However, line count doesn't necessarily translate to true DPS. Some archer classes can hold and dodge boss mechanics (minimal loss of lines) while some need to reposition and get affected by awkward skill delay animation/chain (kain, marksman, pf?)

Ok. Yeah Kain’s idk which skill has a horrible delay different to another delay skill, was hard to adapt since we need spam every skill and it’s hard to track which one is on and prepare for the correct delay. Got punished a lot when i try CVellum

most likely a skill issue but unloading my charge skills takes so long and for a character designed around chaining skills and the such it’s insane that the cast animation for everything is so ridiculously bad

ive heard the pc kains can do some animation canceling magic to make the class playable but not msm it seems

a bit similar but also bit different. Just use p3 and p4 to get stacks and p1 to blow em up

to maximise line counts you want to be proccing death blessing with execs and weave in POSSESSED strike when execs are in CD (short CD btw), presets allow you to do this with pretty much 0 delay

If you fuse a lv25 node into a lv1 node, it becomes lv25, so don't worry. Just look at which skills you need more points in, and fuse once you get the ideal trio

V matrix is super forgiving for respeccing

Everyone plays slightly differently, check the pinned posts

Your main spam preset should have minimum 3 execs + strike, (Chain Sickle, Poison Needle, Phantom Blade)

P3 whenever its up, P4 to build stacks when bursts are down

You don't have to think about when to execute if you just mix them in, though, keeps it really simple. If mixed in, they'll always have stacks to pop, what's the benefit of making a fifth preset just for executes?
