Those are some of the levels in the current rundown, previous rundowns also had levels marked as A1, B1 etc. but they were completely different

Really? Why not? I felt like the special revolver was doing work in some of the runs I've done since I started playing this weekend.
I don't think any of them are never pick personally. Some are definitely a bit better than others but a lot of it is personal preference. I don't mind running the revolver
No such thing. Every weapon has strengths and weaknesses and their value changes depending on the level your bring them for, or quality of teamwork.
Currently I've seen lots of people shit on Bullpup, as slow-ass reload speed is a literal killer, but if you trust your teammates to hold the horde back for 2 seconds - you get eo enjoy laser precision and 0 recoil.

Blah blah. Even if it's worse - it's not bad enough to avoid it completely. The fun factor is strong. Choke mode got boring after 3-4 deployments, but I'm biased. I gave up on it after using it for R6C1 where I had a very bad time with it.

There are worse weapons.
And then there are bad weapons.
There will always be the min max tryhard King that is the golden standart at 100% efficiency. And the rest are compared to him.
If the guy in 2nd place is like at 95% efficiency - that's fine by me. 5% are not worth to bitch about, and so you can pick the guy for completely arbitrary reasons like cooler visuals, sounds, anything. Hell, just being different for the sake of it, screw the meta in the A.
But once we start hitting real bad performance, like 75%, then justifying such item's existence is no longer possible. It can look cool, sound cool, be the most beaituful weapon in the game, but jesus christ will it feel wrong to play. You want to, but it just hurts.

How fast does the shotgun sentry aims? Are you supposed to put around corners to ambush sleepers, or do you put it at a range that gives them a second to get close?

anyone here has tips for doing B2 solo? i got to near end but its really hard to defend when i put commands into terminal to uplink_verify and the bots dont shoot/let the enemies swarm into us
i got lucky my bots decided to be useful for second term, i just did it solo 2 days ago i think
they succesfully defended me once but i rushed through next room where theres 2 scouts, i headshotted one didnt know about the 2nd and died haha
then they failed to defend me every time sadly

if you feel comfortable bonking scouts then try that, theres nothing else in that room
otherwise take a sniper and get as far back form the door as you can and shoot from nearest to furthest and you should be ok
i would advise taking sledge if you newer cuz that way you can bonk em at any angle, bat and knife need to be back hits

The HEL shotgun definitely needs a buff, consistency at any range is really awful. 2 shot kill if you get lucky, 4 shots or more if you aren't; and that's when barrel stuffing them.

I swapped it to half and my entire game froze.
It sounds great, it looks great, it performs pretty lackluster though. If the spread was just a tad tighter it would be both fun and effective

theres a glitch with GTFO that when you go threw a door and someone holding a powercell when you respawn you will the powercell in your hands

So I’ve found a temp fix
So first get that person to insert the cell into the gen, then make the person go down, finally get them to leave and rejoin while downed
The other fix is to avoid holding the power cell while doing the checkpoint in the first place, but people forget, it’s natural

Yea if you pick up any heavy object before a checkpoint it can get stuck regardless if you're holding it during the scan or not

Heyo - quick question. I am diggin this game a lot. However, I am leaving the country for 2 weeks and wont have access to a gaming PC (Dammit Steam Deck Delays!). I am new to the game and curious, with a "campaign" release having only a finite amount of maps to run, is it fair to assume its a seasonal game and I could come back in 2 weeks and not a lot of players anymore because they have already completed the 7.0 campaign?

hey guys, how exactly does the armor unlock system work? does it randomly give you a piece of armor every time you finish a floor? can floors be repeated to continue getting armor?
theres an existing pool of apparel
you get a random one when you reach a milestone (right side of screen)
for different milestones there will be different pools
only unique clears count
to achieve the "10 mains" one you'll have to beat every level including E1
The unlocks tab on the side of the rundown screen will show you the set drops and the random drops

hey really new to the game (only tried out this free weekend) was this heavy fog in the previous rundowns ? I tried it out with only one of my friend but we couldn't do anything effective about that and got stuck on those maps with the fog. how effective are the bots ? in the first 2 map it was all fine, but here in the fog they also struggled
bots are fog/mist immune, they see all and infect 0% .. b2 fog was one of the densest i've seen since r5
literally standing touching a door and still having trouble reading the room marker on it
umm I think yes the B2 was the 1st foggy one but tried out the B3 (sorry the game is not in front of me I'm still in a research phase if it's worth a buy) and C1 with the infecting fog too
c2 has great spoilery fog stuff, a very fun cool level altogether imho

fog is thicker this rundown then it was in R6. If i remember correctly, R6D3 had the thick ass fog but they nerfed it so it was the slighly thinner fog

fog is a game mechanic, almost every level has either mist or fog to some extent

As for me personally, I do think that price wise it is a little steep so I would recommend on a sale.
I did originally buy the game to play with my mates which I was unable to convince them to also get it, but that was several rundowns ago and now I'm giving it a shot with LFGs, and with the single LFG I've done, it left me with a dumb smile on my face.
Overall, with the gameplay. I sincerely enjoy it, it's that difficulty that's hard but gives you enough wiggle room.
- atmosphere (that applies to most rundowns except R3 & R6 imo)
- "hard" (it's still a joke compared to previous rundowns), quite punishing
- Enemy design (except for one enemy in R7E1, the rest is globally well thought)
- Requires people to communicate & not act like baboons
- Bugs every freaking where (sniper melee, softlocks, crashes, cheesespots)
- Almost no replayability as the devs do not want people to grind
- Too pricey for what it's worth
- Non-existent communication with the community (except for Calle)
- This one is personal but no dev stream to see how the game works
- Shitton of RNG that can make the game incredibly easier or harder
- The difficulty is based off bullshit mechanics (such as error alarms or toxic fog)
