from what i've read; usually to do with who the host of the lobby is, and if you're two rooms away from him things can spawn on you if you're unlucky.
although there are a lot of chargers on that level

Spawns being tied to the host is a hoax
it's probably 2 rooms away from any random dude
it picked random dude in the team and then spawn 2 room from that dude
if the team split up 3 - 1, the game will most likely to choose 1 of the 3 guys (75% vs 25%) than the 1 lonely guy. The spawn can also ignore the lonely guy and spawn on top of him.
if you split up 2 - 2, then it will be random spawn, and it won't spawn on top of other player unless there are no room for them to spawn in, meaning spawn blocking.
so in my 4 man rundown, i got the 25% chance for more then ~5-8 spawns?
it picked random dude in the team and then spawn 2 room from that dude
so the guy you left behind can get the spawn, spawn on top of him
or
the team of 3 go too far (more than 2 room away) then they will spawn inside the bloody door zone
we were in the first room and the spawned 1 feet away from us

There's always a chance they'll spawn on the people that are looking for the key, so best to always be ready for it
just weird that they even spawned before the scream, we entered the new room, waited for a sleeper to not spasm, next second we got fucked in the back by 4 chargers, the mate and me both dead

Not much you can do about it tbh, either way takes risk. All you need to do is to remember where all the terminals are, trying to find the key as fast as possible

Either way, my now idiot proof plan is to simply pull the rooms up the ladder back to the party. Try to get a few at once.

I think there is a limit to how much cfoam a door can hold
Spray just enough to fully foam the door if you want to min max it
anything past the value of 10 unboosted pellets is generally wasted on a fresh door.
contested doors often take more foam to reach maximum foam. full charge them.
adding foam past when the door "reinforces" does nothing, although once it takes damage, it can be maintained by placing one pellet at a time, sorta matching the door punches.
There isnt a limit, as long as you have cfoam.. you can continue but anymore than 10 blobs on a door is wasted so just wait for them to destroy some of the foam

Did you check terminal and query each cell to check what zone they are in?

Query them, go to the zone where they are and use a terminal within that zone that can ping the cells
I went and checked the zones and it says Zone_194 for one and Zone_192 for the another. The zones on this map only go from 61 to 64 at my current access. What do I do?
usually in high a cell spawns in either the c area or d area of 62
and the cells in zone_194, zone_193 etc are in extreme

I saw a video where someone was saying the host shouldn't hit bigs (big chargers) first when stealth killing. Whats up with that? I know scouts act funky with host but not sure what is going on here.

n00b question, since I haven't had time to put in since r4 ended - is there one space for each findable booster in the selection menu, or is it like a backpack that can fill up without having everything?
Asking since there seems to be 3 versions (of effectiveness) of the same skills, but some of the names aren't in all three catagories
so not sure if supposed to be able to find 3 versions of every booster, or only some boosters have multiple versions?

Yes, you have to empty your "backpack" by use some boosters or simply drop unwanted ones.
They don't stack even they share the same name so you have to clear your slot.
What does Rundown Specific mean on the guns?
Only exist in this rundown. one or two might carry through to the next rundown but mostly they get wiped in the next one. They will sometime make a returnal after 1/2 rundowns in the future

if your inventory is full i believe the rest just get straight discarded

as for multiple charges, it looks to me like the rarer ones often get more uses
So it incentives you to use them even when you don't need to... which is good, I suppose... still, I wish you could favorite a few and let those stack up, that way you don't have to use them

Without clusters, the closest awake sleeper can alert to a kill, up to at around 12m
Get a bio and get a feel for the distance
Alternatively helmet flashlight works if you stand in-between the sleepers, it's got just the right distance - if you're in melee range of your target and the other doesn't react to the flashlight, it's out of range

That's done by completing objectives usually
Unless it's different in further rundowns, in A at least, it's in the same position all runs. Though if you find any terminals prior to finding the correct one, you can use the query command to progress the objective and get a zone of where it is.
Does anyone know if B1 (PE) and B3 High are soloable ?
I only did B1 High with 2 mates and not B3 but i know the main objective

Sometimes your objective is a terminal
Terminals are the core of the game. It will help you a lot in lots of scenario. Unless people have dyslexia, then they have no choice but to let the others to do it
Useful commands:
LIST ZONE_zone number
--> Shows all items in a zone
PING item
--> shows you where the item is in the zone

even with a perfect sync it still screams instantly occasinaly
or rather, every time when playing as duo
if it's same deal as normal scout multihits, you only have like 0.2-0.4 seconds after the first hit
in duo with 1 host and 1 not you'll need proper practice to time that
so timing is less forgiving when host also goes for kill then?

Have two people stay outside, two people stay inside
Until you clear the room with the terminal in it then have everyone come in and ping for HSU
And don't try to sneak. Go fast.
or just search by checking HSU
Overload, bring 3 snipers sentries and one bio
Use one sniper on wave 2-3
Use 2 snipers on wave 4 or 5
Use 3 for wave 6 and 7
Save cfoam grenades and deployable mines for extreme
Take a note on how much resources you have for overload
As for specials, 2 HEL rifles min
A machine gun would be good too
And for the last guy, a shotty probably would be good

higher heat means artifact value is more
So, is there a much of a reason to clean out a level until it reaches 0?
after you complete the mission depending how many artifacts you pick up the heat will go down
if the heat gets low you wont get very much out of artifacts so usually it's just play other missions
lowest heat you can reach is 20%, but usually it's better to do some runs on other stuff, if artifacts are your main concern
but i guess cleaning it out wouldnt be a bad idea but it would definitely be tedious and kinda meh

Prisoner efficiency (All three Sectors in the same run)
Multiple sectors can be completed at the same time. In order to unlock certain tiers you will need to satisfy their sector requirements.
so like high is the main mission you have to do, then extreme/overload are there to make the mission harder

Yes, and it is an important skill that you'd better practice it early

you can always practice in A1
take your time with it though
may not work all the time for you when you're practicing but with failure you'll learn better

Short answer: full charge melee to the head can stealth kill a scout.
Long answer: hey, there's some nice YouTube tutorial videos there.
If you want to solo practice, B1 is probably the best
Hammering a scout is a basic requirement for B and above Tier
Otherwise you are going to lose lots of resources when you see two scouts in one room
A2 Extreme is not a bad level to practice as well, just need to stealth a bit, do the terminal then deal with the scouts

97 is that initial keycard zone right?
Yeah the one with the ramp under it. Having trouble setting up sentries /mines as sometimes the first circle goes upstairs so they ignore the ramp altogether. Would it be better to set up inside the door?
mines you can setup behind each of the three(?) doors that connect directly to 97A
catch the horde as they group up with those
sentries are a bit awkward for that alarm but generally i have better luck putting them inside 97 because the sightlines are garbage in the starting zone

hello fellow gamers. not sure if this is better suited for technical support but its not really an issue so ill try here first i did have a question i cant seem to find answers to in le google. I am attempting to figure out what exactly CPU culling does so i can figure out what the best option to use is. all i can find is generic "makes cpu do stuff more" and i would love to know a little more. At the moment i have a threadripper 3960x and a 6800XT i play at 4K. from what i can see it appears that having culling set to extreme creates about 10 maybe 12 threads that end up actually doing quite a bit of work. I am just curious if this is likely to help with performance for my setup as i know higher load does not always = better. As i understand culling in general is the fancy math magic that lets the system figure out what does not need to be rendered as its not visible. what i dont know is what setting the different levels equates to. it seems like it uses a lot of threads to do the work so i assume higher level = faster finding of things to cull per frame?
when a scout screams, does it spawn a horde at spawn? or the previous room the team entered before?
It depends. Most of the time they spawn 2 rooms away from your current room. If just 3 rooms are available like the very first zone of R2E1 then they spawn in the adjacent room. If your team is too spread out it can happen that they spawn on top of you.

And there's a scout in almost every room 
After the nerf the main objectives seem fine. Together with extreme and overload it becomes somewhat challenging

well solo combat has become a lot less enjoyable since enemy collision
it hurts the game more than anything yet it stuck around for another rundown
they need to either put a shit ton of time into actually making it work properly or just get rid of it
you need a full team for combat not because it's actually that hard but because all the shit you have to deal with that's out of your control 
I rarely see it as a problem for myself. Most of the time it is annoying in chokepoints. But I am not soloing anymore either. Isnt fun to me.
Still, if things get tweaked and it becomes better then I think it will be an overall plus
when a dude that's charging up on you gets pushed around in an unpredictable way it's very hard to do something about it other than using a spray weapon

They nerf'd the total ammo pool by 5 rounds.
Which just seemed to make no sense to me as it was a solid round-about weapon choice. It wasn't exactly overly op or anything.
The nerf didnt exactly do anything, still feels like you can never run out of ammo with it since it gets 35% per ammo pack
Basically all your ammo
highest % out of the specials, MG only gets 29%

supply boosters on revolver for big profit
most of the bold ones will get you close to 50% per ammo use
That's just because it's got the biggest mag

If you are doing c1 main only you can do the farthest terminal first and work back. This will allow you to sneak back to extract before the error alarm spawns.
Counter intuitive at first but you can grab resos from any side zones when you need but in the end there will be no error alarm pressure as you can take you time sneaking / clearing and 2nd big hub zone having no chance of alerting
