So there was a bug yesterday which might have affected this. I don't see anything wrong with how it works now.
The requirements are:

• Be in a game where your role has a pool party role icon shown (equipped)
• At least 6 players need to have the icons shown (equipped)

Then all 6 players (or more, all those that have the icons) get the fool

That's why I don't understand the event. People who want outfits buy outfits, and people who want role icons buy role icons. It's that simple 🤷‍♂️ Mixing 'free' role icons with outfits causes problems:

1. It affects wealthy players who already have all the outfits they want
2. It affects players who aren't interested in outfits
3. It affects players who only want to purchase a pack of icons

Don't forget the gambling, role icons are given randomly. 3800 is almost worth 4 role icon packages

This event would make more sense:

1. Allow players to spend X gems to get X role icons
2. Include the option to offer role cards/offers to obtain role icons
3. pool party outfits collection would be logical due to the thematic link
4. more buying options: old calendars available
5. 1K role icon pack 👑

But the role icon pack is the best option 🙃 a mess of event
