To be honest, according to #dev-vote this update might not include the biggest new features but not every nice update needs those imo (not every update can be as big as the role card update for example).

And just because of this I wouldn't call it "disappointing". There are a lot of 'little' changes + some of them were really wanted by many people of the community. For example the vigi one or a change with the veteran badges.
Addionally, you also don't know every change/new feature (as lisa just explained in #dev-vote)

If you have any suggestions about new feature/changes you can create a #1052307374179885226 and your suggestions might get into the next battle pass update🤷‍♂️ ( #1063482890480005130 for new roles)

Previously one veteran badge was given for each 365 daily rewards a player claimed. This led to some confusion, hence, starting today, one veteran badge will given for each full year since the account was created, assuming that the player has unlocked at least 50 levels per year.

In addition, player profiles will only show the highest veteran badge to avoid badge spam.

Previously unlocked veteran badges remain unlocked.
