its better in the sense that it offers you more possibilities in some pretty rare situations (which is why i said small advantage) - fool/hh that prefers a ww win, two wolves and its night. you have a 50/50 chance to kill the fool and a ww if you're ed and you'll definitely lose if you're sk.

It's been like this since they made challenge xp only can be collected when you're at end of game (crazy mode doesn't count)

when the day end and challenges shuffle, completed challenges should automatically be counted and xp granted as well

That is a way to prevent you losing xp. If you don't stay till the end, xp gets deducted (25% of the total), and that applied to quest xp too. Now that cannot happen anymore and you always get the full xp from quests
