You can always check where the bulkhead keys are. There's one in high and one in overload, and there are two bulkhead doors, so you need to go to overload first or you won't have a key for extreme.

I just did C1 and C3 EX last night so now I'm gonna look for a C2 high - PE clear now.
And I suggest you bring someone with resources booster (meds/ammo/tool), it's really useful in that level (after a few tries when you know the layout tho)
On C2 it's pretty much the way you like it to do, you can start like Meta said by doing the cells and go do extreme or start with overload
I've tried doing C2 PE many times and it is beginning to wear on my sanity

Just wanted to share something fun, apparently it is possible to hack the terminals by writing a short script that will brute force all 4-letter words once every 3.1 seconds.
Took about 15 minutes of a coffee break and were done with both terminals! 😄
Just on a side note, we're far into the rundown already and were in a mood for some shenanigans wondering whether this was possible - apparently it is! xD

We gave it a thought, not sure how to go with reactors this way with the waves constantly spawning
unless like three hold the waves while the forth hacks the damm thing
there was (is?) no cooldown when inputting codes, so you could literally spam every code within milliseconds of each other to brute force it in seconds
you just clear waves like normal then get the tas guy to hop on the terminal as the window opens
there were no cooldowns like in R2 or R3, then I think they added them
but will need to check that, haven't played reactors for a while now

we cheesed a2 overload so that plr 2 ran in, took the harddrive and immediately player 1 stepped into the pre-loaded extraction scan 98 99 100 survived PE completion. camembert.

as long as 1 person finishes the extraction scan with the box and you grabbed the drive before the scan reaches 100% you will complete overload

still wondering about that c2 shadow "hybrid" chrouchy guy.. 216a with giant+normal noises, sneaked around a visually confirmed giant out of the room and came back later from another direction.. approached a different bio-blip that i was certain wasn't a giant, from afar it looked like a striker.. but got close and started pinpointing and syncing and noticed this guy does giant noises when lit and is way bigger, looks exactly like a shadow hybrid.. tried to look for one in videos and wikis and guides and didn't find a single mention / picture / clip .. if those guys got punch-melee then they're not very nice.

it also helps if there are any significant landmarks like ladders or ramps/slopes
Usually when fighting waves you get to a point when a lot of enemies are arriving at once and you have to burn your burst to clear them. This is probably the best time to get tags (and you can still get early tags if you time it so that tracker is off CD for this).
They're not too bad w/ experienced groups depending on where you're fighting. Pretty easy to get vision on them if there's not very many of them at a time.
Easier w/ weapons that forgive low accuracy, as well, since you can just get a general idea of where they're pathing and still be somewhat accurate.

I've just been putting sniper rounds in their back when I can since the sniper also drops the other big bois you come across in the next couple rooms of rooms in one hit...
The only issue I've been having is the my entire team just loses cohesion when those charges start showin up and we just start sprinting into the next couple of rooms panicking to find the HSU before we run out of ammo (Usually only have enough for like 4-5 rounds of em plus the ones already in the rooms)
Looking at the map tho I can see somehow we've just missed the terminal every time which probs would've made it a lot easier to find it
The trick to giant chargers are hel rifles and stagger
Trick to B1 high is rush terminal, ping hsu, rush hsu

if they dont line up you shoot one and by the time you can shoot again the stagger is already over
hel rifle buys you no time against groups of enemies when not lined up
thankfully the AI isn't exactly proficient at rushing and hitting you

yeah they do sometimes decide to straight rush but after getting staggered they don't seem to do it immediately
but i haven't played a lot against them either
they shower you with ammo because its big charger error on a B tier
your best thing to do is spam weapons
hel rifle is bad because you literally can't use all the ammo you'll have
you pick a weapon with less damage/ammo that shoots faster and things will work out way better

hel riffle is what the burst riffle is to the assault riffle but for the hel gun. aka one is better but you trade of something in order to boost something else

Line up is easy, stagger the first one then use A or D to position for overpen. It’s only stressful if you don’t know where the terminal is cause you have to HSU hunt and kill a bunch of waves
If you know where terminal is 9/10 times you can be on scan before 1st wave gets to you

It sounds to me like all that really plan to do is add more enemies that are hard to kite or hinder movement, which I think is a very incomplete solution, same as stamina, doesn't address the real problem.
I dont even think theyre gonna add a new enemy at all
qol and maybe tweaking some mechanics for sure
I do want new enemies and not just new variants of existing enemies.

stamina addresses long kiting and will make it so your close combat a lot more. While it may not address circle kiting they may improve sleeper attacks for R6 or come up with a fix for it. We'll have to see when R6 drops.
I personally like the dodge/dash mechanic but its hindered useless since you can just walk to the side and get a better effect. They should definitely make the dodge/dash more dependable for its use.

plenty of tiles where you can outrun enemies at walking speed
plenty of layouts that provide very fortunate doors that let you get massive gains on them
sounds like the only real change to long kiting would be an extra layer of layout based rng on how doable it'll be
and the funny thing there is that the parts where you'll probably get fucked is long hallways
