Idk if this is already solved or not, but I wanna give my opinion abt it. Considering that the sounds in the audio do not vary a lot, the audio is definitely a signal. A thing to notice is the bad quality of the sound, this means that either the signal recorded is corrupted, thus old, or it is picked up from a place that is far away from the origin. Considering the depth of the mining complex and Red Alpha, I believe the source either comes from the surface of Earth, which to me seems unlikely due to the way the signal sounds, but that can be easily countered by acknowledging that the GTFO universe is set into the future, so encrypted signal transmission might have changed. The other possibility is that the sound comes from deeper levels of the mine complex, which is not impossible because the file could be an old one, perhaps pre-NAM-V outbreak. The final theory I could think of is that this is transmitted from Red Alpha, which explains the bad quality of the file and it might also strongly affirm that Red Alpha is in the same universe as GTFO, because otherwise audio files would have never been able to be transmitted solely because of the complexity which such a task would require, you couldn't possibly link two different universes and expect for laws of nature on our universe to behave the same way they do in the other universe.

So as a final note I believe that this is an encrypted signal, with whatever content which appears to be greatly damaged at the point when it is or was picked up, which probably happened because the signal has high chances of coming up from Red Alpha, which could suggest that Red Alpha and GTFO exist in the same universe due to the capability of sending signals back-to-back

As far as we are aware there is no cure, no potential cure, and extremely limited treatment. It has a 100% lethality rate within 5 weeks.

I know a lot of people on the surface were hopeful for a cure... but a lot of that was just hoping to track down the source (garganta), going there, and getting their ass beat by sleepers

In og the WHO team did it and died, in alt// the Daylight Mission did it and died.
