@sudden dock what should be changed in quick game is more diverse role setups. I mean there are so many roles that can give info or protect and we only get a handfull of them. Instead of always getting seer with auraseer why not do seer and spiritseer and instead of always doc and bodyguard maybe tough guy and witch or beasthunter without a second protector role (since many people complain now that 3 info giving roles and 2 protector roles is too op having 3 seer roles with only 1 protector might actually work out fairly well, as long as that person doesnt suicide off course).

@sudden dock Back when I first started playing wwo, I remember there being a certain game requirement to play rank. I’m pretty sure it was a 50 games minimum requirement. I would suggest that 50 game requirement to be increased to 100 games..

3- Well, rrvs are supposed to be random, and there is a very low chance of 2 mayor being in game (as they are the only role that can reveal their own role). Unless you mean something else by "provable rrvs" I personally disagree with this idea. Thank you for suggesting though!
4- Snippets can come very helpful in some cases, by getting info out fast. How do you feel they are being misused and not working?

- No idea how to change win requirements, though you could replace the requirements into 50 wins instead of just 50 or 100 games in total.
- I haven’t put much thought into this system. Maybe have an event at the end of the game for actual players to vote who contributed to their win or loss OUTSIDE of their roles. Aura/det shouldn’t be voted to have contributed the most just because they performed what their role required them to. This post-game voting would deter a lot of throwers from throwing, because the implications would be obvious.
- Yeah, I was a bit broad by using the phrase provable rrv. In a custom game I played before, there was a role called “strong rrv” or something like that. This meant that there is only 1 rrv that is provable as in they’re able to kill or reveal people like paci and witch. It’ll would be interesting if they were to put a limit on the number of “strong rrv” ig. Though I know it’s all RNG, but still it’s a bit unfair in those rare instances where there’s mayor, witch, and mm ig.
- I don’t really see how snippets allow people to give out infos faster as people pretype their info during the night. When I mentioned that snippets were being misused, I was referring to the use of snippets to “prove” their role instead of using it as intended. I guess I wasn’t clear enough, but I wasn’t referring to snippets not working, I was just saying the use of snippets to prove roles don’t work, not like they should

the first is like, maybe you could add stickers to people in-game, that are only visible to you? for example if you're aura and you check someone as good you could add a little thumb sticker to the top left of their icon, and then if they later claimed doc you could add a doc sticker too? i think it'd be super useful to help everyone keep track of... well everything basically lol.
the 2nd, there should be a ranked practice mode: similar to ranked in the way the roles are assigned (so it can be pretty much any role) and if people gamethrow or anything they're treat harshly, but they could possibly be free, and you dont win any gold, and you wouldn't get any skill from it. i think it'd be a nice way to help people learn the different roles in ranked without having to actually do ranked (i dont ever play ranked, but i bet its super annoying when someone on your team doesn't know a lot of the roles!!)

I think voting is the best way to approach this, since adding such bonus things to the game requires a lot of technical changes - personally I think rsv makes the game more random/unpredictable/unbalanced, as you could have 2 gunners or 2 meds
- I agree about snippets, esp the 'I am role X' being an undesirable system
Luckily i havent actually seen it being used to push people and if they do, they can be reported just like any other 'role or die' scenario.
The devs have responded once to a snippet suggestion by saying that you can make your own fake snippets...
So unless we get some real strong counter arguments that it doesnt work like that, I dont think its gonna be removed :/

The practice mode for ranked has been suggested only once before a long time ago, but I do support something like that. I think we would need to discuss some more details with people who actually play ranked to get a full picture for this though

If even devs disagree, well then, I'm really sorry, but there's nothing to do. Maybe your idea wasn't bad and could have brought many good things to the game, but it was just too complex to do, or didn't take into account some aspects of the game, etc.

@sterile marsh There is a limit of 100 ads/day. But if you haven't reached that limit you can try clearing your cache. This can give you the ads back 😄
@dense bison Having it rotate each day is a little bit too much I think. It would require more server space/effort. A lot of people would also start complaining they found a setup they liked but were unable to play it again the day after as it already changed. A new setup requires some time to be known by the players. I think changing it once a week gives enough time for everyone to get to know the roles and enjoy playing it, whilst also not getting bored of the roles hence why they change 🙂

i would like to suggest junior werewolf and avenger to not be able to tag anyone in a 1v1 with the solo killer. for example, solo killer against one of them basically always loses because the jr/av will tag the solo killer and end the game in a tie (mostly for salty/petty reasons). so ONLY when they are the last player left alive with the solo killer, they can not tag him. this avoids the useless tie.

Avenger and priest and markman are good alternatives for each other as a secondary attacker alongside with gunner so I think the current setups are fine.
Witch and jailer are roles that combines both attack and defense ability so it is fine.
About Tough Guy thing, I guess 1 seer 1 aura 1 doc 1 tg is good enough. TG can both defense seer and give out info ONCE. The slot of second aura seer can be given to another weaker roles like flower child / grumpy grandma/ mayor

I have an idea for a gamemode, I don't know if this is ever suggested before or not.
Make a gamemode with a text limit. Every player can only send 3 messages a day (and if it gets too boring/silent, we can adjust the duration of the discussion and voting phase). I think this would be really interesting, because it not only counters spam, but people have to think really well before sending a message. Also I think this is technically viable, but not sure.

@fast hinge I'm afraid another level required game mode has been declined by the devs recently. and indeed in this gamemode players might intentionally say 3 other sentences and then they're unable to say something. It would be very hard to know who intentionally forgot to say the info or who just forgot there was a sentence limit.

@native epoch I’m pretty sure this has been already suggested with roses and emotes. I personally don’t think it is a good idea because it’s not rose/emotes fault, the fault is on the players. It’s like removing gunner for quickgame. Gunner doesn’t have the fault of having people that use the role to shoot random. That would be unfair to the people that actually enjoy the gunner role.
It happens exactly the same with roses. We shouldn’t remove something that people enjoy using because there’s someone that uses it in a wrong way. However, this is reportable, so in the case it happens, I recommend you to report the player and encourage the other players to report them too. Thank you for suggesting tho! ❤️

They need around twelve reports to get banned and guardians aren’t always looking at it, so it may take a bit to have them banned. However, deleting something because just a few players use it wrongly isn’t the best way of solving the problem. That’s why we have the guardian system @native epoch. It’s the best solution to this kind of problems.

We where trying to create alternate setups for more diversity that arent too unbalanced, so for that purpose a lot of games already feature doc, wich is why i wanted to replace it. Role reviews take a longer time, but we are working on it. Roles tend to require editing after submission, more so than outfits do as well.

Hi, this is an idea for the settings.
I would love a feature where you can turn off the Names of the players so you just see their numbers in the game. When Im playing with friends, I can see their name and (I know thats not just me) I am subconsciously attacking them or just inspecting them more than the others ingame. So in my opinion this feature would be pretty nice to make the game more fair and "balanced". 🙂

Right now, the sheriff is given two targets at random when the watched person dies. This is quite unfair, because it promotes luck in situations when this can be avoided. There are two possibilities how this can be corrected:

I have a suggestion, however it may be a bit extreme: Perhaps it should be made so that nobody under level 20-30 (maybe level 15 if you’re feeling generous) should be able to get the gunner role. I mean, players of those levels would have no idea what to do with this power, and may (read: likely will) resort to random shooting, even if a seer gives info - providing this barrier between new players and the gunner role will give those new players a chance to learn the game and understand what they’re doing before they get that power to shoot. With that said, it would involve the removal of gunner from quick games, since that’s where the most new players are.
This is mainly just to try and stop random killing from being as much of an issue as it is, however it may be a bit extreme since it would involve removing the gunner role entirely in some cases, a role which has played a large part in WWO for some time, what do you think about this?

@strong cedar The current system works for the most people, a newer system can cause even more bugs, so I don't think it's a good idea. Also the devs are working on the invite bug, so in a next update it should work properly 👌

Hey devs, I had a suggestion. Can you add phone push notifications for certain events as following:
- When your friends come online, so that it’s easier for you to join them in game.
- When someone invited you to a game. It would a lot easier to join game from a direct push notification on phone instead of first getting on the application and then trying to check game invites which often get lost in offers etc.
- When the players you’ve added as friends message you.
The push notifications can be disabled by users through their phone settings and this won’t be overly intrusive as well if they decide to turn off these notifications.

About the "target" thing, I assume you meant that you were hh and medium was your target? If yes, I see in that screenshot that he got killed by werewolves, he didn't get lynched by villagers, which is your winning condition 😉 If your target dies, you stay alive until the end of the game and village wins, you win. If village loses, you lose.

- I don't see how that could be useful? I mean, one can open the game but not play yet, maybe they just want to check something, donate gold for their clan, discuss with a friend, ... If you plan to invite them in a game every single time they go online, I'm not sure they'd always agree with that 😅 You can always open the game from time to time throughout the day and check at about which hour which person usually gets active
- It already exists, check your notification settings in the app to make sure you have them enabled! Also that your app is allowed to send notifications (phone system settings)
- Are you sure it isn't already the case for you? Could you please double check that? And make sure you can receive notifications from your app to begin with (see above)

@hardy lion I do get your point but it has been suggested before too 👀 And we can't really ask devs "pls make it free", it is one of their source of income 😛 We sometimes accept to put in #feedback-devs suggestions about reducing the price, it has been done for the avatar slots, but making them free probably isn't going to be accepted, and saving them in the inventory has been suggested before, as I said.
Tip: save them in screenshots on your mobile, or a dedicated folder on your computer, or a personal Discord server, where you could even sort them with categories, etc. ^^

Reports that are bad enough to report to one guardian in direct messages:
- Racism
- Extreme sexual harassment or comments
- Reporting whole clans (racist/ inappropriate names, descriptions, clan teaming etc)
- Usernames, especially if they are in a language none of our guardians can speak (please provide a translation if you report this!)
- Staff impersonation
Incidents to report ingame only:
- Gamethrowing
- Rude words, insults
- Spam
- etc.

Custom games should have a 'favourite' section where you can save custom games presets and use them whenever you want.
Right now there is the custom games history but it's pretty buggy and it gets flooded really fast.
