Little late with response, but to reiterate:
A = Easy
B = Normal
C = Advanced
D = Hard
E = Very Hard
While there is a tendency that higher number levels (like C3) are usually harder than their lower counter parts - its not always the case. But clench your butt just in case anyway.
Rundowns themselves do not necessarily represent any sort of difficulty, but rather they each have a unique identity and philosophy of how they build their levels and challenges. But for what its worth: Rundowns 1 and 6 are considered the easiest ones, while Rundown 5 is considered to be the cursed one.

When you ping the HSU, it will show you what letter room it is in. The HSU looks like a cocoon in a cage. Walk near them to see if you get a prompt to scan

hi so in r8b4(main only) we didn't have to take the sphere to the extract but we also didn't turn on secondary. same thing happened in r8d2(also main only) where we didn't have to get the matter wave inside the extract.
was wondering if anyone had to actually have the item inside the circle if they selected secondary.

that makes a lot of sense, they seriously mitigated the checkpoint bug where you could never drop an objective item after a checkpoint, changing the tethers in the "i am carrying [blank]" markers could change item extract scans afterward

To the people who use Veruta, do you aim down sights with this gun or hip fire? I find the recoil pretty hard to control while ADS’ed and I end up missing my shots. I do find Arbalist a bit easier to control while aiming due to its low fire rate though

Yup, arbalist has slightly better stats but less ammo efficiency, aside from those slight edge cases it really doesn't matter which one you pick.
Veruta is practically better imo due to a shorter charge-up and more granularity.

apparently the new arbalist reload animation was a stealth nerf to the cancel
given veruta's higher performance ceiling and better stagger, veruta was clearly the better mg before r8 imo
reload cancel nerf for arbalist doesn't help
a bit of both
you can get away with defaulting to hipfiring up close, and it makes the recoil easier to control for sure
but you'll want to get used to the ADS to maximize it
and especially at range you'll need it
briefly ADSing to get head hits on a striker and hipfiring for the body hits can be effective and can mitigate the recoil

Well what I usually do it just run at them and time releasing my hammer so I hit them first (cuz range is slightly higher of my Meele swing) and then back off again so ig ill have to try releasing my swing a bit earlier to fix that, thanks

For maximum consistency I actually kinda recommend trying to use the hitscan portion. So close enough to hitscan, but far enough not to get frame 1 hitbox.
You can use late hitbox if trying to absolutely max range, but it won't get you the consistency.

anyone got any tips for r2d2? my team is hard stuck in it ? even the scaler guide doesnt help
hold bridge, learn the sequence on where to go and when, clear rooms fast (even pull them), make haste. some waves might be delayed (a lot), keep an eye out for stragglers even if most already killed.
we do those our issue is mainly with triggering the scouts and resource managment and honestly we arent rly good at either
we pretty much know the whole map and sequences at this point considering how many times we failed
If that's the case then you need to get good loadouts and know how to kill enemies efficiently. e.g. giants and hybrids are killed by the sniper and if you need to hammer 1 scout and snipe the other, then do it. Other than that you need to work together to clear out rooms without waking everything up.
Nothing more you can do other than improve your gameplay. You need to expect that if there are more big dudes and the sniper just shot 2 times, then you are clearly prioritizing killing the big guys while staggering the smalls.

Some people need to use the malatack ch4 burst rifle just because they spray all their ammo despite the team doing enough dmg to kill it already

big guys are fine only the hybrids get annoying but our main issue is ammo/tool and scout waking

The R2D1 expedition gets you to practice not waking up the rooms while there are many enemies with a scout
R2D2 just puts a timer on that skill issue and makes it more apparent

You can do so ||once you place the microdrive on the table||
you will open overload with that
i remember when I did bulkhead unlocks through terminal commands in an Occlusion level and somebody complained that it was "unintuitive and dumb"

Did you do the secondary objective already? Because on A2 you need to enter overload before if you are going for all objectives.

What are the R6-X missions? Just wondering why they’re named differently than the others. Are they more difficult than the missions in the same tier?
they are more difficult yea but thats just cause they were shifted down a tier from the OG
the X doesnt mean anything in terms of difficulty really its just their quirky name for the extension levels of og r6

Konig is for killing giants
Hel rifle is like the high cal if it was longer range
And had good piercing
I wouldn't use the hel rifle on giants cause it breaks limbs making successive shots hard to land (cause you are destroying the body)
it's a lot better than the hel rifle
but if you want to kill bosses honestly just use scattergun
To be fair sniper was dead before already as a boss killer because old bc existed as well as scatter
And it still has that infinite range

Not many people here really make use of dodge jumps aside from a select few vets and etc to my knowledge
You can still jump off the 0.1 second of it working
You'll jump at the speed of its momentum
Most don't do it since you need to really consistently be able to pull it off
it always worked, but it was weak after r6
