i was playing with some beginner players yesterday trying to teach them the basics but we were encountering really hard enemies in R1B1 (which i think is one of the easier levels), does difficulty progress with more players? I didnt think so but i find it odd we encountered a birther and a snatcher in the first room of R1B1

I've seen some people use flash lights in a way that seemed strategic. Is there actually some strategy behind using flashlights to clear a room?
not much really but u can flash a sleeper to force him to click so u can kill something afterward
Use them to quickly sync up a group for easier movement
or flash something nearby and kill a sleeper to force that first sleeper to wake up and kill that as well

The zone for the alarm itself and the fog lowering zone have ressources :|
the general rule is 2 rooms away (your room being room 0)

specific advice for that alarm. Mine the doors they spawn behind (no random mines in the open)
Then place 2 sentries (preferably burst or sniper) on the path they take in the actual alarm room

Base bullet damage 30 x precision multi 0.73 = 21.9 applies to all precision shots
Daky's requires you to get the head multi of Individual enemies
It changes the enemies head multi to like 1.095
Giant 1.5x head x hel rifles precision 0.73x = 1.095
Vs 21.9 x 1.5x
i still prefer explaining it with precision multi x head multies
cuz sometimes beginners ask why it does less dmg
which the dmg to precision doesnt explain

Strongest gun loadout to date yet (Alt R3 and R4 (only peak) is arguable maybe)
Strong tool loadouts (burst sentry works, sniper sentry and mines strong. R7/alt r1 is strongest total tho)
Lack of optionals (only 2 PEs and 3 extra secondaries)
Priority/story expeditions were toned down difficulty wise
Not meta shift but gun/tool balance has shifted
Na hel gun is too strong
Sniper nerf might be big
R6 is gonna be the first and only rundown where we will have an overall loadout that will be weaker than when it was out originally

at least with pingeverything there's a bit of controversy since you can use it to supplement the biotracker or find enemies in the dark. not sure how useful or impactful that actually is though
I personally like them, the resource helper because it is basicly the same as the "use on ally" but I don't have to have a seprete dedicated button for it, the ping everything mod depends on if they have mic or not

That's not resource helper, that's packs helper. Resource helper is visually displaying what and where packs/consumables are after you open the boxes
It definitely makes things easier, the disagreement over that mod mainly comes from how important resource identification and memory is to the game experience. Is it something that's ok basically having done for you via the mod or is it ruining a part of the game
A good example of this is the mod that lets you move packs around too. People who like it say it's just for convenience, those who don't recognize that the ability to stack 5 ammo packs in the same locker for a reactor hold is a bit op

There is a spreadsheet. For HEL shotgun to get to 1/2 dmg in absence of any multipliers (headshot, etc.), it would have to be shot at 22 meters from target. The spreadsheet I found on reddit by a user named RandomKenny called weapon analysis or something.

R7A1 is the easiest non training mission up to date (and training wouldve had a higher completion% if it wasnt for the mentally deranged speedrun community)
B1/C1/D1 having lower% than their counterparts even tho they are similar or even easier because beginners get stuck on them
E1 standing out generally (tho probably having a slightly inflated % even because you need to do all levels to play it)
C1 being the biggest roadblock overall for beginners specifically is quite well shown
And C3 most likely is a mix of beginners having no or little clue on giant stealth and vets yoloing it
C2 having a relatively easy first checkpoint I think also contributes a lot to its high completion rate.

Imo its also the „easiest“ main of the 3 once you get past that first scan
- c1 1st checkpoint is prone to breaking forcing resets

tbh I don't know how the the completion % handles checkpoints, if it counts resets to checkpoints
Though I think generally C1 and C3 have hard short sections between checkpoints, while C2 has long easy sections between checkpoints. So you might retry from C3 checkpoints several times, while you'd generally only retry from C2 checkpoints once or twice before getting it

They are the counts for Main/Secondary/Overload/Prisoner Efficiency clears on a level
If there is a - it means that completion isn't available on that level, (it only has main and secondary)
So for your example you cleared it with secondary once, no overload was available
what is the different if i only do main obj vs do all obj ? only some extra booster and exploration ?

same as with 3 i would assume - one in the hole in the wall, one on the bridge, one infont of the door past the hole in the wall and i guess an extra one whenever you are struggling and need its support

For burst sentry optimal setup (for killing) place 2 together with roughly 3-5 meters between them. Then the last one can work as stagger help further behind or be a sniper sentry thats there to pick off giants and some smalls
But bridge spot is still majority of runs
I prefer loading the empty sniper sentry while infront of it
