Ok. I want to propose to remove roses' exchanges from ranked games. They are often a way to buy players like fool in end-game althought there is nothing reportable because no one says explicitly that he is buying players like fool but fool, for example, feels obligated to help who gives him more roses.
In conclusion, I think ranked games would be more balanced without roses axchanges.
What do you think?

The ability to bann players from ur custom games, I get many players in my games just ruining the fun by throwing or just suicide. U could let the bann be an auto 24 hours, they cant enter ur games.

-Witch's poison should be green instead of red
-Forger's Sword and Avenger should have a sword killing the target (like how Sk and Bandit do)

I don’t think roses should be removed from ranked because some players only play ranked, so they only receive or send roses in ranked and they shouldn’t be forced to switch gamemodes just to send roses. Also, for exemple, it’s up to the fool to choose who to vote, they are not really « obligated ». Thank you for your suggestion anyway

I want to report a bug that actually caused me problems. Yesterday I was playing as a spirit seer, and I checked box 2 and 16, box 2 was leader of the sect (As we know, it does not kill) and 16 was Loudmouth, but for some reason it appeared to me that 16 had killed when not It was like that, and I had to appear in blue because the random killer had died, but it appeared to me that he had killed someone, that brought me problems because I literally forced the players to vote for the bad guy, since it is the duty of the seer, I hope that Please fix that, since that's what the sandbox mode was created for ...

Suggestion:Change the rolelist for sandbox as much as how quick game is being changed.Sandbox rolelist is just boring even with two rrvs.If theres no new role to come,its better that the rolelist is being changed at least for like every 2 weeks or every month.Also dont include op roles as bandit and zombie often in sandbox since it just destroys the gameplay and make it abusive.Werewolves roles should be balanced as well if there are any changes to come for the future.Like for example guardian werewolf and werewolf berserk shoudnt be added together.

For example if a player with 10 games has 5 suicides, his rate is 50%, but a player with 1000 games and 400 suicides still has a rate of 40%. Also some players have connection issues which causes suicides

More roles get added over time anyway, when they find the right ideas etc. Yeah that takes time to do, and making more roles starts cluttering the game a bit at some point, and some older roles could use reworks and fixes first etc etc.

the result shouldn't decide whether it's gt or not at all
i believe the should be mulltiple (not too many... like ~3) severity levels of gt
ie:
hardcore gt=an action that was done solely to harm your team (gunner shooting seer claim day 1)
mediumcore gt=an action that has a rational explanation, but still on a surface level seems like hardcore gt (claiming ss as aura to bait out other aura claims)
softcore gt=a choice that seems sub-optimal (single checking as ss)
doesn't have to be those descriptions/definitopns, but ideally something similar would work
the examples are in parenthasees
as far as what's allowed would go...

People dont get banned for strategies, they get banned for gamethrow. Claiming aura is possible but with obviously necesary limitations. You cannot claim this any longer if there is too much rrv;s. You cannot give random info. You cannot confirm any other info givers since they might be evil roles faking.

Yes this behaviour sucks but once again it can just as well be the result of solid plays by evil team, and the killing villager feeling embaressed or frustrated about it. Or in some cases they even get bullied/harassed for their genuine mistake and thats why they leave. So I do understand your good intention with this suggestion, but it would not be right...

So, just lost a game where I was Fool to the Villagers. I convinced Gunner to use all bullets, got SK and all WW out and still lost. At that point I disagree, because as Fool I would have then had to have been lynched or last standing. Village should have lost to Fool at that point.

@austere relic This gets suggested regularly, its on the to-do list but not a huge priority. Playable tutorials take a lot of time to write and program etc, and the devs dont wanna dictate people how to behave as a certain role (besides following the rules ofcourse)

2-We should be able to set bomb to dead players too. Like if 2 is dead and 1 and 3 are alive. We cannot set bomb to 1, 2, 3. If we could do that, bomber would have more chance at game endings.

I was in Sandbox and one of the new players was Spirit Seer and he helped werewolf, he said that two players were red but they were both good ( doctor and forger ) and it was obviously a gamethrowing so, me and others player (even werewolf) wanted to know if we could require a level for play in Sandbox ? Many new players gamethrow and random killing, it’s really annoying.

@formal crescent Hey, werewolf online does not have a dark mode so you can only have a dark mode by change the colors which look slightly weird, I agree. At all a dark mode has been suggested and the changed colors which look weird are reported before. Thank you for your suggestion and reporting it!

@runic dragon Hey, a level requirement has been suggested many times for Sandbox but it got denied by the developer by following reasons:
- it will be hard to fill rounds
- you are no longer able to play with friends
- a punishment for all new players because you have black sheeps is not really a good idea
- Users should get the same experience than experiences players
- Also high level players could gamethrow
- it would encourage grinding in Quick Play and Custom games to play Sandbox
However their decision won't be changed at the moment. You are able to play Custom games to avoid user gamethrowing. Thank you for your suggestion anyways

It is really rare to have 3 docs at the same time and you got really bad luck but removing them from random regular villager and put them to random strong villager would not make sense because compared to others, doctor is weak. I'm not sure where to put this but I wish there was a game mechanic which would allow you to press and hold one of your inventory items (hat, mask, top...) and it would give you details about where it came from and how you got it, which date you got it, which outfit set it belongs to and even who made the set or which event it comes from... (If it was gifted to you from who...) I have items that i don't even know where they are from so I think it would be cool if you could check and get details about inventory pieces

hello I have a suggestion within custom games
when creating a game with random roles you can choose to exclude roles.
For example, if I choose to have a random murderer in my game, I can choose to exclude the zombie so that it is not in the game.
but when removing that random role from the game list for example instead of putting random killer I choose the serial killer I cannot remove the zombie from the excluded random roles until I put the random killer option into play once again just to get the zombie and then put back the serial killer
This is useful since if you are creating a game and then you modify it you have to do slow maneuvers so that the game can access to have XP
I propose to solve it by putting a filter within the excluded roles that allows you to remove and put roles without difficulty

Dear Werewolf Online Team,
I think it's unfair and game throwing that some players have snippets and others don't. The players who own the text snippets can directly prove what role they have.
From my point of view, the snippets are an important game-determining function. For example, if a head hunter has a seer as his target, the seer easily can spam around with the snippets so that there are no more discussions.
As a solution (for the players who maybe dont update the game) a system would be better, which recognizes when you are playing with an outdated version and you should be directed to the Play Store to make an update.
I think you should either activate the snippets for all or deactivate them for all.
Or maybe a little cooldown?
(If there is already such a system, I would like to say that it doesn't work for me and that I can play with an outdated version.)

Sandbox games that start with less than 16 people are easy wins for village, especially at 14 or less. Of the last 3 roles to apeear 2 are evil and 1 is villager, so the village gets to keep their strong roles like gunner, seer,... But the competition is reduced by 1 ww and/or the solo killer, while the village only loses one regular villager. Maybe the order at which roles are prioritized should change so that in a game with 13 people there are 4 evils and at 15 all 5 evils, not including random voting.

So what you were saying was that if you chose random killer, you can exclude zombie but when you remove the random killer and place serial killer instead, zombie can’t be excluded until random killer option is back? And you’re solution is to add a place to see all excluded roles where you can remove them or keep them there?
@plain junco If players could see random roles it would partially defeat the purpose. Random roles hide which roles certain people get and if it was revealed to everyone which random roles are in game, it would make it much more difficult for the killers. Thanks for suggesting!

I think 100 wins is a bit too much to unlock ranked. I just created a new account because mine had an issue with randomly getting banned, and now I'm stuck playing sandbox (which is still very fun, but I want to be able to play ranked too) until I get 100 wins. In sandbox there's a rotation containing headhunter, fortune teller and head hunter (perhaps hh/fool)
Imo (because I don't see wwo removing fortune teller completely) one could change this rotation (with lots of info and bullets) a little, by making fool always be in ft rotations and perhaps nerfing to bullets role to a marksman and or jailer perhaps
My issue with ft atm is you can try to counter him by outing yourself as ft, but if there's a gunner that can shut you down immediately and there can be a hh (who might help the village) it's a very frustrating rotation to deal with

@plain junco If players could see random roles it would partially defeat the purpose. Random roles hide which roles certain people get and if it was revealed to everyone which random roles are in game, it would make it much more difficult for the killers. Thanks for suggesting!

@nocturne magnet If you check the second pinned message in #bugs-readonly you can see that the devs are simply testing out games without snippets so it’s being worked on. Some players do still have snippets but they can still be faked. Thanks for suggesting though!

Hi, I have some suggestions I hope the admins could read this.
1- a common mistake made by ww sear is when he thought he is voting while he is checking roles. So a suggestion would be to make a confirmation for him particularly when clicking on someone.
2- when there is 2 ww seer in the same team could you avoid that the second one could not check the same role the first one has already checked. It could be very frustrating when happening.
3- could you make the spirit seer able to change his targets at night? Why it is possible for some roles like serial killer or sheriff and not for him (same suggestion for det btw before the confirmation in the second click)
4- could you please remove snippets for everybody by not allowing people to play with old versions to make everybody equal at start ?
5- I would really appreciate if there is a possibility for a record of the game when it ends. Indeed, i played some epic games few times and i was really frustrated that I can't save it when it was finished as a memorable moment.
I love this game a lot that's why I made these suggestions maybe it can helps. Thank you !

- Common mistake but thats how the role works. You do it wrong once or twice and then you should learn to be alert of this... Giving a pop up every single time would be super annoying for experienced players I think, but I could post this as an optional feature that people can turn on/off?
- That can happen with villager seers, but ww seers can communicate about it easier. I dont think this should be forcefully prevented, players should just pay attention and talk about who they check to solve this.
- Not possible for detective because they get the result instantly.
For spirit seer it would make the role too complex and more strong. Some roles like cupid or arsonist cant change their selection either. Not being able to change them is something that keeps it balanced. - Snippets being removed for most players it not a version thing, it's currently in a testing phase. They might be removed completely or adjusted in the future.
- Could you describe a bit more what this recording feature wold be like? A simple text log, a list of game resilts, a video? We get similar suggestions a lot and some of it wont really be possible.

For 2 : it's more about blocking the same role checking. It's the same logic as blocking the role already checked in the day after for a seer. Right it can be for both seers villagers or ww.
3- the purpose its just to avoid misclick for these roles. It could be applied for the roles that requires a next day check except those instantly as you said like det.
4- Oh okay cause in my case i unistalled last version and installed the previous one and snippets reappeared.
5- yeah a video with text log below. I guess that's tou talk about being difficult to realize ?

1- Some roles that are already banned (like President), cannot be in the wheel (Accomplice) and random voting should not be in the excluding list of random role.
2- Excluding limit should be 70 percent because you cannot make a game which only can have a converter role as rk.

- it is for testing roles and possible bug fixes
- you can't fill rounds
- impossible to play with low level friends

i selected a player at night. when its morning that player did not killed but game gave me two players either one of them killed this player...

Like I said, if you reported them in-game, the guardians will check that report, so you don't need to worry. It's always important to report in-game first, since this is the only way to check and punish people whom break the rules.

It would be cool if they changed that, I mean the Sect Leader, I don't think it's very fair that he can be killed by werewolves, just like the other solos that are not killed by them, the Leader shouldn't either. I agree with zombies that they can be killed because they don't there is a leader, but in the sect there is the Leader, so he should not be able to be killed by the werewolves, of course his followers, because they do not interfere with others.

Sect Leader would be super powerful if wolves couldn't kill it, since it can convert a lot of people to take over majority and avoid being lynched, and convert villagers so no one can shoot it, which would leave the wolves completely doomed.

Suggestion: before entering a match in ranked, a warning must appear stating that there is not enough people from you league currently playing.
Reason: people from higher leagues can be the last player to start the match of lower leagues.

Suggestion: Counter-talismans. For example, if I want to play quick game, but hate playing as Serial Killer, but enjoy all other roles, a Serial Killer counter-talisman would let me reduce the odds of being SK.
Price should be the same as regular talismans, and they should be upgradable, like regular talismans. Maybe start at 1/10 the regular odds, since talismans are 10x

Gamemode suggestion:
-Quick games have a few setups and usually new players play that.
-Sandbox mode is for testing new roles and because of that, so we do not even play a lot of roles there for months.
-Ranked mode has more roles but we loose coins and skill points so it is not funny if we loose because of our team or converted at last second and loose
-With custom games, we are able to play with a lot of roles and setups but people play farming more than actually a game and setups may npt be balanced (the games which give xp are not balanced evertime)
-A new gamemode which has 15-20 setups (I am sure WWO community will help about this) with a lot of roles could be nice.

This has probably already been requested in one or another way, but it would improve ranked games very much if people were forced to read a shorter version of the rules and/ or do an extensive tutorial before their first round. Especially now that the required skill has been decreased for every league, there’s so many low level players (0-20) in gold that don’t know basic stuff and it just ruins the game for everyone else.

When the last werewolf alive is revealed and they decide to sell out the random killer and suicide, or reveal the rk just before being lynched, it ruins the fun for not only the rk but players who are playing to have a good time and not only to sweat that xp.
To solve this I suggest boosting the xp ww win if the rk wins by +10/+20,as a sort of "evil alliance" so that all those sore losers who can't stand seeing rk win if they don't let the game continue in an organic way and don't ruin it.

Add a feature available for leaders (and maybe co-leaders) to make quests easier to organise. Before you start a quest, you should be able to write a message that will be sent to every member that has the participation option turned on. This message can contain whatever the leader chooses to write, and it can be used to tell everyone how much exp the should earn, who should earn more/less exp etc... and it can be found in the double sword icon that appear when a clan is running a quest. You click on it, and you can read the message anytime while the quest is running

Adding extra xp for this might lead to more gamethrowing and things such as boosting sadly. Plus why do only ww get more xp like that, doesnt rk deserve abit more xp when ww win as well? Proper evil alliance also encourages solo's to not kill many wws.

But I don't think it's gamethrowing to do it as a strategy. I just say it's very unfair and should be addressed that you can just say "fuck it, I lost I'll reveal the rk" and nothing will happen. I think the problem is its a unique scenario, there aren't any similar interactions, and those that slightly resemble this are considered gamethrowing, like selling out your couple to win as village.
I wouldn't make it gt to reveal rk, as you can't win with rk alive, but I'd punish those who fuck over the rk when they already lost. I just don't know how.

You can def argue it's not at all a valid strategy since you lose either way, and in most cases they do reveal themselves and/or suicide.
There is some cases where the hh target suicides when people vote them, to avoid hh winning, thats a similar thing and it is reportable.

Other players should see our votes if we did not unvote for 2 seconds and game should wait 2 seconds after voting phase to see last-second votes. It can be useful when we accidently vote and people can vote us because we voted a good player.
Second: If no one will vote someone or pacifist revealed someone's role, there can be a selection about skipping voting phase. It can be boring sometimes.

one thing that bothers me is that any time i’m listening to music or a podcast and i open wwo, it pauses what i’m listening to. i have the in-game music turned off and i usually want to listen to my own, but when i try and play it again after it’s been paused, any time i click something in-game it pauses it again and it’s super annoying. can this be fixed?

The village are considered the winners because all evil roles are defeated, fool is not realllly a villager but also not an evil role.
Anyway I understand that you dont agree with this, but changing it to a fool win is a common suggestion, the devs are aware of this by now 👍

The only option is changing to a plain email + password login, but this is only possible if your fb account has an email adress login and you still have access to the email adress mailbox.
You woud need to log out from wwo, select login with email, enter your fb email adress and request a password
A password recovery link will be sent to your mailbox. After that you can login with those details from now on, and change your email adress in your account ssettings if you want to 👍

@west crane Sandbox is meant for testing roles for other game modes, and that should include players of all skill levels, since quickgame would be mostly played by newer users too.
Sandbox is currently also a good inbetween mode before people enter ranked, since it has a bit more roles and starts introducing rrv concept to them.

can you make it so that the host in custom games decides when the game starts instead of having the game start automatically once theres 16 people in the lobby? (or at least make an option for it.) whoever comes in after lobby is full could get an “it seems like this lobby is full. would you like to join as spectator anyways?” message as long as the game hasnt started. this could give hosts more time to kick blocked/otherwise uninvited people before the game starts and would make things like rose parties or championships run soo much smoother.

As this is a game, some people use the outfits to create themselves, but we see that black people are not represented by the hair items on the inventory!
Please, let the designers start to put black skin outfits as offers and curly/afro hair as items! And no, we don't want elfo ears that we cannot change the skin color!

Hey so theres some gamethrowers in the wwocs, may i ask how they select the people for wwocs? Foe example, one of the members in group 8 are known for using their clan messages to reveal werewolves. another example of gamethrowing is In round 4, aura seer said that jailer was good.

Hi! Today here in Brazil is the Black Consciousness Day, and as the name says, we've been noticing that there are no black skins on the store (only 2 in the lightest dark color) and no curly and afro hair at all!
As this is a game, some people use the outfits to create themselves, but we see that black people are not represented by the hair items on the inventory!
Please, let Philipp know to let you guys start to put black skin outfits as offers and curly/afro hair as items! And no, we don't want elfo ears that we cannot change the skin color!

We've also noticed that people didn't like the fact that elf ears color's can't be changed and the devs removed these from some outfits so they can fit with any colour.
Additionally, if well Devs are who decide which outfits goes into the game, the community is who make those outfits so if you have any idea for an outfit you can suggest it to a designer in #avatar-ideas and give it feedbacks or make an outfit by your own! You can find all the necessary in the pinned messages of said channel

Black outfit would be an outfit with curly, afro hair and face items that match with the black skin. Most of the items when put with black skin make it clear that it wasnt made for dark skin colors. When black people want to create themselves they cant cuz they cant feel represented by the items creates exclusivily to white skin

I fully agree with @rare sun !! Adding more diversity to the game would be really important not only to represent a huge part of people who are not being shown through their costumes, but also to create a more welcoming space to players who just want to feel comfortable expressing themselves.

Calling people racist is not really nice. ^^ People has their own opinion and freedom to not like something.
Designers are voluntary, even if philipp ask, they aren't really obligated to design what Philipp asked, you can try suggesting in a nice way in #avatar-ideas or designs your own outfit.
Though the previews appears as the designer made the outfit, i do agree that most of previews are white and I'm up to give this a post in #feedback-devs to this be noticed by Devs.
Maybe you can give me some examples of items which if well they fit with a white skin they don't with black?
Also again, we will appreciate if you stop encouraging others to spam here, continuing spamming won't lead to anything.
