Avenger is unique in that it's the few village killing roles with good aura, others being Priest (self reveal, fast, too powerful and meta relies on priest result), Judge (already in another bucket). With fixed Avenger, the "protection" socially applies to both night kills and day lynches, as it is sharing the similar result to actual protectors, making relying on village info to kill and mislynch riskier.

And for Judge/Nutcracker...you're right to push me back on that one, I want to move it with Judge, but the unk aura...

And my issue, my pain point here, is the fact that you get a Jailer, who, once again, has two types of roleblock, protection and true roleblock, alongside killing, in the same slot as roles that can only kill and protect, aka, Witch and Flagger. And I always want to move it to main killer slot, which is Gunner/Marksman/Bully slot, because of that, while having another role replacing it in the slot

the answer is, replacements dont work like that exactly. there are setup cores and those cores are what decide the entire setup, having specific roles for it
like, bully + conjuror + witch + cupid, the witch here can get replaced but the bully or conjuror dont because those roles are complementary
gunner also doesnt get put with conjuror or ferryman, because they either make it impossible for evils to counter or too weak
with strong roles like this you cant be alternating, medium tree couldnt swap like that either. the weaker roles may and that alongside cores creates diversity

For first yes, it prevent non villagers from changing vote or some removing at the last second. Many situation was known and everyone here experimented it. Flower child at base role isn't "clutch" ways to use at first (Unless for turning shadow wolf into guardian wolf basically). But this role is unique, preventing evils from removing or switching at the last second (wolves for saving others wolves from lynching or anarchist trying to tie the vote) and putting a big slam against shadow werewolf if they play badly.

you still have to play their events to get them, but let us upgrade them more globally, not between events, but in any event, that way you dont need to wait a full year to try and upgrade them, you will need to wait to get it, but upgrade in the next event if needed

That wouldn’t be bad either, many times you don’t have the necessary cards to be able to upload a role, however I think they prefer to buy gems or role cards of the event before allowing that

Rl can't die to visiting evils/attacked, and GL cannot bind to evils.

Also the event roles are almost never super close.

Admirer doesnt fit cursed tree, not a role nor team swapper.
EC cannot bypass protection.
Yule and Candy dont get any benefit from dying (ignoring wolflu, thats always been an odd one)

Yule roleblocks up to 3 players that's a huge point for it and someone needs to sacrafice mandatorly so other can be useful again, candy can kill 2 players a night if ww lucky and the poisoned player isn't protected. they both kill just like jww, candy even can go up to 2 kills

I understand your point, but it would lose a little sense that as I told you before, it is not a role of support to the village. If you start to analyze all the other roles they have a point that brings them closer to their original role (admirer I see him as an inverted looter, the nutcracker supports the vote to the village when they want to lynch a villager, the wolf yule, makes someone sacrifice himself, being the same as the junior but without dying this one, that is, kill someone without having to die to take revenge, etc.)

Jr/split/kitten need to die, and party will most of the time die after using ability
