i have used reshade with the clarity1,clarity2 and image sharpening filters to make the game much sharper and clearer. if you check gtfo media i posted two screens #gtfo-media message
i hope this helps! My friend who has visual snow got a severe headache with the normal way the game looks and couldn't play it at all but thanks to the reshade settings he can now play it without a problem

if a level has only main, 1,-,-,-
if there's main sec overload available, it's 0,0,0,0
then you do main only, 1,0,0,0 etc
Now here's a good question.
Had a team running spear, 2 knifes and a mallet.
On a big striker we landed 3 back hits and i (mallet user) got the back head hit, but it didn't die.
I assume knife is just bad in this case, unless you let 1 of the knife users get the headshot?
I strictly run a mallet cause big guys takedowns don't SEEM doable with knife / bat
Same for || chargers || as a solo
Haven’t tested it myself but considering knifes do low damage I wouldn’t try to stealth kill a big guy with more than one knife

That thing takes a while to charge and i know you can barely do it with a hammer

so it might just be that you need less charge to stagger
full charge spear to back of head, then full charge chain stun to body, as long as u dont miss

I know you can do that with a mallet too, but it is down to rng as you need a bit more time to charge the hit

Is the rundown 3 music the only one that plays when you alert sleepers? its getting a bit old on my end and i don't wanna low the music's volume
can anyone explain how the matchmaking works? let's say I am in a lobby with 1 other person, do I need to click on the matchmake icon for the other 2 empty slots for more people to come in?
because sometimes when I click the matchmake, it yeets me out of the match
and tries to make a new one
and sometimes it seems to find a match, the "waiting for match" disappears, and then I'm just in an empty lobby

I think they should have rundown specific cosmetics that you are garunteed by playing a certain level that could be unavailable for future rundows then a pool of cosmetics that carry over between rundowns but you have to rng for them
i think that is the current system
like there is a certain color pallete for beating d1 that i don't think you'll be able to obtain in the future
i'm just concerned about whether or not it's possible to collect all the pieces before they decide to rework the general pool

Yeah but in D2 & E1 last rundown there were several points where it was your only resort until you get through an alarm and get some packs on the other side. It seems like now if you don't have ammo to survive an alarm you just have to reset the level.

there's never been a timer from the start and I don't even think that's something they plan for

Guys does anyone know that there is a bug in B2 Extreme. Since when i do the uplink(i am not the host),in my screen he said that i had finish my uplink, but in host and others screen it show that i failed either the IP and verify

we did b2 ex 225 scan first, wiped in 224, retried, went to 224 first, succeeded, did 225, went to main, extracted, zero problems.. so cp doesnt automatically break these everytime, luckily..

I have 4 people to play with but two of them approach the game with a "just have fun don't try so hard." which ends up with me and my other dude carrying them, we did containment last night and they literally just let infection get to max and think that it's alright to run around one shot, Ide rather play with bots at this point.

IMO pistol is good for ammo and precision if you can aim. So is DMR. For auto weapons I love the malatack feels like a good balance of stagger and dmg. But I just started myself so definitely take that with a grain of salt.

Sectors are a mechanic which adds optional objectives to the game, ranging from altering the game state to adding other objectives. The following sectors are available:
High (Main Sector)
Extreme (Second Sector)
Overload (Third Sector)
Prisoner efficiency (All three Sectors in the same run)
Multiple sectors can be completed at the same time. In order to unlock certain tiers you will need to satisfy their sector requirements.

for an experienced team, usually no.

for missions, artifact heat obviously goes down each time you play and pick up artifacts. Does artifact heat regenerate over time for each mission or is it stuck where it is?

Either way i would recommend using discord lfg, higher quality players and less trolls

Extensions, in my view, have mainly been an EA feature to pad out rundowns so that back-end content can be focused on.
Ideally, 1.0 won't need that, we'll just have reasonably short rundowns.

hi, what should I do if I spot cheaters in my game? had 2 players using some sort of trainer that gave them infinite supplies and godmode

how viable are bots towards the end? I've only completed 2 missions with 2 bots and a friend and it worked out decently well, having the bots use sentries and pick up items

Dont use in game matchmaking, use the discord matchmaking, usually higher quality players and never experienced cheaters. It's also region based so you probably wont get matched with chinese players
I saw a comment earlier which is true: bots can replace terrible players, but they cant replace average to really good players. Try doing C2, C3, and D tiers with bots, pretty sure its impossible

They can really replace no players though. Which is great for incomplete teams to have extra firepower and a tool mule
I don't know how complex the game could get later on so i'm gonna assume it just makes it harder. I'm going to guess there will be situations where there's 4 sleepers grouped together that you need each team member to handle all at once
and you can't have bots stealth sleepers yet
They dont trigger enemies by moving though. So their great for quickly hitting alerted ones without setting off the whole pack

I guess I haven't really noticed but do commands that don't directly target a bot do anything? I spammed the "keep quiet" command a lot but i'm not sure if it actually affected bot behavior or not

I guess you can try, its going to be extremely difficult later on tho. Especially the missions where you need tons of coordination. Why make the game harder than necessary tho? Just use the lfg matchmaking system, you can usually find a couple extra human teammates in 1-2 minutes

Because it'd be hard to find one same group to play with every time. would prefer to get through the game with the same peeps. I'm already playing with one friend. Playing with randoms, even through discord, is always gonna be a diceroll of personalities and skill levels. Hey so I run the game on a i5-10400f and an RTX 3060. The game runs very well on standard graphics usually however I have issues with frame stuttering once in a while in every level. This occasionally happens seemingly randomly when opening doors or walking around corners. Is there any way to fix this?

jumpscared me the first time i encountered them
You could also consider turning a corner into an enemy in your face to be a jumpscare too

Is there a way to 'Region Lock' the game to my benefit? Being on the west coast my matchmaking is almost exclusively with people in China, not that I have anything against them, but there is obviously a language barrier issue there.

I know both strikers and big strikers have like a "cone" attack range, and you need to get out of it to dodge.
My question is:
- do you need to get out of the CONE to not get hit, meaning A/D strafing like in fps games would get you hit
- will you dodge as long as you are going in 1 direction, even if you are in the cone still?
Basically i am trying to figure out if it's getting out of the "cone" that makes you dodge, or if going in 1 direction does

this is not true anymore, shooter projectiles tracking are not based on your crosshair position anymore, they changed it so you could not dodge hybrid barrages simply by looking down
hi; i'm "new", played during the pre-release; just came back into it with some friends.
is it just me or do the infested take less damage to kill? i seem to remember blasting tens of rounds into them to kill even one during pre-release.

depends how long ago you played but most guns have been given incremental buffs throughout the rundowns so technically there is a slight damage creep
i was using the SMG; the machine pistol i brought into an A run last night, did leagues better than i remember it.

DMR will have the most single bullet damage, I think bullpup has the most one click damage

I've seen players who are able to consistently slide under shooter projectiles but I'm not aware of the timing or the latency that they play on
They mostly hit you crouching if they were already above you when they shot

for hybrids you gotta walk perpendicular to them, however that might get your further away
For hybrids run into them and force them to melee 😎
Try the same for big strikers and they'll both tongue and melee you at the same time

My group took around 2 hours with a food break included in that for C1 
Prepare at least 2 hours D1 takes about 1 hour to complete

they will pick it up if you're about 7 meters away from the box, but you can't be between them and the box (otherwise they might see the box as being too far away - that and another bug where they don't pick stuff up at times is being fixed)
First and foremost, make sure you foam and mine doors properly so you won't have any surprises. UPLINK_CONNECT xxxx.xxxx.xxxx.xxx will start the uplink and you have a few seconds to prepare. Codes will start appearing on your screen, and you have to pair what the terminal asks for with what's on the screen for example terminal asks for X1 and the word "Green" corresponds with X1. Make sure you use TAB to auto-complete the UPLINK_VERIFY command.
