i assume you need to wait for a stagger to finish on a giant before you can apply a new one correct?

Let's say each broken limb makes the giant go under a stagger effect for 2s
the optimal way would be to break a limb every 2s to maximize the stagger duration
However if you break a limb before these 2s, it will reset the duration of the stagger effect
which means he will just stagger a second time?
cause you can stagger on a backhit with 40% on sledge

Yea it can for sure up to 12meters
after that there is falloff damage, but you should be able to still
so in general: you wouldnt recommend the revolver, do i get it right? ;D

get into tentacle distance then shoot her on the back of the head

it excels at killing small guys in 1 hit to the head
but aside that, not really
expecially considering the rest you can use
also being able to kill scout can help
but if you give it to someone experienced they'd just melee these scouts anyway
revo has its place since if you actively participate you can defend entire waves and save ammo to your teammates
its a low maintance gun
1 ammo its like 20 bullets wich its good
you can deal with giants by hammer stagger and emptying the mag on the back of them
true, efficiency wise it really shines if you are landing headshots
Everygun have its pros and cons, how you play around them depends on you
there are a few guns that have around the same efficiency as revo, but we are talking AR and such..

to tell you one, Machinegun has like 50% more efficiency than revo

ive mention it before, the raw numbers are there but ive never in my life seen someone pull 100% of those numbers
if you can hit the back, you get x2 damage
at the end of the day it depends on your playstyle, and how experience youare

usually you want to stagger by shooting the legs and proggresively go up

that you do all the commands by yourself. what they should pick up and when and to whom they give it.
Switching something in a box is necessary also
I mean if we got two sentrys with us and one mine deployer and we know that we are just going to need the sentrys for our next steps bots will refill mine deployer if it has the lowest ammo.
just commands in command system where you can lead the bots in every step. What ressource pack or even consumable the should pick up and when and to whom they give it.

are there any plans to work on hit feedback/enemy attack feedback? I feel you can often not even tell you are being meleed or shot. i am also very weirded out by the shots just homing towards you
you used to be able to tell when a shooter shot almost hit you before
I hear you and others that you want to be able to micro manage the bots more. It's feedback that will go up to our game designer to consider. Though as I said at one point, we want the bots to be smart and help you, and avoid the tedious aspect of having to micro manage. Personally I don't look forward to having to think for myself and 3 bots to tell them everything to do and feel like it'd get pretty boring and old. But that's just my personal opinion.
only two things i personally am missing from bots right now is a "get over here now" command and a "use melee only/fire at will" toggle
letting a bot set up a sentry and then they just stand in front of it absorbing the bullets is hilarious, but should be circumvented with "get over here"
if players want the bots to act by themselfs they can switch it on in settings. If player want to command every step of bots, then they should also get that option. Maybe that would be a thing that make both sides happy

Between the massive aim punch, the sounds, and the screen going red, I don't understand how people don't notice getting hit
i feel those effects just do not play sometimes. it also feels like projectiles sometimes just aren't rendered. you just get hit without anything happening
one bad things about bots is that its really hard to stealth giant strikers with them
As soon as I hit the striker once they just run up and immediately all get punched and die
Like every once in a while they will actually hit and stunlock the striker long enough to kill it but most times they just get smacked and die

it used to be that you had to complete optional objectives to advance in the rundown but now it's just for apparel and the added challenge

and then 3 high's and one extreme for c
6 high, 2 extreme, 1 overload for D
might be hard to convince the boys to have the runback with B2 to complete both objectives. Completing the second objective wasn't necessarily super hard but it fucks you so hard when you try to go the sec door for the main objective. I still think we could do it (since we know now what you're supposed to do to complete the entire mission)

Completion is the main motivation. You haven't really beaten the rundown if you haven't done all objectives, and for most people it'll be about completing as much of the content as you're able to handle rather than clearing the whole thing each rundown.

specific clears, you can see the requirements on the right side of the rundown page

the high/main clears are just beating the level, and the 3x or 6x is how many levels you have to beat, 3 or 6
not every level has extreme/secondary and overload, if you click a level it shows you what sectors that level has
the "priority expeditions" are all of the _1 levels, and give rewards by themselves
I think I get it now.
So you get 1 cosmetic each for beating priority sectors, and then once you have beaten a certain number of sectors across all maps, you unlock a cosmetic at each milestone.

you could also try increasing the priority in task manager. for me it doesn't really do a ton but it does do a little, but I do only increase it one level so nothing on my pc completely breaks

Where is the second part of the scan in C1 zone 152. I did a run of that with friends yesterday and we ended up quitting there because we finished the part where you slowly walk along with the scan zone through the entire pit area. And then it keep saying that 'finish the security scan to stop the alarm' but we couldn't figure out where that scan is.
Could it have bugged out for is maybe?

Yeah we completed it to 100% and were all the way at the top at that point.
The scan zone we were following also disappeared at that point

they can also work as really shitty glowsticks in a pinch because they have a very feint orange glow
Not sure if bug or not, but BOTS do not gib the enemies when using melee. Whenever they melee, it looks like they just tickle the enemies to death.

i missed the info, what does the "completed [-,-,-,-]" mean? the first dash seems to be the number of times i've done the missions, the second dash seems to mean a secondary objective has been done, but what about the last two? did i miss secondary objectives or is there another version of the mission

The only 3 things that allert her, aside bullets, are sprinting / flashlights / touching her with your hitbox
imagine a bar where you can wake up a a standard sleeper
flashlights and walking will up that bar
running will instantly 'wake it up'

Out of that list only the hitbox and bullet would be an immediate awake, and a sleeper dying near her
@peak lake also if you are trying to learn melee, know that she becomes invunerable when she needs to scream, so avoid
- touching her hitbox when meleeing
- running trought the feelers, as it'll make her scream faster

It's what i saw on the wiki, and i had much higer success without sprinting, aside to allert her
experienced players will run through them but don't do it till you have a few hundred hours if practice
you have around 0.5 seconds to kill her after triggering a tentacle

The zones in this game are sort of confusing, for example I think we were in C1 yesterday and needed the last data key in zone 153. We were exploring every bit of the north portion of the map where zone 151 was and logically figured it would be up there.
153 was all the way near the beginning of the map, with zones like 147/148. Is this normal? Is there a way to like ping an entrance to the door that will take you to that specific zone or something?
zones are numbered in the order you should tackle them usually, but it gets a bit funny with optional zones

nope, sec doors get different IDs than zones
but u can query them to see what they lead to
specifically. all zones they lead to, and what zones are behind them
can be a bit confusing so its better to just look at the security doors themselves
you can also look at the top left of a security door and it will show you what zone you're going to

Depends on how you want to look at it
Both stagger in 1 hit, so it's either if you want the one that
- has 8 shells and kills in 1 headshot + 1 bodyshot
- has 15 shells and kills in 1 headshot + 2 bodyshots
I personally prefer the normal pistol for a higer stagger potential, many prefer the HEL revo even for the 2 hit kills alone
For the rest they are pretty similiar.
HEL revo has pen and can 1 hit kill the || flying enemies || in the weakspot doh.

Says pistol has 8, but in the doc i see 6. Also ye it says 10 on hel revo, so another good thing to keep in mind
Pistol has better hispread too. And with that i believe there isn't much else to it

solo? hell no, unless you plan to play AT LEAST with bots, which is doable, but the best way is with a full squad, which you can find in the LFG chats or matchmaking

Solo is doable on SOME levels, but you need to be quite skilled to do so
solo is definitely possible without bots, it just takes a lot of skill. not really on R6A1, since it's one of, if not the easiest A level yet but B tier and up is where it takes lots of skill

There are (were?) some solo speedrunners on YouTube in previous rundowns, though I'm not entirely sure if anyone has made it far in the current rundown as of yet or if at all, especially with the kiting changes.

yea definitelly has. In the past (talking R1/R2) soloing was a pain as there was lack of knowledge and not many had enough sheer experience to do so

i cleared R1A1 a long time ago as a solo.. but i won't tell you i was skilled enough, i'll tell you i used Cfoam nades for most of it
As for some reason, these were very common in that level
I can't speak for R1A1 or R2A1, but out of R3A1 and up, R6A1 is the easiest
i feel like these weren't difficult by themself, it's the lack of knowledge that made it 5x harder
we didn't even know how to hammer scouts at the time
probably to make it easier to learn the came with all of the people getting it with the release of v1.0
we barely found out that standing still in their path worked
so you can imagine how that went
now we know you can sprint into them under right conditions..
and then people got brave and bHopped through the tentacles while they were extended

you could stealth clear rooms by jumping like a bunny through them

now you need to release shift in the air or you make more noise and you loose stamina now

Bhopping was a bug that when you were jumping while sprinting you werent making any noise

one of the biggest things about bhop was being able to go at sprint speed with very little noise
so you don't make noise while sprinting for about 0.2 seconds (or used to) and it resets every time you land and you wouldn't make any noise in the air and there wasn't a stamina system so you were full speed the entire time
hey so yesterday I killed a shadow scout and it still screamed and then later I killed a shadow sleeper in one hit but it still managed to wake up the room. Just wanna know if i'm doing something wrong when it comes to shadows?

well you can get yellow hit marker on a normal scout and it still screams

yeah according to them i hadnt killed it but on my screen it was dead
just gonna chalk it up to latency or something
I think that it might also be that there is a little delay from when it goes invincible to when the hitmarkers go white

Like it was dead lol. I saw it fall over but i saw the scream animation come from the place it would have if it was still alive and standing up
just sprinting gets it up to 140 ish and jumping while sprinting gets it to 187

interesting.. maybe in the future we'll know more about it. It definitelly felt harder to keep the dodging up as the fights got longer and longer

breaking a limb is a guaranteed staggered, itll stagger them even if theyre mid stagger animation
that's how you solo melee a giant

charging teh hammer to 70 to 80% is almost always a guaranteed stagger

Trying to do the secondary objective in B2 where you have to uplink on terminals. Already died 2 times before and now when i want to start the uplink screen shows: "ERROR. This command only allows one use. Command has allready been called." Is this a bug or what can i do against that? Had that problem for the second time now. Appreciate any solutions.

after dying for the first time, audio sound has changed. It sounds very weird, sometime there is absolutely no sound for some activities and me and my mate have the "red line" signal for friendly fire permanent in our HUD. Does anybode else also had this bug? Or one of the bugs?

Sound bugs have multiple causes
The most common would be exiting while a scout is screaming
or if like 4 scouts scream and the audio adds up and cuts out at some point
thankfully it should be fixed before christmas

@raw cloud That's an indicator for friendly fire, but there is a bug that can cause you to get that indicator when a different player's sentry gun shoots a teammate.
so, why is it when we collect like 5 or 6 artifacts in a run we only get 2 at the end?
every artifact collected grants .025-.15 points depending on the heat %. u need to get 1.0 points total to get 1 booster for their respective category.
game really needs some kind of built-in information page that mentions stuff like that and more details on mechanics and gear data
such as "(weapon) does Xdps or per-bullet" instead of "does low-medium-high damage"

To be clear, they're still two room, it's just that rooms between difference tiles can have archway dividers instead of doors between them.

room dividers that aren't doors are pretty obvious if you take the time to look. they normally look like a really thick support beam or somewhat of an arch
Also, not really true, uplinks just only spawn in the same zone (for single-terminal uplinks).
normally it's 2 rooms away but if the zone is too small then it will be one room away or on top of players if they're in separate rooms

no idea but a good example is R5A3 with the class 3 cluster where there's 2 metal doors but in R6A1 there is an arch for one of them but the other one would be behind about 1/2 a meter of stone

Yes, they do have notable differences between their breakpoints, and some interact with kiting differently.
I would pretty much only recommend sledgehammer rn, frankly, imo you only really lose out on things you can do with the other melees.

not there, that might count as neck shot
and occiput just means the back of the head or skull
you want to aim about a thrid of the way down from the top of the head so you don't miss and so you don't accidentally hit the neck

No precision multiplier and they just happened to overkill things by a lot.
So, it's largely by accident.
Rn, though, they still have full precision and are balanced around that, which means their damage is on the lower end for main weapons, the most damaging of which tend to have low precision.

There's also reactors where most people are defending and only really one person is off solo retrieving.
R4E1, R5D2, and R6D3 are somewhat like that.
I just remember doing R1C1 for the first time and not yet knowing what the objective was. Finding a ton of resources in the rooms leading up to the reactor and being like "wtf are they fattening us up for?"
R1B2 was the newbie killer.
If you weren't very good, it was extremely hard. Enemy density was pretty high.
