Super pretty! I marked some areas where I think change could happen on the hair shading
The black is just to make that area smaller, and the red on the other side too (should've circled them both in black 😅)
The white is a highlight suggestion! I think adding a highlight there would be good
And the blue on the sleeves are just a recommendation, but I think making them bigger would look so so pretty and really imitate the fish ur inspired by
And another optional suggestion is to make the turtleneck top have the same color as the corset top, just so it's more consistent

You can also do like the sleeves @steel silo made but then with the scale pattern idea and seetrough and then like the hat idea maybe with like those reflecting colors and seetrough

Very pretty! I would say her arms are a bit too wide
Since you're trying to add a very tiny waist onto the red shape (which is the default body of WW avatars), her arms look really really wide
There are two options:
Lower the top down
Make her waist bigger

I couldn't draw them very well, but I think these images can help you decide what's best

Ignoring the body though, I would say to check on some tutorials about hair and shading just to get a better sense of where highlights and shadows should go, since your highlights are just outlines of the hair
And I don't know what expression you're going for, but the bottom part of the eyes and her eyebrows shouldn't be so straight
Make them more curved and connected

People generally like and will vote for unique, creative ideas and not for outfits that have been done before or role outfits since there's so many of them already. You said you had some cute ideas, I'd love to see your unique take on something instead of another Canni skin! ❤️

As for drawing apps, most people tend to use Ibis Paint X or PainTool Sai because they're both free and beginner friendly! You can find tutorials in the app on how to use the various tools and techniques, but you can also ask here if you need more help. ❤️

yeah my dad is currently using my computer and the other two I have I'm not comfortable drawing on (I can never seem to draw well on either of them) but I need a craptop to use my drawing pad, I'm currently looking for a tablet so hopefully I'll get back to drawing then, but even when I do draw I always do realism (mostly animals and human portraits), same with pencils. I can theoretically draw on my phone but drawing with fingers is hard, and I can never seem to get the game style just right. so i just want to know if the design will be fixed by the official game artists or if I should find someone that can draw in that specific style

Lovely! I would say to add more details on the hair, highlights especially
And more shadows on the parts that separates the horns and the hair
I also think the mouth looks off, not only does the bottom lip looks darker (when it's the opposite), the white oval feels out of place even though it's supposed to make it glossy
Plus the mouth is too pink, I think you could try making it more gradient-like (though not fully gradient cuz that's not allowed) and make the borders softer
Overall though, great job!

Oh yes, also add more details to the bun! Show that it's behind her head, if that makes sense
I can draw some things out as examples for you if you want, but I'm definitely not the best digital artist so don't expect much lol

You have a lot of proportion issues happening at the face, but the rendering looks great :)
First off, the eyes are immensely big and the mouth is asymmetrical, which is not the best to do with avatars for this game
I would suggest to follow the proportions of this image first, and then adjusting it so that it fits more into the style you're trying to do
The mouth is also a tad bit lower than it should be, put it higher and you'll notice a big difference
Though overall, good job! You're clearly great, especially for a beginner

Did some changes, I loved the fin hat idea but i'm was planning on this being a clan quest skin so I have the 6 items max TwT (maybe i could make a male version and make it a sale skin)
Also I tried to changed the top frills to the same color as the corset but it looked odd so i didn't change that, should I keep the front item (the fishes and Bubbles) or maybe trade it for a background so it's more consistent with the theme

Ok so it's an avatar themed skin 😊 I would add maybe a couple of features on the face ( similar to the ones in the pic) . Also , you could go for some tribal accessory ( a necklace, a tiara, earrings for example)

It looks really cute, as someone who's just a fan of purple I'd love to have an outfit like this in-game! I have noticed a few things that could be changed to improve this design though, but of course it's the designer's choice whether they implement these changes or not!
I feel like it'd be nice to switch things up a bit and add a different pattern for some parts; while it's perfectly fine to have a theme, the way that pattern is pretty much on every item makes it seem a bit too repetitive and the design starts to look bland
Specifically with the lips, having that pattern might not be the best choice, since upper lips tend to be naturally darker, while your pattern is the other way around. The sparkles on the lips don't really fit in that well for the theme too, since they're cut off at the edges and look more like scars than anything else
Also, it's not really a good idea to use a mirror tool when adding light spots, sparkles, etc to the eyes, they should be facing the same direction in both eyes

I would just like to clarify beforehand that I'm not attempting to cause anything through what I'm about to say, but I feel as though the nature of this outfit could end up being a bit controversial; again, please feel free to correct me if you think I'm wrong in saying this.
Ginger haired individuals tend to be extremely rare in East/South Asian countries, usually being of Caucasian descent, and the accessories etc seem to be from a variety of cultures across Asia, from what I can tell. Of course I fully support representing all cultures, but I've found that, especially online, mashups of them in this manner tend to be seen as problematic/messy. All these parts would probably make for amazing outfits if paired with something else, but, in my eyes, they don't really fit with each other as a whole, whether it's the cultures, colours, or patterns.
Not my intention to offend or insult, simply saying what I see, but of course my opinion may differ from those of other people

It's alright, I understand! They might've been dressing like that as part of a costume/ cosplay, but outside of dressing up for something like that, it's easy for something to come off as cultural appropriation if it's not done right.
I think changing the hair colour would help, and it might also be better if you focus on clothing and accessories from one specific culture. Correct me if I'm wrong but the clothing itself seems to be Japanese, flute is Chinese, and the headpiece more of a South Asian item? Mixing things like this doesn't really work that well; rather than doing a mish-mash of cultures, it might look better if you pick one specific style, do some research on it, and incorporate your research into it to make an accurate representation of the culture and clothing style. It's better to focus on doing one specific thing really well than to combine a lot of elements that don't fit that well together.

I think the eyes are too low and far apart to fit with many face items currently, I personally think it's easier to get proportions right if you import the version of the base with eyes + mouth as a separate layer, that way you could have it as a reference, and it saves a lot of work on your part figuring out the positioning of everything!

Because avatars are made up out of layers, hair is one that goes on top of other items, including the body and head. If it was coloured behind the body it would completely cover it, also if someone erased the body part, it would look weird with shirt items

For IBIS, I don't know what it is called sr maybe "magic pen" =))), you draw hair first, then use a pen -shaped tool in the tool panel (it's not for drawing) for template, then you choose a hair layer and delete hair. It only erases the hair, which is on the template, bcuz you have created an area around the body, you can't erase anything but it. (sr for bad English)

The design isn't very symmetrical, especially the hair and shirt. You cant use outlines (hat) and brand names (due to copyright reasons)
Maybe you can even the design a bit and replace "jumbo" with "wov" 👀
I like the palette a lot, it's an interesting combo that's rarely used. I think the background would look better if it's was larger, currently the avatar itself covers most of it

The items look pretty, but I think the eyes shouldn't be as close to the nose as they are right now, it looks anatomically strange, and the unusual positioning means people can't match those eyes to items from other outfits, like masks that take up the lower half to the face, or hair items that don't extend downwards as much, and large foreheads generally aren't liked in-game. You could maybe refer to the template with eyes to make sure it fits with the general facial positioning in-game?

It's better to avoid heavy religious imagery just because not everyone follows a specific faith/is comfortable with that, but there's plenty of skins with crosses and pentagrams used as design elements. I believe there's even a few things that use the Star of David!

Ahh, this is so cute so far! 💜 I love that the sheep looks like a stuffed animal instead of an actual sheep. It adds a cutesy vibe while the rest adds the much needed realistic, slightly creepy touch! I would personally go for an open mouth for the wolf just so there's more contrast between the two elements, but that's just me! 💜

As for a bg and fg, you could go a couple of routes. Like, going for classic fairytale with a little cottage in the woods for the background and a picnic basket as the front. There's the creepy route with a dark, spooky forest background with a few pairs of eyes peering from that darkness and bloody paws as the front! There's even the cutesy route with a wholesome sheep farm as the background and little sheep that don't understand that's a wolf as the front or even wolf pups that are dressed in the same outfit! 💜 It's ultimately up to you and whatever vibe you want to go with. No matter which one you choose, this will be absolutely gorgeous!

If you didn't already see, the new BP theme is Dark Magic and I think your style would be perfect for it! Especially that cute moon bunny girl, you could totally turn her into a magical bunny! That slime demon one would work too! I think the best thing you could do to get back into skin creation is to look at all of your art and see what you can change or make more unique to fit into a specific theme. If you have a solid base, you can turn anything into anything and it'll be less work and less stressful for you than starting all over.

No color scheme quite yet but i know the wolf will be the good ol dark grey with yellow eyes most likely! I love the paws but I’m afraid it might be hard to translate them into a flat lineless style of wov so the plushies are somewhat of a backup XD
