It would mark players to void at the end of the night, killing them at the end of the next day and sending them to the void, but they would know of this. Any player that used an ability on a voided player would also be voided and die with the one they used the ability on. Players that died of void would go to an alternate death chat called the Void, where any roles that interact with the dead aren't able to since they aren't 'dead', per say (so Medium, Spirit Seer, Mortician, etc wouldn't work)

But the whole alternate death chat clearly got scrapped
