before merging the template over the outline.

The way I use filter and use the stroke(both) option

add layer, use effects on the new layer, choose the stroke both and suit yourselves with how big it is and repaint the colour into white, decicind what opacity should the outline has voila

Sai's outlining by using wand tool is broken for angles and circles so I have to fix it manually 💔

I feel like the stroke tool has the same problem tho, expecially pixels often look very rough, so I just recolour the whole thing at the end and fill in the necessary gaps

Duplicate layer of all items -> Paint all white -> drag layers below -> voila

What I do is when I fill the outline in white, I redraw the edges by hand (with the opacity layer on to stay in line), it looks fine for me.

I wouldnt say its scary, I think there is a lot going on everywhere, maybe a bit too much, so it looks very overwhelming due to the details but I believe its the eye expression that throws people off (just my guess) I personally like it

probably because there’s not a lot of shading
for example on the clothes, foreground items, background

also the eye doesn’t have an eye socket
(the white-ish space under the pupil and all)
