1 mythic costs 240 commons, 9 mythics cost 2160 commons. Max amount of commons you can get for free in 1 month is 30 + 4 weekly challenge + 2 login rewards = 36, in a year 432. 2160/432 = 5 whole years of grinding nonstop for cards

and cards weren't even a thing 5 years ago so it's literally impossible to get that many cards as an f2p player
