By "more" they meant more icons themselves. Last year, there were only 5 to collect and now there's 8. I think that's why they're delaying the event so people can grab as many cards as possible and not worry about missing out.

You have to use the outfit pieces to actually get the rose effect. If you don't like the outfit or don't plan on using it for anything but the black roses, then it isn't worth it. There's better things you can save for like double EXP or gem clan quests that you actually like.

Not really a waste, it just tastes awhile to get the gems. Being able to trade your unwanted Talis for better ones, an extra 10 upgrades for said Talis, and Team/Anti Talis are great for people who genuinely don't like playing sone roles. If you farm, you benefit from playing Vill win lobbies and your EXP gain will consistently be high.

Same with 2x, much better than watching ads every couple of games and even better for people who don't get the ads.

There's a reason they were created and there's a reason they're priced as high as they are, both because they make the game that much better but also because there's a lot to gain from them. You might not find them useful, but saying they're inherently a waste is just wrong.
