It's all about where the optimizations have been implemented or not.

And you really feel it w/ AR, as well. You have a weapon that does nothing, and a weapon you can actually rely on to do things occasionally.

@warm prism The idea of 4 x AR + Sniper being the worst possible loadout on R8E2 is that you massively lack sustained waveclear options, and if you try to use Sniper for waveclear it is too inefficient to use the whole time, so the idea was that no matter how much ammo you saved and no matter how well you shot the class 6's would just straight up kill you.
Arbalist is massively better at sustained waveclear than Sniper and is efficient enough (we're comparing it to Sniper) to be able to shoot the class 6's.
I think the only place 4 x Arbalist might struggle is during code 3 reactor, where you might run out of ammo because of the Shadow Giant spam + Tanks. But like, I think there are a lot more ways to play around that (you can leave the tanks alive and just finish reactor and slow kill them later) vs the 4 x Sniper's class 6's lose condition of you-must-complete-this-S-scan-in-a-respawn-zone-or-you-die.
