hey I'm new to the game and want to join my friends but have problem connecting, did the usual, Restarted, Redownloaded, Reinstalled, Checked Internet, Tested wifi, switched from LAN and wifi and back, changed dns, doesn't matter what I do everytime I join their invisible or just a black lobby, Not Ready is displayed regaurdless if I'm ready or not. Yes. There is a log in R6D4 that doesn't count as well as one inaccessible one in R8
which one in r8 cuz i know there is a terminal in r8d1 in the zone with the chargers n tank error circles

always ask to not be carried, make sure that everyone joinin ur lobby joins ur voice channel
and if you are new be sure to do the tutorial first [Training] and start on rundown 1 since its the simplest one

noooot really, only way its gettin a good position to gain range and backin off when its necessary
bots go into melee when the enemies are too close to em, mostly to not shoot u in the face
i saw all of my bots staring at one that kept getting staggered and shoved around
like it took them freakishly long to kill it.

honestly the shadows are easy, i can outrun them, they react oddly slow compared to normal one
even shadow giant are easy picking.
though doing stealth is a tad bit harder, that was during an alarm so there ain't much stealth there.
people keep saying that yet I see a drastic difference depending on the gun
though its probably indirect from how well they can keep stuff off of them or how often they go into panic mode

So a couple of friends and I recently got into GTFO and we've been getting our ass beat in R3A3, mostly due to running out of turret and main weapon ammo on the third/fourth stage of the test and getting overrun, which got me wondering what we can do to avoid running out of supplies beyond just being more accurate with our shots
HEL auto turrets have been helping out a lot by staggering in earlier parts, but they also seem very ammo inefficient compared to burst turrets, especially when the big boys start spawning
im no pro, but from my clear, we used 3 burst/sniper sentry and a biotracker. hel auto is pretty bad.
we setup outside of reactor room on the left side stairs so enemies just funnel there
Oh we didn't even think of setting up outside the reactor room
hel weapons are really good for that mission, the first hallway outside of reactor room has crazy lineups for hel rifle/gun
sniper sentries with bio carry
also make good use of the time between waves, you have plenty of time to look for resources
there is a LOT of ammo and tool in the zones around the reactor
list and ping with terminal if you cant find
LIST U E_431 to get a list of resource packs in zone 431
People usually set in the room before reactor with catwalks, on either side, really, or in room C of the first zone with small door opened and all facing that direction (I dont do that because sometimes enemies spawn glitched and you need to go all the way to A to kill them when they're stuck). Keep in mind that last wave is something like 6-8 giants or around that number, and after code 2 is in, enemies can also spawn "behind" you.
Try to all stay in the same room when doing reactors to avoid pushing the wave spawn too far from you

yes and because that guns range is short they get hordes near them more which then flips on panic mode more without being interrupted by reloads, or being confused by 1 enemy getting through and going into melee mode

uh to push that many frames on widescreen 1440p you probably want the beefiest gpu you can get, combined with a killer cpu and a fair wad of memory, I don't believe anyone has proper benchmark numbers or all that for this game

Guys, question 'bout waves during alarm doors: if I don't kill enemies of one wave (or kill not all of them), will second wave even start spawning?
i dont believe they do, enemies have a spawn limit and if u hold a door with foam for example u notice ur always holding the same door and u never see new enemies
of course depends on the type of alarm i guess but for all normal wave alarms they wont spawn if u hold em

The question was just because, for example, when soloing, can be useful to lure enemies to the farthest end of the room, then quickly run back and complete at least one scan of alarm.
But this strat would be shit if enemies spawned untill you kill prev wave

I solved it, but the special command is not visible when entering the command.
this might be because you progressed too far into the other zones
restart the level/restart from checkpoint and immediately go to the terminal and see if that works
alarm spawn mechanics anyway (I believe this should be correct)
Wave spawns certain amount of enemies, there is a timer until next wave spawn
Killing enemies from the current wave will decrease the timer, so next wave spawns sooner
The enemy cap does exist and alarms can't spawn past it
Alarm waves spawn however many enemies they can at the time of wave and don't queue anything afaik
And specifically for your question, for most alarms I believe a second wave will spawn if you don't kill the first and live long enough (but can't spawn the full amount of enemies) @mild arch

To be fair they were canonically called "Flea Demons" by Mayans or something, so its not too far off... But still. Bug is a very specific thing and sleepers don't fit much.

The mines need to hit the tank bubbles and that can be inconsistent

Not sure what exactly is going on, but I've mined the R6D3 last code blood door probably like 50 times and tank died like half the time. I suspect it was the angle the tank was running out at relative to the mine placement which was the exact same every time
But also I remember someone trying to mine the tank in r8c2 that zone with the 2 charger scouts. The mines were facing towards us at the top of the stairs and the tank took 0 damage even though the mines were facing us and tank was looking at us when they went off

Kinda new here, can someone tell me what the best weapons are for certain scanarios, I've tried a lot of them out but I'm having a hard time picking which to use and when
Well, there are not many scenarios:
Small enemy clearing...
Medium enemy clearing...
Giant clearing...
Bosses...
For mains you can pretty much default to using HEL Revolver or Carbine all of the time.
- HEL Revolver got broken reload cancel on it and is effectively an S-tier overpowered gun that can be shoehorned into any situation.
- Carbine got decent DPS, easy to use, brain dead gun really.
- HEL Auto Pistol and HEL Shotgun excel at crowd controlling hordes through increased stagger power. Can be real beasts in a tight tunnel. Shotgun reloads much slower, but potentially capable of much more damage, sometimes single-handedly wiping out a wave.
(Reminder: HEL Weapons are the ones that can penetrate and hit multiple enemies at once).
For specials:
- Small enemy clearing: Heavy AR, any of the LMGs, Precision Rifle if you want to be an anti-small sniper of sorts (thermal makes it easier to aim in the dark and counters a certain pesky enemy type), and also HEL Gun if you can catch a horde doing a train or rounding a corner together. Oh right: almost forgot Revolver. Basically same shit as Prec Rifle, only for closer engagements with superior hipfire accuracy and reload speed.
- Medium enemy clearing: HEL Gun or HEL Rifle. HEL Rifle is just upscaled HEL Gun with twice the damage for mean oneshots.
- Big enemy clearing: Sniper Rifle (oneshots most with a headshots), Scattergun (oneshots pretty much all of them with a point-blank blast), Burst Cannon (not as quick at killing as the previous 2, but lasts longer between reloads).
- Bosses: pretty much same as previous ones, same points stands. Scattergun is insane right now, Sniper Rifle kinda got nerfed into shitter. Burst Cannon is fine and is probably far easier to use on average.
The rest of the guns are just various forms of utility, like being easier to use and stuff. Or just for fun.

Its a divisive topic, but i think it slaps. You can get striker kills in 2 burst on it, if you try hard enough. Aiming down sights makes almost no difference too.

Hackett looks natural with a knife, Daude uses spear and Bishop uses Maul for me, it just fits him really well
primary u can get em burst rifle, has good range for em, otherwise maybs an automatic like hsmg or maybs even carbine
on secondary, they are very goo with machineguns, heavy assault rifle, just usually long range automatics
some people swear by burst cannon bots tho

The burst delay may factor, but shot delay on most burst weapons is very low.
Also just in general, I think most auto Mains have kind of meh DPS.

it has some lore, probs best way to do it its A1 to D1 and then the X missions
