Not near/caused by tectonic movement on a fault line. It came from nowhere. The three logs in question are very vague about it.

in which case, that not working is a bug due to memory leak
Sometimes when you foam a door with a shitton of enemies on the other side the foam will clip into the enemy hitboxes -- or the enemy hitboxes clip into the door, causing them to be foamed instead. This is super common. Just aim high when applying foam to doors that are about to get fucked

Heads are a bit higher than where you see the tentacles come out from. If you can use a flashlight to get the head outline helps a lot. Otherwise just gotta swing and guess.

r8e1 tips? We're stuck. Running 2 players and 2 bots, right now were doing 3 turrets and C-foam and using scatter gun to clear doors after they explode.

If you're fine with dealing with some bot shenanigans GTFO is absolutely doable as a duo/solo

Difference between 1 + 3 and 2 + 2 is massive in quality. There will be some limitations, but they can be bypassed.

if you wanna duo most of the game give the bot bio, they are better than any human trying to bio and shoot

Its a 22 dmg bullet in a tight package.
They deal a lot of damage with it and become very dangerous to sleepers - especially small ones.
Unfortunately they have tendency to unload the whole burst into your spine, which causes and immediate down.
Basically its a high risk high reward. If you can avoid not standing in front of them when they shoot - its about as dangerous as you can make bots without mods.

Main or Overload? (its a choice).
Main: in my experience waves stopped between individual uplinks, but i've seen at least 2 people claim they didn't stop for them.
Overloads: there is apparently a resting pause after 2nd confirmation.

in the case of R8C1 overload im certain that the first 2 confirmations dont have errors associated with them, it just takes forever for most of the leftover enemies to show up because they decided to make several waves of shadows spawn after a sucessful confirmation from what I can tell, and then they take forever to get there cause theyre slow as feck and spawn like 2 miles away

From what I’ve gathered there is no error even with Secondary done as long as you don’t fail the verify / confirm.
It does however seem like reactor waves so for example if you did Secondary it’ll still spawn a few waves of shadows after you’re done with confirm
Therefore it sounds like more waves keep spawning
Tbh C1PE isn’t even that bad unless you rush the sequences / fail the sequence.
We did it blind with no downtime and that was kinda rough but got that first try

just some advice!
always ask to not be carried, make sure that everyone joinin ur lobby joins ur voice channel
and if you are new be sure to do the tutorial first [Training] and start on rundown 1 since its the simplest one
Shooter - Tap occi
Striker - charge 30% and hit occi
honestly not worth doing on a striker if you're not rushing
takes bit of practice but with some positioning i bet u can practice it tons
its worth to hit as much charge as u know itll kill just for optimization
so if theres 1striker sit and 1shooter stands
the risk of fucking up is alwasy there

How significant is knife low range aggro?
its far range chance aggro, and i guess its kinda noticeable
i mean if u play slow and wait for all the enemies to stop glowin knife only will really fuck ur charge times and range with the rest of ur team, but knife favours a more fast based constant sneak, where u basically dont care if anythin is glowin

One terminal will have the logs with "keys" such as z05. The person will have to retrieve that log in order to get the correct code

So I know amounts of pack resources are mostly the same across levels but are things like cfoam nades, mines, fog repels etc also predetermined

There are different basic sets like melter/flashlight/glowstick and cfoam nade/cfoam mine etc and from those 1 of the sets is picked
There are pre-determined amounts of those plus or minus, but they don't seem to give a shit where to spawn
You can find the same explosive mine either in the very first locker in the level, or the very last one. Which... Rather annoying.

Not necessarily, I know this because I've ran a good amount of r1a1s and got no mines sometimes, once I got 2
I think they're just "flagged" in the zone as "can spawn" sometimes, but I've no idea how it actually works
If you're with bots just bring 3 sentries tbh
Refoaming isn't a strategy you can usually do with bots
And as along as you keep a door open they always funnel (for the second alarm they should ALWAYS go for the top door if all doors are closed I think)
But if you've a tripmine you might aswell exploit that
Honestly bringing 3 sentries is the way to go for 90% of the levels unless you can involve some major cfoam cheese to gain an advantage

They will harass the wave just enough that you can easily just finish off the rest.
My go-to loadout is always 2 burst sentries and a mine deployer
Foam + mine starts are neat, but they work only once until the door is blown up
Then 2nd wave is effectively unimpeded which increases the difficulty of defending from it.
Sentry spam averages this experience out, with all waves being threated the same, lest sentries run out of ammo somehow.
you'd probably benefit from sniper sentries in r3c1
main issue in that level is that everything kinda explodes when you crack hsu zone

I can never find the fukign hsu unit in time so I just die no matter what because the chargers get too much, same issue with friends, although I only did 2 runs of it with them
it's been a while since I played r3c1
but I imagine it'd be good to place 3 sniper sentries in opportune places outside the zone to catch error chargers
then crack the door, survive the dumb stuff that happens immediately after that (room wakes, scout wakes, whatever)
then rely on the sentries to thin the waves while you hunt for hsu
keep an eye on bio during
maybe look up a map of the hsu rooms so you can beeline to a terminal once the chaos dies down
oh obv. bring hel specials because chargers
you don't really need mines at all to my recollection, just sentry funnel the alarms
I think next time I play with friends I'll bring the sniper sentry instead of mine deployer, then just have one of us sit at the terminal and ping the HSU and we should clear it fine
and yeah I might try the HEL Rifle again
I like having a special that can deal with giants/scouts easily
could have one or two people with bio just park themselves at the door with a hel gun/rifle and sentry support

Last attempt error spawned in the last room, but the scout spawned right infront of the alarm door. I had time to peacefully wham it with the hammer and even mine the door to catch the error spawn. It was glorious.

I mean I guess an easy way to test is to find a level that gives you consumable mines early on and test the difference in falloff/whatever

my duos partner has been on the longest hel rifle arc, I see a lot of gross charger multikills and never heard a word of complaint about getting cheated out of pen value
why are all of the achievments below 10% of playes i litreally did the tutorial and its a rare achievment with a gold outline and my team all died and therres a rare achievment for that too im very confused

Achievements were added last update about 2-3 weeks ago, and game's been out for a while so there's a lot of players who either don't play it anymore, haven't played it after the update, etc, etc ,etc.
It probably counts free weekend players too, who pop in, get destroyed and quit immediately.
But yes, having every single achievement to show up on my "rarest achievements" Steam Showcase to be GTFO ones is kinda hilarious.
