Numbers mean the objectives you have completed
1 main clear, no extreme clear, no overload clear, no prisoners efficiency clear
first number is base objective, second is secondary objective + main, third is overload + main, and last number is when you've done them all in one expedition.
Prisoner Efficiency (PE) is doing all objectives in one run
i.e. If i've just completed overload & mainon a level, it would read [1,0,1,0]

Sectors are a mechanic which adds optional objectives to the game, ranging from altering the game state to adding other objectives. The following sectors are available:
High (Main Sector)
Extreme (Second Sector)
Overload (Third Sector)
Prisoner efficiency (All three Sectors in the same run)
Multiple sectors can be completed at the same time. In order to unlock certain tiers you will need to satisfy their sector requirements.

Reading the communications at the beginning of the level of A1 is also really helpful at introducing the enemies
honestly my main issue as a new player is the fact that I'm using Geforce Now to offset my potato PC and the objective text is so fucking small that when my game drops in res with internet fluctuations it KILLS ME

the objective just said to go to a specific zone to find said projector rather than referencing the alarm door
so we kept pushing deeper past the terminal in circles and got lost lmao
well the alarm door has the zone name on it
When you look at the doors it tells you where they lead. With sec doors only referencing the zones they lead to

experiment as much as you can. try all weapons. they all feel awesome
and you will naturally gravitate to what you like

Anyone have any tips for not feeling lost/getting lost in the rundowns? More specifically when I look at my mini-map, I find it hard to distinguish where to go half of the time and find the multitude of zones/sub-zones confusing to find in relation to the objective.
Anyone have more in-depth info on the differences between the new melees? Can the bat and knife kill scouts? (In a team environment with varying melees) Do they do enough damage for stealth giant kills? Is the spear "double hit" mechanic a bug?

can you one shot a giant striker with a fully charged melee swing? and/or with any particular weapon?
you can 1 shot to the back of the head with a full charge after taking a yellow syringe, other wise it takes 1 full charge to the back of the head + 2 full charge to the back (3 people) or 4 full charge to the back (4 people)
and thats with all sledgehammers, not sure if its possible if anyone's using knife or baton

If you have fast internet, you can fresh install and it should clear up the issue

These issues are generally resolved with a restart of the game or validation of files on Steam though for me at least

how do you order the bot to follow a person or place down a sentry turret??
the dashes are spots for optional objectives. since A1 has no optional objectives, its a dash
for levels that do have them, it'll have a 0 if you havent completed them
like B2, or C2 i think

They did recently add a checkpoint system at certain security doors
no that was just me not being able to read
they did add a checkpoint system but it doesn't work like closing the game and then coming back to it, the checkpoints only work if your team dies
and only some of the levels are long. the A tier level(s) can be done in under half an hour
without trying

Generally speaking, if you needed to use a terminal command in a level and go through a checkpoint reset you will likely not be able to use the command again

mine and cfoam the door the leads into the room (door to the right if your back is to sec door) and then place a turret (burst or auto) at the top of the stair cases (terminal platform) and have it facing the one that leads down to the checkpoint door but not too far forward because the last scan always goes up their

Has anyone else had problems oneshotting the scout since 1.0? I tried with spear and hammer aiming for the head like before. Had about 80-90% successrate last rundown. Failed 4 times yesterday :( am I the problem or did the balance change to make it harder/ impossible?
I haven't had a problem, but where are you aiming on the head and are you crouching?
I feel it is easier. I come from R1/R2 doh
@earnest pulsar if ure asking if I woke it up before the hit connected - no. I usually sneak towards it, let it come to me and stand up a millisecond before I release my charge so reach the head better. I definetly got the hit sound but it didn't kill it.
I'm asking because if you're crouched then you probably hit the chest or neck but even uncrouching right before might not be enough

We wiped at B2 cus we didn't scout ahead xD had no idea where the extraction was and we left some full rooms behind haha

well you can't really scout ahead on B2 because the first sec door is locked until you get hsu dna
I was always short for people to play with so I can't really say alot. But I've technicly been playing since R1 xD
also you should get in the habit of not crouching for scouts
@earnest pulsar we just fully ignored doors we didn't have to go through even when it wasn't alarmed xD we were in a rush mood for some reason. Well shouldn't rush a game like gtfo haha

my scout highlight of rundown 6 so far is either the knife kill or solo clearing the C1 room
I'm happy about checkpoints tbh.
I am finding a lot of more unexperienced players so they help.
They tend to be further in the levels anyway, before something "big"
I'd probably get other phobia's from watching all the new players be over confident
I'm the one that's always send forward to deal with the scouts xD my team usually waits at the door until I'm done xD always a good adrenaline rush when you try to sneak through a full room trying to kill that scout without waking the room xD
Killed 4 scouts out of 5 in a room, i say "go ahead and snipe the last one", someone spears it and makes him scream

Just oneshotting pretty much everything - feels great
I don't like the scattergun because it takes too long to reload and you only get 2 shots and tou have to be in thwaping distance for a one shot
That pistol staggers EACH it
On top of that, good ammo efficiency and hip fire. Damage ok too
Also im the only mad person in my team charging head first into a horde to kill the big guys hoping my friends don't shoot me in the ass xD
But the stagger potential is really good on it
my favorite weapon is the knife, it's just so fast and as long as you're accurate you can solo clear a packed room in under 2 minutes
For some reason I can go into an alarm with 20% health, charge in the horde and come out alive o_O

normal sleepers have 1 health (this is basic)
scouts have 2 health
Remember opening a door just to have a sleeper on the other side of the room randomly wake up and charge at you? Fun times
knife precision bonus is x4 so 1 damage to the head
being behind and the normal headshot multiplier to the 1/4 damage is another 1
so it would take 4 full charges to the back
and 8 full charges to the front

because the knife doesn't even kill with a full charge to the back yet still kills with a front headshot
is there a way for us to make bots pick up specific items I.E; ammo packs etc

and in order for it to actually kill a scout it would have to be 1/4 to get the needed 1 damage from the behind and the headshot multiplier

u can stealth duo with hammer or spear tho, if u both space out ur attacks

@unkempt ridge there's also an entire video on how to mallet solo giants if you want. The jist of it is chaining limb hits to keep the staggers, and hope it doesn't scream
